Absolutely love this cute little place and definitely recommend a stop if you're in the neighborhood. First of all, their coffee is fantastic - way better than many other coffee places and secondly, the service is the best I've encountered since moving up to WA. It doesn't matter which day or time you stop by or if it's the owner or another staff member working, they are the friendliest persons I've met up here. A button-cute little drive-up (not drive through) in a gas station parking lot at a very busy intersection, Sammamish Point Espresso offers a nice local alternative to corporate coffee. They use a small batch local roast, which is very chocolaty and a little bitter, making for excellent mochas and nut-flavored drinks. They also have cold blended drinks, but I opted out because the blender had a very unappetizing-looking bar towel in it. I'm not a fan of bar towel flavored drinks, generally. Food options are few- just Costco muffins and a few prepackaged cookies. I would recommend they up their game by partnering with a small local bakery (The London Bakery, perhaps?) Remember, it's possible to wrap leftover pastries and donate them to charity to offset the cost of food waste. Win-win-win! Like will all cafes and counter-service businesses, I highly recommend the employees come around to the other side of the counter and look at the place as the customer sees it. Is it clean? Is it organized? Is it appetizing? Does it welcome and invite? Good potential here, and good friendly service, but more needs to happen food-wise. More attention to details will win the discerning coffee crowd away from Mercury, Peet's and the Evil Green Mermaid! Recommended, with caveats. read more

The best vanilla latte I've ever had in my life is from this coffee spot. I was In Sammamish visiting my sister and decided to stop here for a quick latte. At the start of "Travels to Tacoma", I picked up Kristin and inquired about potential coffee resources in her area. After I nixed Starbucks, she remembered this little place. It's in a normal spot for a latte stand, the parking lot of a gas station, but it is a bit atypical in that there is no drive through. A few parking spaces and go in to order. They serve Caffe Vita, so that was the plus over the other options right there, and since we were on a rambling time schedule, it was nice they were close and relatively easy to access. The place inside is small, though, so if they have a peak time during am commutes or if the gas station itself is super busy, you may have difficulty snagging a spot or getting in line with ease. Refrigerator case of various waters and some other commonly found treats. Regular "happy hours" and other specials, (like with the purchase of 10 gals gas, etc) means you will likely find a cheaper price not only off their regular prices here, but of any other quick coffee place nearby. I do not travel to this corner of town very often, but when I do again, I'll remember Sammamish Point! read more

I'm shocked this place has no reviews. There's always a ton of people inside in the morning. What strikes me most about Samammish Point Espresso is not the quality of the coffee (which is superb, by the way; they use Caffe Vita coffee), but the consistency. I've been to this place 30-40 times now, and among the three different baristas, the coffee is always the same - the amount of flavoring, same temp, and same wonderful taste. A little perk? Gas up in the neighboring gas station and get any 20oz for $1.99. Can it get any better? Starbucks: eat your heart out. read more

I stumbled upon this little coffee stand when we were getting some gas at the Shell Station that it shares a parking lot with. They serve Caffe Vita with a smile! The coffee is delicious, and the service is fantastic. They have lots of fun, yummy drinks. Including an Irish White Mocha, and an Ultimate Mocha made with dark chocolate. The drinks are extremely reasonably priced, and even have $1 off in the afternoons, or if you get at least 10 gallons of gas at the Shell Station. All their drinks come with at least 2 shots of espresso. The coffee was so good, and the service so fantastic that we came back the next day! This place is super close to my apt, and close to our regular breakfast places of Blazing Bagels and Whole Foods, so I imagine we will become regulars here on the weekends. Make sure and grab a punch card so you can get some free drinks! read more

I never really write reviews but this place is amazing. I stopped in this morning on my way to work because I really needed some caffeine. I was actually going to go to the gas station across from this place and grab a Redbull because I don't drink a lot of coffee but since it was raining and seemed like weather for coffee drinking I walked over there instead. Now, I don't drink a lot of coffee because the bitter taste and because it makes me feel way too full and I can never even finish a small sized cup. I do however drink a lot of caffeine in the form of energy drinks... anyways the girl who works there (unfortunately I don't remember her name) is super nice and offered me a White chocolate mocha made with white coffee... yep.. white coffee. So I asked her what white coffee is, and I'm pretty sure she said something like it's coffee but it goes through a different brewing process or something I really don't remember.. anyways it turns out it's more caffeinated so I was down. This was literally the best latte I've ever had. I got a pretty small size but not the smallest size they had, like I said I never finished my coffee, but I finished this within 10 minutes. It wasn't better at all, the hazelnut was perfect, I don't feel like I wasted my money which I usually do when I order coffee. The place is super cute and they even have a little thing of dog biscuits for people bring dogs in, which I think is really thoughtful. I also offer a really really small size perhaps it's for kids, which I find really awesome because I take my four-year-old everywhere and I will definitely be coming back. read more

Every morning that I had north on lake sammamish I stop and get a coffee here. The staff is always friendly, coffee is the best around and they are always quick and on point with my drink. They even have hemp milk along with various other varieties. I would recommend this spot to anyone. read more

The hut is small, obviously older, but decently done inside, and most certainly "family friendly". For whatever reason, there's no drive-thru, as noted by others. On the plus side, the barista really knew her stuff and did a great job. She was pleasant, and seemed genuinely friendly. On the minus side, we found that their coffee left an oddly unpleasant aftertaste. It wasn't long before we gave up and threw away our drinks because of it - blech. Coffee is a matter of personal taste, and obviously, some people like what they serve, so you might want to give this stand a try.
