However for two people on a Saturday around 1pm it was just about an hour wait which wasn't horrible. They have plenty of open seating in the arena and also have an arcade and food options for you to order while you wait or after your ride. Since it was only two of us we had our race with other people. The track has two levels which made it super fun! They give you a ski mask which is mandatory to wear and a helmet. Overall great experience and something different and fun to do.

You can imagine that every kid picked gatorade and was over-sugared and dehydrated. I asked for pitchers of water. The arcade is a room with about 10 games - only half of which work + all of which are filthy. They are very expensive. Our races started almost 30 minutes late. What should have been a fun party ended up being an extra hour long, and really expensive. I have not recommended this venue to friends. Their own website clearly states to arrive at 6pm, with no mention of calling ahead, no reservation system, no waitlist. So that's exactly what we did. We arrived on time only to be turned away because the spots were already gone. Apparently there's an unwritten rule that regulars know to call ahead, information conveniently absent from their website. When we asked the general manager, Cameron, why this wasn't communicated anywhere publicly, her repeated response was essentially "we're popular", offered with the self-satisfaction of someone who sees no problem with the situation. No apology. No empathy. No acknowledgment that their website is actively misleading customers. Just a shrug and a reminder that this is "how you learn for next time." My son was in tears. What's most frustrating isn't the miscommunication, it's the attitude. A good manager finds a way to soften the blow, acknowledge the failure, and make a family feel heard. Cameron did none of that. When I pointed out that if calling ahead is policy, it should be stated publicly, she had no real answer, just more deflection about how popular they are. K1 may be too busy to care about losing one family's business, but we had been planning a birthday party there. That won't be happening. K1 is a great place to visit alone, with family, friends, celebrating an event, etc…read more.. It's spacious, clean, has things to do for adults and children, plus includes food and drink. The registration process is simple and the counter with computers is straight forward. The 11 laps don't go too quick so it offers a chance to learn the track and do your best. My adult daughters and I had a great time returning here after many years and would come back. It's a little pricey so it would be a bi-annual visit for me personally.
