Very dissatisfied. Had good service before but not this time. We couldn't gat a straight answer or estimate from them. It started at $600 and change and then jumped to over $2100. We pulled it out and they told us that the starter wouldn't work so we had it towed. Thank goodness for AAA. We had to have it towed over 50 miles to a shop we trusted. They did the inspection we asked Sam's to do and found the starter working fine. Sam's told us that we had an exhaust leak, the other shop didn't find that but the damage was done already as Sam's broke a couple of exhaust manifold bolts off in the head and then tried unsuccessfully to extract them. Long story short, we'll never go there again. read more

I paid 2k for them to fix a transmission leak and gears a week after taking it home the leak is back and they refuse to fix saying it is not their responsibility. Don't come here. They will only rip you off. read more

I was very unhappy with this company ,they gave me a price of 650.00 because I bought my own parts ,But when I picked my car up the price double to 1200.00 , they put on lower control arms upper control arms ,Shock Absorbers, AND THEY MACHINE WAS DOWN TO DO THE FRONT END ALIMET ,So I had to take my Car some where else and pay again , And we told them Tuesday night when we dropped off the car ,we had to have they car back before. 5 o'clock because it need to be in some where else , Will at 5 they finished the car and it never made it to the next shop ,and we still can't get it in to that shop . There was NO Customer Service there ,They really 'need to refund us some or money back ,DONT TAKE YOUR CAR THEY. Took Or car down to firerstone and they would not touch the car they said Sam's work was bad ,they said we should have it towed home ,it was that bad ,That car us to run great , Now we or taking them to court ,I will get my money back ,,So Please take your car some where else like -, THEY HAVE NO CUSTOMER SERVICE ,IAM ALL ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE YOU DO WHAT EVER YOU NEED TO DO TO MAKE THAT CUSTOMER HAPPY . read more

In 2010 my grandparent bought me a car as a graduate present and the check engine light came on. 4 or 5 shops later who couldn't figure it out I found myself in the little auto shop by my house. A couple hours later they knew what was wrong and had a solution to fix it. 10 years later they're still taking care of my friends and family while I live out of state. I'll never go anywhere else. Derek and Daniel both are super helpful, honest and knowledgeable! In 2014 I bought a new vehicle and the brakes were squealing only in reverse. Took it to the dealership and they wanted $600 to clean the breaks (a week after I bought it from them) took it to sams and 5 minutes later they found the little pebble and removed it for $0. Thses guys are the best and modt honest guys I have ever dealt with.I have been going to them for at least 3 years. Always happy with there work and or advice. Today I took my rv to have it checked as I live in Washington State.. They checked all my batteries all of my tires all my fluids and only found the one tire will slow on pressure and recommended that I go to see Roberts Tire Sales on power Street who interns found that I had a bad stem which could have caused me a lot of grief if I'd had a flat going back to Washington by myself and on top of that Robertson immediately got me in put a new stem in my tire and charge me nothing so I'm very pleased and think these guys deserves any business you can send to them thank you guys read more

IF I COULD GIVE THEM 0 OR NEGATIVE STARS I WOULD. I took my jeep in to have them look at the transmission. I was having a gear slip in reverse and knew it was the transmission. They called the next day and said it most likely wasn't the transmission and it was a broken motor mount and sagging transmission mount. The explanation made sense so I had them replace all of the mounts. They called the next day and said the work had been finished but it didn't fix my issue. What do you mean it didn't fix my issue? That is your job to fix cars yet the work you did, didn't fix it. $332 later and the issue isn't fixed. He then said well it has to be the transmission. Well no kidding that is why I brought it in. I told them to put it back together and I would come get it. I went and paid and picked it up and when I went to drive off it wouldn't even go into 2nd gear. Lucky I was only 200 yards down the road so I turned around and went back. While waiting for them I noticed that the shift boot was installed incorrectly and was preventing my gear shift from going into second gear. I told them to take out the screws for the boot and was finally able to leave. I could have guessed at what it was and did the same thing they did. Then to install the shift boot incorrect.... What kind of crappy work do they do? TAKE IT FROM ME NEVER TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. PAID FOR WORK THAT DIDN'T EVEN NEED TO BE DONE!!!! Update: Big reveal I took it to a transmission shop and my reverse had a broken tooth. read more

Too bad I can't put a NEGATIVE star for this crappy place. I hate to be the one to write negatively but this place really sucks. Unless you like proselytizing with your car repair. OK, so my truck was having a few seperate problems..one was the A/C and it was like 115 degrees, and the other turned out to be the radiator. SOOO I get a friend to put freon in the A/C and that's that..I take it to this place to have a diagnostic test run on it so they can determine that the radiator is busted..WELL I am new around here and they offer me a ride home while they work on the problem..I am thinking gosh these guys are so nice, wow! Guess what? Next thing I know I am trapped in a car with some old guy asking me which passages of the bible I have memorized..WTF?? I tell the guy I am not a christian..now he's thinking -CHALLENGE!! Well next thing I know I am getting out of the car with some religious pamphlets and feeling like I need to take a shower. It was just creepy..I am sorry maybe there are some people out there who like to be told how and why they're belief system needs to change when they go to get their car repaired. Well finally I get a call from them saying "yep it's the radiator, we can't repair it so we'll have to get you a new one" I say ok what's that gonna run me..they say "$319.00" I hit the ceiling, said no let me call around and see if I can find something else..I just replaced the radiator in my old car for $60.00..I have NO LUCK! Sadly and reluctantly I call back and say ok do the work. Jesus freak picks me up and GOES OUT OF HIS WAY TO DRIVE BY HIS CHURCH on the way to the mechanic shop!! I am like totally pissed feel like I am getting robbed and now this guy thinks he's doing me a favor by talking about his religion which I am constantly changing the subject away from but he ignores me and continues to beat me over the head with....ANYWAYS we get to the shop, the guy goes "ok that'll be $394.00!" I LOST MY MIND..I got mad argued and explained I didn't bring that much money with me and now he was going to cut into my survival budget in a way that I wouldn't recover from. I am so mad looking at this guy with a jesus portrait behind him as he takes me to the cleaners. I give him all the money I have and he gives me the keys..he's stapling something to the receipt just before I snatch it off the counter and storm out..I look at the paper he stapled to it, and it's guess what?? BIBLE VERSES!! Oh thanks, is this the one about how the mechanic can lie about the price over the phone and rip you off for another hundred bucks? While visiting family in AJ for Thanksgiving, I needed to find a shop to do an oil change on my 35-foot Class A motor-home. I called to see if they could accommodate an RV of this size and if they could do the work that day, without an appointment. They told me it would be no problem and quoted me right around $55.00. I was in and out in right around an hour. They did the routine inspection, lubed the chassis and added a quart of transmission fluid. I had them use synthetic oil (about 4x the cost @ $5.00-6.00/qt) My total bill was right around $80.00 +tax. I can't complain! read more

took my car here to get oxygen sensors. They had the car for the full day and did not start the work until after calling me to pick it up. I was asked to follow to the shop, they changed them right in front of me (after the "mechanic" confessed he did not know where they go) then charged me labor for the whole day. This included the 20 minutes waiting in line to check out. Sam actually checked his watch then altered the bill to add 20 minutes of "labor time". I did not appreciate the religious pamphlets stapled to my receipt and having to listen to some self serving criminal jerk that is using his oh-so-religious front to cover the fact that he is ripping off everyone that goes in the place. I noticed the person in line in front of me had a similar overcharge problem, and not by just a few hundred dollars, either. What I had done costs one-third of what I was charged here, and all the other shops in town have real mechanics. Stay away for your own good, resident Evil lurks here. read more

My family used to go to Sams place for years,and the owner seems nice let my parents do payments, and they like that this is a Christian place but, every time we would get our car fixed about month later there would be something wrong with our vehicles again. I stopped getting my car fixed there after having many issues with my car, so did my brothers cause they were having the same problem. My parents finally realized something was going on after my dads van went to get fixed again and it was supposed to be fixed, and about a week later the van was acting out again, my dad called Sam and told him the van was acting up again and my dad called him out on how every time there vehicles go in to get fixed they get it back and a month later there is something wrong again. Sam got very defensive with my dad, and started yelling at him and being very rude. I would not take your vehicle here to get fixed. read more

Took my truck to sams for a simple water leak and have them check out my transmission. Got it back with the same water leak and a blown moter wound up costing me 3000.00 to fix.sams would not take responsibility for any of the damage. The damage that was done was a result of over reving the engine and spun a main bearing.would not trust them with a go cart. read more

Spent nearly 6k on an older car that is going to be restored. When the car arrived...it drove..by the time I got it back I had spent nearly 6k and the car cannot drive more than 2-4 miles without dying. To add insult to injury, after having the car nearly a month they told me it needed a new engine. They said it was knocking....Im pretty sure that knock existed before I spent the 6k!!!!!! I was told they would do me a favor and give me the engine at their cost...which they said was $3800. After checking with the manufacturer I found out the cost was $1800....the shop was going to charge me an a total of 5k to get the car on the road (total 11k...I could have replaced the entire engine initially for way less money ). When confronted with me discovering this price differance Ive never seen so much excuse making and back pedaling. After deciding I needed to retrieve the car, I had to have it towed to a new shop (it died two miles down the road) They looked at what I had been charged and laughed. This was a complete disaster and I would never recommend taking anything to this shop. If I could give negative stars I would. read more
