I purchased a pair of FlipFlops in January 2015. They did not have my size in stock but were expecting them the following week and would send them to me. A couple of weeks later in January my assistant called J Stephens and spoke to Domingo and informed him that I had not received the shoes; however, the purchase had been charged to my credit card. Domingo stated that he would check in to this and call me back either later that day or the next day but never called back.
On February 20, 2015 Domingo was called again to inquire about the shoes because they had not arrived yet and he stated the shoes would arrive soon, in the next week or 7-10 days, because they were out of this particular model. As of March 11, 2015 the shoes had not arrived so another call to J Stephens was made by my assistant who spoke to Domingo. He was told that I was unhappy. He said that he would "make it right with me" and would check into this and call me back the next day but, again, he never called back.
On March 18, my assistant made another call to J Stephens and asked to talk to the manager this time. They informed me the manager was Domingo. We proceeded to tell this person we had made repeated calls to Domingo and he was not good on following through on what he said he would do. Domingo was informed that I called my credit card company to dispute the shoe charge since the shoes had never been received. Domingo stated this time that they were not able to get the new shoes I wanted and asked for my credit card information so he could issue a credit for the shoes.
On March 27, 2015 Domingo was provided my credit card information to credit my account. This time, Domingo stated "the shoes had all arrived now and asked if I still wanted them?" I did wish to have the shoes and if they indeed had the shoes, would he ship the shoes to my home in the Desert since I would be there soon. Domingo stated he would ship the shoes to arrive on April 1.
On April 30 I followed-up with one more telephone to Domingo to let him know that the shoes which were supposedly were shipped to arrive on April 1 had not arrived. This time, Domingo informed me that the shoes would not be available until June. We asked Domingo to please issue a credit to my Chase credit card since this had been going on several months now and I still did not have the shoes. Domingo said he would issue a credit of $109.95 to my Chase (Visa) credit card by Monday, May 4, 2015.
A credit was placed in my account but later recharged to my account. The credit card company communicated with J Stephens and was told that I received the shoes. Since I did not have the shoes, I asked the credit card company if to provide me with the delivery notice. I am still out the $109.95 and the shoes. I would never deal with this company again.
