Went into Samsonite to look at hard case luggage. The girl that was working, was very knowledgeable and friendly and not pushy at all. We're still thinking about the luggage, but I bought a Crossbody purse. That was RF ID. And my husband bought a lock that was bright and could be open by TSA. I definitely would recommend this place. She wasn't pushy in trying to sell you something & the value was great for what we were looking for, was definitely within great cost compared to selection & prices we saw elsewhere. Bric's was our first stop & had no selection we're very high priced but warning us that Samsonite was high & then trying to heavily sell us what we did not want. I bought a Samsonite bag last year in Europe which I loved. After about eight months the main zipper unfortunately broke. I called customer service and they told me to take it to the nearest Samsonite outlet store. Eventually making my way to the store at Cabazon, I walked in with my bag, showed it to the manager and explained the situation. Within 10 minutes he'd given me a different but incredible bag priced around the same amount as I paid before - no questions asked. I always knew Samsonite was a great brand, but after this experience I will be a loyal customer for all future luggage purchases - it's well worth it read more

I bought the samsonite luggage in November of 2014. I've used it to travel to Thailand 3 times. The 2nd time the handle screw backed out of extendible stem and I forgot about it for my 3rd trip and that was a huge mistake as only having 1 stem connected to the handle makes it hard to pull. After calling customer service, they want me to drive 2 hours to an approved service center or mail the luggage. If it wasn't for that crew backing out it would get 5 stars but being that a handle on rolling luggage is pretty important makes it very hard to use and deserving of 1 star. Hopefully they change the design but be careful before purchasing this expensive luggage because 1 screw coming out will literally ruin your vacation because you can't move your luggage around. read more

I bought a 20" spinner carry on luggage 2 years ago. After only the 2nd trip to Europe the 2 front wheels wore so bad that they started to rub on the wheel frame making it very difficult to roll. I took it to their luggage repair shop in LA and was told that wheels are not covered by the warranty. WHAT a JOKE. They only cover handles, zippers, etc... but not the wheels. What is the point of a 10 year warranty that doesn't cover the ALL IMPORTANT WHEELS!!!! Then the repair shop gave me a estimate to repair the wheels and ship back to me that would have cost more the a new luggage. So I purchased a new carry on with LifeTime Warranty and it wasn't a Samsonite. I will never purchase another Samsonite (not the quality of years ago). read more

Came in needing a laptop bag, but this Samsonite store didn't have one big enough to accommodate our 17"+ laptop. The biggest they had in the store was for around 15". We asked the store attendant if Samsonite made a larger laptop bag, considering 17" laptops are very common. The store attendant responded with "Hey, what we have, what you see is what we got". The sales attendant was unable or unwilling to look into the Samsonite catalog or make any further definitive inquiry about our laptop bag size need. We felt mistreated by the Samsonite store attendant and were getting a bad taste in our mouth from listening to the salesman prattle on about stories which had nothing to do with our need to find a 17" laptop bag. So, we very politely said . . "Thank you. We'll look somewhere else". As we started to exit the store, the store attendant stated in a shouting voice "Thank you for the job security". We felt this was a snotty, condescending and abusive comment to make from a person who was so unknowledgeable, unhelpful and exhausting to deal with. We forget the name of the Samsonite store attendant, but we remember he did look very similar to the comedic actor named . . Kevin Hart, who may be funny and cute in theater, but we don't want to be treated like stage monkeys with disrespect when the Samsonite company should train its staff to behave professionally in a professional environment. We ended up buying a Tagus bag, which is working great, but now we have a bad taste in our mouth from Samsonite and a bad memory with Samsonite, which we hope Samsonite management can eventually resolve. read more

I bought a Samsonite carry-on luggage about a year ago and a fabric that wraps the handle started loosening within 6 months of the purchase. Given my frequent traveling schedule, I couldn't find any time to find a local Samsonite store to get it fixed until I happened to stop by this Samsonite outlet store on my way back from a weekend trip to the desert. I explained to them the issue and told them that I needed to fly out within 5 days. They completely surprised me by giving me a brand new carry-on luggage! They said that it would take much longer than 5 days to repair my luggage, so they just gave me a new one. It was probably more expensive and better quality than the one I had, but they put customers before profit. What a customer service! They completely made my day! I have always been a fan of Samsonite, but I'm a super loyal fan now!! Thank you so much! I'll be back to buy more soon!! read more
