We were in town on vacation and I'm so glad we came here to purchase my first pair of Birkenstock Bostons! The ladies that work here are very experienced with Birks and I finally got the proper fit from an experienced sales person who knew exactly how your foot should fit in THE MOST COMFORTABLE SHOE ON THE PLANET! The selection here is THE BEST! They also all the products to protect your Birks - the brush, the cleaner...... I'm so glad I came here before purchasing at Nordstrom! I will certainly be back and I highly recommend! read more

I saw a review for this place after the first day of Coachella and was SOLD! I was the first customer in this store right at 9am to buy a pair of hokas and could not be happier with my purchase. They have a great variety of shoes there and I found a hoka that was so cute and wore them out of the store and for the rest of the weekend! The woman in the store helped me find my size, and even let me run around like a little kid to see if the shoe felt good for me too! The shoe was well worth the price, around $150 not including tax. I strongly recommend this spot, especially since it's walking distance from hotels nearby. I'm happy I found this place and don't regret my purchase at all!!!! I even convinced my friend to get a matching pair with me too! read more

I stopped in yesterday to this wonderful store. Amazing how many shoes and sandals they have in stock. They have my favorite brands too, including Teva, Hoka, Sofas, Olakai, and many more. They also have many accessories. I ended up buying a satchel to carry my phone in. It is just what I have been searching for. Great staff too..amazing store. read more

Great experience, good service. Great selection. The workers helped with sizing. Jjkkkkkk

please don't buy their product. In less than a year my sandal are falling apart. They tell you they last a long long time and that's a flat out lie. read more

Great shoe store. And don't let the name fool you. They have MUCH more than Birkenstocks. They have a lot of top brands of high quality sandals and tennis shoes. My feet were killing me after day 1 of Coachella, so ended up buying 3 great pairs of sandals - some white Tevas, light blue Merrells, and some light brown leather Taos sandals. Service was very friendly and helpful. Totally recommend! read more

My plantar fasciitis flared up while on vacation and Birkenstock to the rescue! For anyone who experiences foot pain, you know the joy of slipping into a new pair of comfortable shoes with arch support. Not only does this shop carry a plethora of Birkenstock styles, many in patterns and colors I can't find locally, they also carry other brands of fashionable orthotics like Zanot, Vionic, Taos, Pikolinos and more. Even Ugg boots and slippers, which aren't orthotics, but you can add your own arch support, which is what I do. Usually comfort and orthotic do not equal cute, stylish and fashionable. Well at this store, based on the brands they carry, it does! Fantastic selection, well stocked in all sizes, and super helpful staff. So glad I found this store! read more

A nice store that was unexpected on a walk through the downtown area of Palm Springs. Not only were there Birkenstocks but also a very nice selection of Olukai sandals and shoes. I had been looking for a pair in black and found just the pair I was looking for. The store was nice and the selections was well displayed. The staff was friendly and helpful without being too intrusive. If you're a fan of Birkenstock or Olukai I certainly recommend a stop if you're in the area. Nearby parking was fairly easy and the area had many other shopping options. read more

I was looking forward to picking up a pair of Birkenstocks last night while attending Villagefest in Palm Springs. I was very disappointed when i went into the store. There only seemed to be a single staff member working the location. The store was packed full of families, and people looking to make purchases, but there was no one to really assist them. I felt so bad for the one staff member I saw they were trying to do their best. Realizing the Villagefest brings thousands in to downtown Palm Springs on Thursday evening I hope the shop managers adequately staff the store for future evenings. read more

Only store in area that carry Vionic shoes. For anyone with arch problems or Plantar faciatis then you must try these shoes. Also they carry Hoka which are equally amazing and comfortable shoes. staff very helpful read more

I have broken my foot AND sprained my ankle well enough to require surgery. Yo say that I am very picky about shoes is an understatement. I know all the comfort brands and have yet to find a shop where I live that carry them all. I'm out in PS for a convention and when I saw the sign from the restaurant... I had to stop. Great selection, the staff is knowledgeable in all lines, and prices are what you expect for this quality of shoes. Others may collect knickknacks as souvenirs, but I have not one but TWO pairs of cute shoes that will always remind me of this trip. Until next time... read more

Warning! Do not shop here! The staff is there own brand of rude. I went looking for a pair of Hoka shoes and they had a pair that was stained. The manager said, "do you want them or not" . Odd behavior and wish they would hire a new staff that isn't so hateful. read more

Found this awesome non leather brand that is so my style! Non leather and supports a great cause.

This is a excellent shoe store. They have everything and the manager Ron is the best. He is so helpful and is so knowledgeable. We love shopping here. Highly recommended!!! read more

I called to make sure they had my size which they did and told them I would be as soon as possible. I showed up two minutes before closing and they just stared at me as they saw me walking up and locked the door and flipped the sign. Worst customer service. I am a longtime Birkenstock customer. Terse saleswoman, apprupt, literally snapped at me and my sister today. Have been to many Berk stores. Never experienced such unhelpful behavior. read more

This was one of the more lackluster customer service experiences I have had in a while. I mistakenly brought a new pair of sandals on my vacation and they were sooo uncomfortable so I was very relieved to find a Birkenstock store in downtown Palm Springs. It was very cramped, but the selection was good. It took a long time to get any help or acknowledgement. I think they are very understaffed. When I did get to try on a pair I wasn't sure about the fit and asked for some input since I haven't work birks in so long. The salesperson was not very helpful in terms of assisting me with this question. I ended up buying the shoes out of desperation, which I feel like is maybe how this store makes most of its money. I don't really blame the salesperson; I think this store needs to have two people working on high traffic days like Saturdays. I worked clothing retail for many years and I know it's the worst but it's not great when you feel like staff just wants you to get out of the store. But that's what inevitably happens with understaffing. read more

Kinda pricey hippy shoe store, but they do always have a varied selection of walking, hiking and cold and hot weathered shoes. Sometimes they even have a sale. The employees have always been very helpful and accommodating too. read more

I have purchased over 5 pairs of Vionic mens shoes, 2 pair of Vionic house slippers, 1 pair Vionic sandals and 2 pair of Hokas I recently purchased a pair of Vionic mens shoes at full price They didn't put them in their box instead they put the shoes in a paper bag I was walking out and one of the clerks said to the clerk that sold me the shoes... tell him to come back.. they called me back to the counter They said the shoes were on sale, so they rang up a credit As I was walking out the second time the clerk said oh these are now not returnable I said What? I wore them at work for less than an hour as the shoes were uncharacteristically hurting my foot I called my home and they brought me my old pair of Vionics I tried to return it exchange them and they said no returns on sale items I showed them the full price receipt and then the girl who originally helped me came over and verified the series of events described above I now have an expensive worthless pair of shoes and I and my family will never shop at any Birkenstock of San Diego store ever again read more

Leave it to me to come to Palm Springs with new shoes that haven't been broken in. After a day of getting blisters, I was desperate to get something comfortable. Came here and realized that I can find a comfortable shoe that actually looks good. Our sales girl, Taylor Binkley was incredible. I tried on so many shoes before I made my purchase. She was patient and pleasant. I am looking forward to bringing my mom here when Taylor is around. Great service does make you want to come back! They have a great selection of shoes. From flats to heels, they have it all. The only difference is, these shoes are actually comfortable. Looking forward to coming back! read more

Bringing my review down to 3 stars. I was sold narrow sandals without being given the option of regular width. My feet are by no means narrow. I called to find a way to get this rectified but since I already wore the shoes they wouldn't take them back. They said that the soles would mold to my feet eventually but that begs the question of why there are two widths in the first place. read more

Made a purchase at this store today. Spent over $100 on a pair of Birkenstocks, the clerk told me the sandals were non leather, which is what I wanted. In fact she said non leather was all she had available in the style and color I picked out. Perfect for me. She gets them from the back of the store in a box and puts them in a bag for me. I make my 35 minute drive home, and take the box out of the bag, and on the box its states insole made of "LEATHER". So either she is clueless, lied, didnt care and wanted to make a sale and didnt think I would notice. Not happy at all, and have to make a trip back to return them. read more

The girl at the counter wasn't very friendly.. I was the only one in the store.. I showed her what wanted and told her what size.. well apparently .. birks are supposed to be fitted to your feet.. she watched me just slip them on .. I questioned the sides of the shoe so she brought out another pair.. they fit better.. she adjusted the strap and that was it.. wearing them for a week now .. if she would have taken the time to fit me properly I would have gotten a size smaller .. it took me a while to talk myself into buying birks in the first place.. I should have read more before buying them.. but she could have been more helpful since it was a Birkenstock store read more

I am so happy my husband and I stopped at this Birkenstock store, they had a large variety of Birkenstocks in many different colors that I have seen online and wished I could find locally. The employees are very sweet and knowledgeable on the products. We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door, the girl that was helping us also helped me decide on what pair looked the best on my feet. Will buy more from this store as I need them, or as new colors come out that I have to have :) read more

The apathy in this store is awful. Every time I go in, the young women are giggling and non attentive. I asked the woman about sizing in Birkenstocks and getting any information from her was painful. She could clearly see I had a wider fit and yet did not suggest I go to a medium-wide width , on after I asked her "is their a wider width than this?" I finally received the right size snd reluctantly bought them as the service was so pathetic. Ughhhh do disappointing. Next time on line for sure. read more

Nice store and like the new location. But my main issue is, Nothing is priced. I picked up 4 to 5 shoes and not one of them was priced. I had to ask and then I get an answers like I believe it's 120. something or next shoe, I think it's around 140. It really makes you feel uncomfortable having to ask and then not even get a straight answer. I don't know if I'll be back. It's easier to just shop on-line than to support a local business that just doesn't take the time with it's customers. read more

The best selection of comfort footwear in So California, better than up in LA! Great customer service as well: friendly and helpful!

Great selection. Friendly staff. Pricey but you can't go cheap on your feet. The staff let me wait indoors with our dog while my husband shopped. It was hit in downtown Palm Springs even at 9:30 am read more

The service was HORRIBLE. Our "salesman" Zack had a horrible attitude. Three of us girls were doing some shopping and Zack was waiting on 2 of us (the other a gal in the shop who was very nice). I think it is reasonable to expect that it would be necessary to try on additional sizes of the different shoes you are considering to purchase. Each time Zack was asked to get another size or color of shoe he acted like it was a BIG imposition of his time. One example was I asked if he had a style in Black, he went in the back to check, came back and said yes; wouldn't you think he would bring it out with him....you guessed wrong; so when I asked him to bring it to me I got the meanest look from him. Just one example of his attitude. I don't know if that is his attitude daily but it was my experience and it was poor. read more

A really nice, diverse selection of shoes and brands. Came here to buy Birks and Ashley was incredible sweet, informative, and patient!

ZERO STARS is what they deserve. I was directed by this store to La Plaza Shoe Repair right around the corner as the store doesn't do repairs. Long story short, La Plaza put counterfeit soles on my Londons, and botched the buckles job. To the point of replacing them with the WRONG colored buckles and them slapping shoe polish on them to try to change the color. Management at Birkenstock once informed of the situation feigned concern and then LIED to my face about replacing my shoes. A few weeks later and having not heard from her, I call up and she tells me that all she will do is provide me with a pair of soles and that I would have to have them put on someplace. I mean WTF is that??!!! Really??!! I will NEVER patronize this business again. In fact, I'll be telling EVERYONE I know to stay away from this place. THEY SUCK!!!! read more
