I've taken my children numerous times and even brought them a baby tortoise we found wandering down the alley behind a pizza place. We most recently went for their Enchanted Hallow's Eve. Each room was decorated with a different theme, from Inside Out to pirates to Star Wars. It was so well done with fun trick or treat stations along the way. Take a tour, support the animals, and adopt, don't shop!

In terms of ease of having a birthday party, this is the place to do it. You can drop off your stuff and decorations in advance and they'll set it up for you right before the party. They take care of everything during the party (entertaining the kids, feeding them whatever food you brought, etc...). From the first day I went there, we were warmly welcomed into the space by Coaches Ben-Oní, Selah, and Audrey. In the last month, I have seen my son's confidence grow in his gross motor skills. I really liked the minimalist design of the space. There are no screens, and lots of encouragement to use the imagination, which is a major plus to me! I also really liked how they had structured and unstructured times in the class. All of the coaches encourage and respect children's boundaries. They taught me to not hurry my son, and that is something I am really grateful I learned from them. Two challenges with Wild Child are around parking and timing of classes. Though there is a lot on Watseka that does free 60 min parking, it can be difficult to time parking so that there is adequate time to get in and out of class with a toddler within the time frame. Secondly, many of the classes and Free Play for my son's age range were at times that conflicted with his schedule. For the price point, I would like more options that work for us. TLDR; I would recommend Wild Child and I hope Wild Child offers more morning class times.

The prices for retail customers are a bit ridiculous considering what they are selling. I purchased a goby and it even with slow acclimation it died very quickly. I blame myself for buying from this place and even fee guilty doing so. This is not a retail fish store. This is a place where the retailers go and understand 50% of the fish will die before resale.

It has everything you need for a quick and high quality bouldering session. The walls aren't high but their grade feels a bit more challenging, which sort of makes up for the size of the space. Place, it's in the heart of the plaza that literally has so many things if you want to grab a bite, do some grocery shopping, or even ice cream after a good session. Also, the gym is small but it doesn't really get crowded to actually feel small. As for parking, plenty of self parking around the neighborhood. But they also have a paid parking lot called the Runway, which can be validated by Sender One for 90 minutes.

This is a unique, clean, safe place for a kid to be a kid. Parent's make new friends with other parents and that's the way it goes. Couple of weeks ago we were invited to a 4 year old's birthday party. Kids had so much fun playing and interacting with one another. Sandy and the other employees were super nice, helpful and caring towards each child's needs and wants. Socks are required at all times while inside the playground. They allow you to bring your own cake, cupcakes, juice and goodie bags. You can even bring any character from a cartoon, movie and more.. Check their hours, because they are closed on the weekends which is a bummer. That's when parents like to spend most of the time with their kids. They also have 3 different packages and prices are super expensive. A lot has changed since I have been there myself. You can also do face painting, have so many different activities from bouncer to slide and a special area to play other games. Few parking spaces and restrooms for boys & girls. It's really a fun place; but, unfortunately Sandy, the owner told us that they will be closing their doors permanently this coming June. Good luck to them and to us!

It was fun to have access to so many recycled materials and meet new people. I've attended a few other Rediscover-sponsored events (farmers' markets, one at my kid's school) and I really appreciate their ethos, as well as the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. My son's class took a field trip here and it was absolutely wonderful. I had no idea that places…read morelike this existed, but how great because my son and his friends love the idea of re-using old, unwanted materials and turning them into something new. All of the kids had a blast and were so excited to bring home their creations. I definitely plan to be back both to drop off materials as well as to do some crafting together as a family. No mess at home is a huge plus, and it's eco-friendly. I also heard they have day camps when school is closed.

This was the first camp experience where both of my kids could attend together and it was a positive , enriching and wonderful experience . Each day they came home with beautiful art and jewelry and stories about the fun activities they did . The staff were kind , attentive and I could not have been happier with our experience. Thank you for making both my kids feel special and awesome every day! Next summer we will do more than 1 week .
