The gentleman that assisted us immediately found a couple candles, which would have been enough, but he also brought us to a table in which they had a new scent. The scent was perfect. They had not yet named it so they were nice enough to print us a custom label. There was also a young man there starting his own line of body butters and scrubs, TMOORE CREATIONS. It was not difficult to support this young entrepreneur as there were a few different scents and we ended up getting the cotton candy scrub. We also made sure to scan their QR to keep updated because the entire experience was great. Oh and I even found out they do candle making parties. If you are looking for a way to get people together for a custome event, think of this.

The bar was previously set and unfortunately Wick & Sip didn't fully meet it. More scent variety would have been great. It was also nearly impossible to smell the fragrances from the samples, so you had to reference the full supply bottles to get a worthwhile whiff. Luckily my class was relatively small, but even so, getting the chance to smell certain scents was cumbersome once they were claimed by others (again, you had to use the full bottles because the smaller samples were too faint). I didn't mind the selection of drinks, but please keep in mind that they come with the purchase so don't expect huge portions. Also, both times, the gentleman poured noticeably larger amounts for my guest compared to mine. No big deal given that these aren't top shelf drinks, but it was just weird and seemed intentional. It's downtown so parking can be frustrating, but fortunately I went at the right time and managed to park in front of the establishment. I would definitely go again if invited by someone, but I would first consider other similar businesses if it's an outing that I plan myself or just feel like making candles as a solo activity.

A lot of their stuff makes incredible stocking stuffers (like their beaded earrings). The energy is so wholesome and welcoming, and the owner is super sweet and does a great job curating the shop's offerings. I found myself in need of last-minute Christmas presents this past weekend, so I popped in. As I was about to check out, in a moment of pure embarrassment, a residual hacking fit from the plague I acquired around Thanksgiving started and of course I didn't have water with me. She referred me to cans of seltzer she had on the back table, which calmed it immediately. Thank you again so much. I repaid her by spending over $100 on goods haha. I really love her shop and I hope it continues to thrive for many years to come!

My boyfriend and I stopped in during the Watermelon Festival, which also fell on tax-free weekend. He asked me for a T-shirt of a cat reading a book for his birthday. When I checked out, I noticed they charged tax, so I asked about it knowing that TF applied to all clothing items in the state under $100 a piece. While they were hesitant at first and didn't think it applied to them (it does), they asked the owner, and he was willing to remove the tax, which I thought was very nice. I love their coffeeshop (now named Keepsake Coffee Co.), and their retail shop seems like a great spot to find future gifts as well.
