Pepperoni Pizza

Hands down, the best pizza in the entire city. Arguably the planet. No frills, this Albanian joint keeps it simple and delicious regardless of the time you eat. Whether it's 11am or 11pm, you'll get a fantastic slice of pizza

I've been coming here since high school in 2007! (RKA 141). Their pizza never disappoints. Cheesy, hot, crunchy and just enough sauce. I love that they are so close to my home whenever I'm in New York!

Great pizza - went all the time when I lived in the area, and still go over to grab a pie when I want a good slice.

This is great under the subway pizza. The slices are thin and as wide as can be. Not special, just real good NYC pizza.

This is the best NY slice and if you don't agree it's probably because you're from New Jersey

Big slices! Good pizza, though not enough sauce and cheese towards the crust. Leaves you with a lot of plain dough at the end.

I've eaten pizza here multiple times. The ingredients are top notch. My most recent patronage was…read morevia Uber Eats, which was a great experience. The driver arrived quickly and brought me my pizza in excellent condition. We ordered a small pie, half cheese and half sausage. Everything about the pizza was fantastic. The sauce, the cheese, the dough, and the sausage! What I loved about the sausage is that its added to the pizza in decent size crumbles, instead of sausage sliced in the casing. In addition, the sausage is super tasty and not oily at all. I recommend you stop in and eat there. Eating in elevates my review to 5 star. Piping hot and right out of the oven is always the best. The restaurant is located on the ground level of a residential house and they have tables outside, in the back of the house. The staff there is friendly and if I remember correctly (I haven't been in the shop for a few years), its cash only. When you call them directly or order in person, they give you a number and thats what you shared to pick up your pie. Another plus when visiting the shop is that there is an ice cream and sweets shop right next door. If you can't make it in, order using Uber Eats. You can pay via cc.

Unfortunately, the food I ate fell very short of my expectations. I ordered a few slices of both their regular pizza and Sicilian. The Sicilian slices barely had any sauce and too much dough that was not flavorful at all. The cheese did not taste that good either. The regular pizza slices also lacked flavor and sauce. They were also too thin and the crust was only a little crispy. The fresh mozzarella and tomato slice tasted the worst while the slice with pepperoni was somewhat better. I'm not sure if my experience with this restaurant is an outlier, but I was very disappointed with their food. If I am ever in the area where this pizzeria is located, maybe I might stop in to get a slice to see if eating in person leads to a better experience.

It is lively, casual, and vibrant with a great food menu and a pretty good craft beer/cocktail selection. The kitchen turns out excellent stone-oven pizzas, with perfectly blistered yet airy crusts. In addition to the the pizzas, the menu features a mostly Italian-American comfort food selection, everything from an eggplant parm or chicken parm hero to tender fried calamari and basic appetizers as well as salads and various pasta dishes. The bar showcases a rotating craft beer selection alongside well mixed cocktails. The espresso martini is a favorite... We chose this spot for a family reunion, and they made us feel genuinely welcomed from the moment we walked in. The food was incredible. I had the Pork Chop Scarparo--perfectly cooked and full of amazing flavor. The pasta was spot‑on too and cooked just right. I had the garlic and oil side dish which was simple but delicious. There are plenty of great places in the area, but Antonios definitely deserves a spot on your list. It made our family gathering feel special, and the meal was unforgettable.

THE FOOD ----------------…read more+ Fried Calamari - Very crispy and as you would expect of any good fried calamari appetizer. Came with a small bowl of marinara. + Baked Clams Oreganata - LOTS of flavor. It was savory with the herb- and garlic-infused breadcrumb mixture and baked perfectly. + Chicken Marsala - 2 pieces of flattened and tender sauteed chicken breast with sliced mushrooms all around. Chicken was drowning in a suppppper delicious marsala wine sauce. Unfortunately, it was not served with any pasta to soak up the sauce. + Fruitti Di Mare - LOTS of delicious seafood - clams, mussels, calamari, shrimp - in marinara sauce. All of the seafood sat on a bed of spaghetti. + Kids' Spaghetti and Meatball - Solid spaghetti and meatball and what you would expect for a kid portion. + Kids' Chicken Parm with Ziti - DELICIOUS parm and sauce. One can argue that this was actually enough of a portion for an adult! + Nutella Pizza - Soooooo gooood. Super warm, thin, savory, a little sweet. Honestly, the best part of our meal. + Menu was traditional Italian and had a lotttttt of delicious foods that we wanted to try, but we only had so much space. THE SERVICE ------------------- + Food came out pretty quickly. - Waiters didn't give us much attention and when we were handed the bill, the waiter just kind of dropped it on the table and walked on, which was strange. THE SURROUNDINGS ------------------------------- + 2 adjacent dining rooms. Main dining room includes a bar and TVs, while the 2nd dining room is more spacious. = Entire bar area was filled with diners and folks watching college football. - Street parking only and can be challenging to find a good spot during weekend dinner hours. RANDOM OBSERVATIONS -------------------------------------- = Walked in with a party of 8 at 5:30 PM on an Autumn Saturday evening and were accommodated with a table immediately. = Was pretty crowded on a Saturday evening and there was a wait for some folks who arrived around 6-7 PM, but no wait before 6 PM.
