I met a ton of the members during the weekends and everyone was chill and laid back, and soooo talented! Lots of great dogs in this studio as well. I have given away a lot of my pieces as gifts (I made 16 pieces in my 6 weeks!) and everyone has loved them. It's a great heartfelt gift for anyone. I would have continued with the classes but I missed out on the next level classes, and then I moved jobs so I wasn't working in downtown as much. Yet the satisfaction of applying the new knowledge and seeing the finished creations were priceless. Would say I clocked a total of 30+ hours in between the 2 hour weekend classes. The studio itself was very spacious, well laid out, and had such great vibes with members offering to help guide you and share advice. Also, it seemed like a great place to meet new people from outside circles you normally wouldn't cross paths with otherwise. Though I had taken a year of ceramics in highschool, I didn't feel any prior background experience was necessary to learn and enjoy from this class. If the goal is to produce as many works from your 10lb bag of clay - as was mine - I would say a general understanding of the timeline of firing + glazing and refiring would certainly help you stay on a good timeline.

To add to this, we needed to be buzzed in so we could enter the premise. Once we were inside, the ambiance changed completely and there were a couple of IG worthy spots to take pictures while checking in. We opted for the spinning art experience since my daughter is too young to partake in the more elaborate ones. Originally, we booked for 4 people but one person got sick so we asked if we could transfer the funds for that person for another experience since there are no refunds. Luckily, was able to contact them the day before and added the bunny paint pour over experience. Ozzie was our guide and he was super kind and gentle with my daughter. We were instructed to pick 5 colors and then we donned our plastic bootie covers, apron and gloves. We entered our designated art room and was blown away by all the colors on the wall. There was even a tire swing which my daughter was all about. The spinning art experience was a lot of fun and I enjoyed seeing my daughter embrace the paint. I think her favorite part was when she had free rein to paint all over the walls. Overall, we had a great time. Only down side is that it does go by super quick and is quite an expensive experience for one hour. However, we get to have a treasured memento which is ready for pick up about 5 days afterwards and we did have a great time. That being said, #noragrats!

The…read moreexperience felt thoughtfully curated and relaxed, and we loved getting to try a variety of local spots in the Arts District all in one afternoon. Our tour guide, Sally, was wonderful. She shared interesting stories about the neighborhood and the restaurants, which made it feel more like exploring the area with a knowledgeable friend rather than a typical tour. The food was delicious and plentiful, and we even met some really nice new friends along the way. Our very first Six Taste tour was actually the Arts District tour back in 2016, so it was special to return ten years later and experience it again. Over the years we've also enjoyed their tours in Downtown Los Angeles, Hollywood, Santa Monica, Thai Town, Koreatown, and Little Tokyo. Every tour has been a fun way to discover great food and learn more about the neighborhoods of Los Angeles. Highly recommend!

Both the kids and the parents reported they had an amazing time. Jerry and his partner arrived on time, set everything up in time for the party, and managed the games with fantastic energy and organization. They kept a crowd of 20+ kids (and quite a few parents) engaged and entertained the entire time. The best part is that the parents had just as much fun as the kids! The games were a huge hit, especially parents versus kids. Several guests even asked for the company info because they were so impressed. It was a well-organized, reasonably priced event that was fun for everyone. We couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. I was very disappointed by the lack of understanding and accommodation shown toward my son, who has…read moreautism. My son only drinks water from a specific cup due to his sensory needs. When we asked for an accommodation, the security guard was rude and told us that if my son wanted water, he could walk all the way to the entrance every time, despite the distance from the bowling area. Hoping to resolve the issue, I spoke with the manager, Luis Gonzalez, but unfortunately he was just as dismissive and uninformed about autism and disabilities. Rather than listening and showing compassion, he was rude and unwilling to understand my son's needs. Businesses that serve families should make an effort to educate their staff about disabilities and neurodiversity. With autism becoming more widely recognized, basic awareness, empathy, and reasonable accommodations should not be too much to ask. This experience left us feeling unwelcome and unsupported. I will also be reaching out to upper management, including Cynthia Torres, to make her aware of this situation and to see whether changes can be made. As an autism mom, it is my responsibility to advocate not only for my son but for other individuals with autism and disabilities as well. No family should have to experience being dismissed or treated without understanding when simply requesting reasonable accommodations. My hope is that this feedback leads to better education, awareness, and compassion from staff so that all guests feel welcomed and respected.
