This is our first time here and we got a few items to try. My husband got the chicken fried steak, and it was so good according to him. We also got a side of biscuits and gravy and those were super yummy too. My only issue was with the stuffed french toast. My first order came out frozen in the middle! So we had another order done and that one was still a bit cold, but it was eatable. They were still really good though regardless of them being cold in the middle. First off thank you for working during these tough times! much appreciated. I ordered for pick up and once I got home to eat the pancakes I was craving for such a long time my pancakes were so mushy. It wasn't cooked all the way. I kept eating it (I don't like complaining about food) but I really got disgusted once I was done with the first pancake. Met my sisters here the other day. I ordered the chorizo burriro special. It was huge and came wirh 2 pancakes. I swapped out the beans for hash browns but, i think it would've been better with beans. I enjoyed my breakfast and would order it again. The pancakes were really good, too. One of my sisters had the Eggs Benedict which she says she always orders it here because it done perfectly. And sis #2 ordered a breakfast combo. She also enjoyed her meal. Breakfast is one of my favorite meals of the day and I was excited to try this spot since it's not far from the house. It used to be an old IHOP, and it still sort of looks like one with a little bit of a face lift and a different color scheme. We ordered the waffle breakfast sandwich, an order of biscuits and gravy and the two egg plate to share since we were pretty hungry. Once we ordered, the food came out pretty fast and we were ready to eat! Unfortunately, the food fell flat for us, mostly because it was really bland and or over salted. The waffle sandwich itself had two eggs and bacon, but it was more waffle than anything else. No cheese and no sauce to add some moisture/flavor, we just had to rely on the yolk of the egg which didn't help much. Halfway through we decided to deconstruct it and eat the ingredients on their own. The waffle itself was fluffy, but dousing it in butter + syrup definitely helped. Wouldn't order this again. Same goes for the biscuits and gravy. The bread was dry and the gravy was pretty flavorless...Similar conditions for the egg plate that came with potatoes that tasted like they were over cooked, under seasoned and someone decided to go REALLY heavy on the salt. The toast was fine, but we couldn't flag down our waitress for jam, so luckily the table next to us was nice enough to offer up their basket of condiments. The hostess/manager were super friendly, but for a breakfast fan, this place really missed the mark. If you do check in on the app, you get 20% off your bill, which we didn't realize until we left, but that was our fault! read more

This place was AWESOME and really hit the spot. We came here during the week around 9:15am so there was no wait but there were still plenty of people inside. I ordered the Nutella Pancakes (stress eating) and my husband got the breakfast special. The prices were great! $8.00 for the pancakes and $7.00 (approximate) for a whole breakfast - eggs, pancakes, bacon, hash browns - the works! I didn't sample anything but my husband tells me it was great. My Nutella pancakes were to DIE for. They were fluffy, they didn't skimp on Nutella and they were huge! I could eat less than half before I was stuffed. And our server came by a few times to check on us and refill my fresh, hot coffee. Not sure what this place is like on the weekends (it's small and has a small parking lot so it might get crazy) but we would totally come back here. We were happy campers! read more

This place used to be ihop, and its still the same concept. The food is better, specially the hash browns. The pancakes are also fluffier and tasty!! The chef knows how to make eggs. Hey Dennys cooks you need to come here and learn from this restaurant. Excellent hash browns as well as the best pancakes. Service was great and coffee was tasty. The wait to be seated was about 20 minutes, but every other breakfast spot will have similar waits. I see some people complain about prices, but I cannot think of another restaurant of similar quality being any cheaper. I recommend this spot. read more

I've been wanting to try Sammy's for awhile now and I finally got around to it. We got there a little late for a Sunday but we were still able to get seated immediately which was very nice. We got vanilla and iced coffee to drink and it was so good I meant to only take a sip but I couldn't stop drinking it! Then our food came out I got the waffles and fried chicken. Literally the best fried chicken I've ever had and the sauce that comes with it is amazing. The waffles were nice and fluffy and they have a variety of syrups you can use my favorite was the blueberry. My girlfriend got the taco salad and as you can see the presentation of it is 10/10. The salad itself she said was very delicious everything tasted fresh. The service was wonderful as well they were happy to help with anything we needed and were constantly checking on us. read more

The music playing outside was also playing inside, a fun rock'n roll playlist to set the mood up. We ended up here unexpectedly on a random weekday morning. Formerly an IHOP, Sammy's tours that they've been making pancakes under their roof since the 1950's. And it shows. Free of the IHOP label, they can do whatever they darn well please. That includes a filling weekday breakfast special (eggs, bacon, hash browns, and pancakes) for $6.99 and a tasty, tall stack of Nutella pancakes for just over $8.00. That's what we tried, and we were satisfied and so, so full about 40 minutes later. Mmmmm... Throw in a cup of coffee and our bill was under $20.00! I will definitely be back. I just moved into the area and had a craving for Pancakes one night. I found this place on Yelp and I'm glad I did! I ordered a short stack of 'Cakes and a couple of Scrambled Eggs and was happy that even though it was evening the cook made what I ordered perfectly! I've since been back several more times and have never been disappointed by the quality of the food or the service! I'm taking-off one star because they have a generous Yelp check-in offer (20% off your order) but to use it the Waitress has to make a new bill then have you sign a slip (even if you're paying with cash) before they'll give you the discount. (I know, I know) We shared the nutella crepes combo: 2 crepes with choice of banana slices or glazed stawberries, hash browns, eggs and 2 sausages. It was plenty for us to share.
