I had previously given this location 4 stars, but I had to bump it up a star because of the flawless passport photo experience I had recently! When I asked if they took passport pictures, this employee put down a box of items he was carrying and was like, "Yeah, I can help you!" His name was Tisean, and he was so personable and accommodating. With his pleasant demeanor, he took several pics of me and we chatted and joked, while we chose the perfect photo! He went above and beyond the average employee and he was not only friendly, but he was efficient! I found out through our brief encounter, that he was on his way to lunch, but took a detour to help me first! Now that's great customer service! Kudos to Tisean! You rock! The other employees were also congenial and informative. I also picked up a few other things at the checkout counter, including these mini Krispy Kreme jelly beans! Treat yo' self! Since the acquisition of Walgreens, by the private equity group, I've found consistently that the drugs are not in stock and can take up to three days to be delivered. In the that a drug is not critical, this isn't a big problem, but often it is really important to get them in a timely manner. Walgreens is failing terribly in this regard. Due to this ongoing issue. This Walgreens has very friendly service. Unfortunately when I went in tonight the cashier had her mask completely off talking to a customer. The customer was attempting to keep distance and had her mask on. I almost left because I felt uncomfortable in the environment but got my 2 items and went to check out. The cashier was eating with her hands as I approached and thankfully did put a mask on but then proceeded to touch my items without washing her hands...and was just at her mouth. It really is a nice store. It is clean and the people who work there are extremely helpful. I come here more because of the Red Box which is on the outside. While here, I sometimes run into the Walgreen Drugstore. It is too bad the drug stores do not have a counter and fountain like they use too in the old days. I love this pharmacy & their staff! Our family couldn't use Walgreens for a year due to our insurance. Now that we can have prescriptions filled there i transferred back as fast as I could! The staff is polite, friendly and (when you're there as often as I am) they know you by name! I spent a year going to CVS & never had close to the same level of service. read more

Absolutely ridiculous! I came to get Covid testing for myself and my children as my youngest was exposed at school. Of course, they do not allow you to make appointments for multiple people at the same time- you always have to go in (on the website) and hope to get a spot and my children and myself were spaced out for appointment times. In the past when I've come to Walgreens and I was scheduled along with my children (on the schedule for the same day) to get tested, they have no problem getting our samples and getting the test done, unfortunately that location I usually go to did not have any testing slots available so I had to come to this location on Ridgefield Parkway. I asked the guy who came to the drive-through window if my children could get their tests done as well, explaining that my one of my children was scheduled to get tested only about 15 minutes later and then the other one was scheduled over two hours later due to the time slots available. At first he said that I could he could do two of us now, myself and the child who has an appointment shortly after mine, but he said that the one who has an appointment after four would have to wait because there couldn't be more than 15 minutes between appointment times or something along those lines. Then he only gave me one test strip and said that the other test would have to be done when I came back for my child's appointment time rather than me getting the two of us who had to close appointment times together despite the fact that he said there couldn't be more than X amount of time between testing of the appointment times. How does that even make sense!?!? Wth????? I just took my test and now I have to sit in the parking lot and wait for 7 minutes for my daughters testing time to get hers done and supposedly my other child's testing done as well, although he contradicted himself and said that they couldn't do the tests too far from the time they're scheduled?!?! Recently I have began to frequent Walgreens again. Now they are accept my prescription insurance (again) I can switch my prescriptions back here. Yay! Went in yesterday for a flu shot. Made an appointment online and was running about 10 minutes late from the gym. I called the pharmacy, and they said it was no problem. I got there, bought some medicine I needed and waited to get called back for my shot. I went into a private room, which was nice, I mean I was getting a shot in the arm, but it was nice to not be in the middle of the store. Britton, the pharmacist, was very nice and answered my questions. I am excited to use this Walgreens, its close to home, has a Redbox and now takes Express Scripts again. All in all a win win for me! read more
