This is such an adorable little art studio in the bixby knolls area. I have brought my toddler to 2 of their toddler time craft activities. The first time I went we were the only ones there for a while and the owner, Robin was very kind and attentive to us and make us feel very comfortable without being overbearing. It was really great to experience the art time with my daughter in this space. We had done a succulent pot craft. My daughter loved painting her pot, and then adding embellishments from their craft area. They have so many cool art project nights. We definitely plan to keep coming. read more

Studio Pick is such an inclusive space! We recently went there and Greg was so welcoming! There were 3 adults and 6 kids in the studio and they all had an amazing time! The space was safe and welcoming, even for our special needs son! The musical instruments were a beautiful touch! We completed 3 projects and Greg helped EVERY.SINGLE.PERSON in our group! We all felt included and left with a lot of pride and our creative juices flowing. It's in a safe corner location in Bixby with a little area out front to get air or hang out in between projects. This came in very handy for our kiddos to run out some energy. The prices are reasonable and I had a lot more fun here as compared to those wine and paint nights. I mean, don't get me wrong, those are fun too but it doesn't allow for a ton of creativity. So if you're itching to create or explore art for the first time, this is the studio for ya! I would highly recommend this place to anyone (all ages and abilities) for private events, birthday parties, take a class, or just pop in and explore! You won't regret it! read more

Aloha, Greg thank you for this experience! Chain pulling, diorama and overall creative freedom is exactly the therapy we needed on this fine Saturday morning. Perfect for small, medium and large groups. Easily got lost in the vibe we created including our yorki poo toy that was welcomed with open arms, soft towel to land and a ball to chase, our choice of music setting the mood. My kids (6, 8, and 10) have been here twice now, each doing various projects from chain pulls, dioramas, to halloween themed sugar skull decorating. Greg is an amazing studio host/guide and he has an awesome collection of various supplies/materials to unleash your creativity. I was in the neighborhood for First Friday with my kids and we were given a ticket to come here for a free spin art piece. My 4 year old was very excited to give it a try. Jennifer helped my daughter pick her paint and even hoisted her up to the spinning contraption so she could reach better. Jennifer was very kind to my daughter and it really made her night. Walked by this place going to lunch with my son. After lunch we came inside and we were welcomed by Greg the very friendly owner and artist. My 4 year old son had a private art class session with him. Greg has the friendliness, light hearted positive energy that kids need and I couldn't have been more impressed by his service. This studio is a one stop shop! I've attended an adult art class where I learned fun new techniques without feeling intimidated, I've taken my 7 yr old daughter on Saturdays during open studio time and we've both created art with Greg's guidance, and I've organized a group of kids to attend a private class with him. ALL WERE AMAZING EXPERIENCES!!! Greg is welcoming, attentive, and flexible. The creativity sparks fly upon entering. He offers take home kits, like a make your own mandala and a pour paint, that can be as inspiring for an adult as a child. I have been able to relax and make art and supplement my daughters school experience all at this one place. It's so convenient! This month, I brought my church youth group to Studio Pick for an art experience. It was so much more than that. First off, Greg is amazing to work with in finding the right time/day/party for a group. He responds quickly to email and phone calls and that's much appreciated when planning an event with a group. He was so welcoming to all of the kids, and he really helped them feel comfortable in his studio. What I mean by that, is that he let them know that this was their space for that time, and was not a place where you have to be reserved and treat it like a museum, but where you can experiment and touch, and work with all different mediums. His passion for art was contagious and he works really well with the teens. He knows when to let them just go, and when to reign them in and get them more focused. The kids had fun the entire time! Youth that previous to the experience had said things like, "I'm not good at art," learned to open up and find that creative part in themselves. They were so proud of what they had made. That goes directly to the environment and supportive nature of Greg and his studio. They were able to do acrylic pour, chain pull art, pendulum swinging art, and spin art! They used devices like hairdryers and glue guns and rocks and flowers and even a remote control car to make their masterpieces! It was truly an inspiring evening and I just can't say enough about Studio Pick! You've got to go! read more

We had a great experience at Studio pick for my daughter's 12th birthday party with 15 friends. They each created a sugar skull for Dia de Los Muertos and a chain pull canvas. Greg is very patient and encourages their creativity no matter what the skill level might be. Besides being a lot of fun it was great for their self-confidence to learn new skills in a safe and encouraging environment. The planning process was super easy.
