I love this sams club especially because they have a fuel center. I come here to stock up on my allergy meds at the best price and bulk seasonings. I can definitely get caught up in the prices here and want to add everything to my cart so beware of their great marketing lol. Joined a year ago never got a card do to them being out, shopped one more time and still didn't get a club card, went in before renewal to cancel membership and I see they charged me for another year! Called customer service after trying to get my card refunded and speaking with 3 untrained agents I still have the membership and the charge is still there, the worst customer service ever!!!!! The customer service here is absolutely atrocious. Both times I've gone here every employee has a bad attitude. We were getting ready to pay at the self checkout for several hundred dollars in groceries but we realized that they needed the physical card to pay and not apple pay. The card was in the car and we didn't want the people behind to wait so we asked if we can have the order suspended so when we came back with the card in 3 minutes we could pay. They said we don't suspend and immediately cancelled the order. Then an older black man with a long grey beard walks up and starts to give us attitude for not knowing they can suspend the order. He then put on an even more rude demeanor when I asked him why he had an attitude. He told me that there isn't a manager in the store when I asked for one and he wouldn't give me his name going so far as to turn around his name tag and walk off the front end. I worked in a grocery store for more than a decade and have never experienced such rudeness when trying to spend 400+ dollars at an establishment. I'll NEVER be back. read more

This review is based off of the Tire Deparment. I received wonderful customer service from Calph. Truly a gem to Sam's Club. The tires were put on fast and you can't beat Sam's tire program. I was discriminated against for being hearing impaired at a gas pump. The employee that was managing the gas pumps was wearing a mask. Evidently, when you speak to someone wearing a mask, they can't read your lips. She walked up and shut off my pump because my engine was on. Then walked away. No explanation and no warning because I couldn't read her lips, due to the fact she was wearing a mask. Then, to make a scene, she calls over a male associate to talk to me, and he told me that I wasn't hearing impaired, and I had to explain that no one, even if not hearing impaired, can read lip with a mask on. I'm writing the home office and will most likely seek legal against this because of the way this was handled. These two associates should be fired. Tony was managing an African American female that was thin was the one that shut off my pump. read more

Terribly disappointed with Sam's Club Midlothian. A young man arrived early for a job interview. Escorted to the cafeteria by an associate, he patiently waited for the manager. Later, the associate returned with news that Sam's were no longer hiring? No advance notice? No explanation by the manager?? Thinking on his feet he called the location & asked for the manager. He was told the "Manager will not be in until Monday"??? He's too kind hearted to post a review but I'm not. Not only am I posting about this unprofessional corporate behavior, I'm imploring my military retirees along with my airline retirees & law enforcement pilot associates to refrain from patronizing this establishment until Sam's Club at Midlothian apologizes to this young man for this unfair treatment, at the very minimum. Great Sam's Club location in Chesterfield! I personally prefer Costco over Sam's Club, but I sometime come here because they have some items that Costco doesn't sell. This place can be crowded at times, especially since its a small warehouse compared to the Costco near Chesterfield Towne Center. The parking lot is also small. Long lines as well, but you get great prices when you shop at a warehouse store like Sam's. read more

I have been a member of Sam's Club off and on for about 15 years...at least. I remember going there as a kid and getting samples when going on the weekend. For some reason it doesn't have as much appeal anymore and though there are some deals, it is really more about getting more in one big package rather than the same amount in multiple little packages. Maybe that's not the case, but it seems that way to me. Your selections are fairly limited, but there are good deals on the Sam's Club white label (also referred to as a private label). They always have neat furniture or patio stuff (during appropriate month) & their electronics department is pretty good. read more

The pharmacy is a joke! The staff is rude and inconsiderate and will look at you with pure disdain and act like I'm a problem just for picking up my prescription. Had a prescription that was only partially filled last month but was charged the full amount and their computers stated that. I've still not received my full prescription even after arguing to get a full prescription for this month and the pharmacist told me there was nothing she could do about it. I guess she figured I'd be fine with losing almost 1/2 my prescription. If I could give no stars I would. read more

While all the merchandise and products have always been good in the past and we like the store in general, this shopping experience was a 1. We have learned that you DO NOT PURCHASE LARGE ITEMS ONLINE FROM SAM"S CLUB! We looked for a good deal on a large screen TV. They didn't have the model available at the local store at that time so we ordered it online and had it shipped. It arrived damaged. No big deal. After calling and talking to customer service we were told we could ship it back or return it to the store. We decided to return it to the local store for a refund since it would be easier and faster. When we arrived at the store they had the same model in stock so we asked if we could exchange ours. We were told that because we had purchased it online with Sam's Club instead of in the store they would have to refund the online order instead of just exchanging them. We were told the refund was to take 3 to 5 business days. Inconvenient, but not a major issue, so we went ahead and did the refund and purchased the TV available in the store. TV worked great! Love the TV picture, no spiderwebs in the screen. That was on November 30, 2019. On December 6, 2019 when I hadn't received the refund I called customer service again. I was told that they hadn't "finalized" the payment yet but would go ahead and do that for me at that time and it would take another 3 to 5 business days! (STRIKE ONE!) I asked if there was a way it could be processed sooner since I had already waited 5 business days and was told that we could take the Invoice Number to my bank and that they should be able to process the payment faster. (STRIKE TWO!) It is now December 17, 2019. Twelve business days have elapsed since we returned the TV. No Payment has been received (STRIKE THREE!) We waited over three times the minimum time and over twice the maximum time AND WE STILL DO NOT HAVE THE MONEY THAT WAS PROMISED TO US! I don't mind paying for something but when the store we purchase from does not live up to their agreements as stated, we think others should know and be warned. Moral of this story - don't buy large expensive items online from Sam's Club! read more

Almost all the times I go the workers forgets to scan items and when about to exit the store they send you back saying it's your fault and so their for I had to stand in a long line to get one watermelon scanned again and the line to was long and then wait another long line to leave the store. read more

I would like to start off by saying that I am disgusted for what I am about to say. A friend of mine applied for a position at this Sam's Club. He was called in for an interview, scheduled it, and arrived early for the interview. He was told to wait at the cafe for the hiring manager to come and get him. A few minutes went by and the person that asked him to wait came back and told him that they were no longer hiring. My friend is an African American and has his hair in locs. I know that this was a case of racism and judging a book by its cover. I am a white man and I find it utterly disgusting that with everything going on in the world, and media blowing up such cases, that the manager would even do something like this so effortlessly. As if nothing was going to be said or done. They couldn't even have the decency to even speak with the man. I am going to contact the corporate office as well as contact the local news station because this story must be told and the parties involved must be handled. read more

Between this Sams Club and the one off Broad St., the one on Broad St. has far better customer services and is able to handle rush hour crowds more effectively. My rating for this Sam's Club is two stars due to an experience I encountered with a cashier last week. During that morning, I came into the store, knew what I wanted, put it in my basket then headed for checkout. When I got to the checkout line, there was a person in front of me, so while waiting for that person to pay for their items, I found a large box that could hold all of my items. I spent my time neatly organizing the items so they could fit in the box and be easy for the cashier to scan without her having to pull any of the items out for individual scanning. So what happens when I place the box full of groceries on the conveyer belt? This idiot takes all of my items out of the box one by one, places them in my basket one by one and puts my box underneath the basket. She then proceeded to give me the "you're gonna have to box that back up yourself playa" look while attending to the next customer. I stood there for a moment, patiently waitng for the cameras to come out because I was being punked. But sadly, no cameras came out of nowhere that day. This is just one of many concerning customer service related incidents I encountered while at this Sam's Club. TWO STARS. read more

Check your receipt closely every time if you use click and pull, ordering on line. You order things at one price and you are charged a higher price. It has happened on my last three orders. This time they have done another bait and switch on instant savings due to end on July 17 2016. I always buy the ICEE flavor drinks, reg. price 10.98 with savings of 2.00 dollars off each case. I started to place my order and saved it in my cart to finish later. Since ypu can only buy three at the sale price, I asked my daughter to get three cases on her club account. Low and behold, the reg. price jumped up to 12.98 each. I have my cart saved on my computer proving they deliberately changed the price after posting a lower price. This is a great system for people who cannot get out to shop, IF THEY DID NOT USE DISHONEST PRACTCES. Like many people, I am on a fixed income and shop for sales, and its a few dollars for me each time, but imagine the thousands of dollars for them when they bait and switch prices over and over again. So if you continue to shop on line watch your receipts. read more
