We paid, and were given order number: 873. There wasn't enough chicken prepared to fill our order, so they told us it would be 6 minutes for the next batch. Well, that batch came and they immediately started filling orders that came in after we had placed our order. 881... 882...883... 890! They filled a half-dozen or more orders before our order number was even started. Then, as they began filling our order they were out of chicken (breasts) again! We continued waiting, and after 20 minutes without an update, I asked how much longer is this going to take? Answer: another 15 minutes or so!!! I get it: Mistakes happen. What matters is how they are recovered from, and Royal Farms staff did nothing to try to make it right. We weren't offered substitution options. We weren't offered a complimentary fountain drink while we wait. We weren't even offered an apology for the mis-ordering of order fulfillment. The attitude seemed to be, "We have your money; you'll get your order when we give it to you." It took nearly an hour to get our order, from the time we paid until the time it was handed to us. This is unacceptable. We will never order chicken from this location of Royal Farms again. Postscript: They placed our hot, steaming, crispy chicken in two separate sealed zip-locked plastic bags. During the 10-minute drive home that steam managed to turn that crispy, crunchy breading into a slimy, goopy, slippery mess. Thanks again, Royal Farms! Nope; never again!

No ice available and small selection of refreshments. While pumping gas, the odor of urine near the pump was overwhelming. The pumps appear to be very old equipment based on similar stations in the area. Unfortunate because I use Shell gas all over the country and with rare exception they are generally in very good condition. This one needs a visit from corporate.

If you don't want to deal with customers then maybe you need ro rethink your priorities and get other employment. Next I get back outside and the same customer was saying how he was having a hard time getting gas because she was trying to let him inside the store to pay for gas and he was paying for his car and a Uhaul truck. I had just finished up eating nearby and found myself in need of some follow up...no, really, I just wanted to stop here. Getting here was a bit confusing. Mostly because I really couldn't see this Sheetz clearly from the main road. I actually commend them on this. It is kind of hidden behind all the trees, like tucked in there so that you kind of feel shielded from the commotion nearby. After finally traversing the maze to get here, I was able to park. This Sheetz gives off the mid 2000s builds they had going on. Where the store is in a corner and the gas pump island is in kind of a ell shape. Great for the time, but really didn't age well. The lot can get congested at times, but it is still usable. Inside, your typical setup. Registers at the front, MTO area to the right of that, snacks and drinks everywhere else. I used the facilities here and made sure to grab an item from behind the counter before heading outside. The shape of the building aided in me not getting wet as it started to downpour as soon as I walked outside. Bonus points for that.
