My sister was visiting from Australia, my mom lives in Whittier and we are in Redondo beach. We all drove to Long Beach excited. Our grand total was $440.00 We got there at 3 pm and our instructor Katie didn't even introduce herself. She had run out of sugar for the scrubs and essential Oils, her essential oils were so cheap and watered down. The ass ended at 3:32 PM. So we were shorted 58 minutes. She didn't even have proper containers for us and used tape to hold our scrub together, which we warmed her it won't hold and she disregarded our concerns. The scrub ended up leaking all over our car. We complained via email to Shelly the owner , who offers us a make up class. We advised her logistically it would be too hard to get everyone together And asked for a refund . She refused and gave us back $120 which in my opinion is a joke. We had asked for 50% minimum. Our whole evening was ruined because of this horrible company. There are so many other better businesses please do not give your money to this establishment. I wish we had been warned and should have realized when after 4 years of being open they only had 15 reviews on yelp. Save yourself the time, money and hassle

Brittany guided us through making two vessels and we got to choose a glaze as well for an added cost. The class was intimate with only 6 people + instructor and there were other studio members working on their personal projects in the background. Loved the studio vibe and the atmosphere! Great Saturday afternoon activity. Parking is challenging. Had to park a few streets over and walk, but Brittany waited for me to start class even though I was a few mins late.

He made learning pottery making a fun and easy experience for us first timers. He explained in detail and showed us the correct technique to mold our clay. The class was 1.5 hours long, and reasonable for the price since got to create 2 pieces of art to take home. We had so much fun and will definitely recommend it to our friends and family. The instructor was absolutely fantastic, incredibly engaging, patient, and great at keeping the kids focused and excited about what they were creating. ​It's such a thoughtful, mindful environment that truly focuses on the process of making art. My daughter had an amazing time, and we will definitely be coming back. Plus, being located right inside AoSA Coffee makes it a perfect, welcoming setup for parents. To her the classes are fun and a way to gain knowledge of game specifics, but to me, the parent, they are so much more! With guidance from her Gamerunner teacher Edward, she's learned how to: strategize, which carries over into tackling assignments in high school and college classes; deal with group dynamics, which is helpful for class and work place projects AND real world situations; expand her creative side through developing characters for each campaign, which has significantly increased her writing skills; and be flexible, cooperate, and problem solve quickly without losing her patience or necessary healing potion, which just might save her or a party member's life some day. ;) Most importantly (to me) my daughter has overcome her social anxiety without pressure or prejudice through taking classes at Gamerunner. This new self confidence has allowed her to take more college courses, attend large conferences and workshops, make friends outside her immediate circle, and find her smile again.
