I really appreciate family owned businesses, and try to frequent non-"box" stores whenever possible. I felt the customer service was genuine & superior to other stores, which matters when you are spending a lot of money on an item that will not only be part of your everyday life, but may essentially improve it! This is also important if you might need to return or exchange an item, which is a pain, of course, & something ppl sometimes don't think about w/an essential... James also gave us thorough, patient advice on how to care for our mattress, and Felipe, who assisted with scheduling the delivery and a last minute purchase of a frame was so kind and professional! Thank you both! And now, this review is getting crazy long, and if you've read this far, you already know that you will sleep better if you check out this place!

My day started off quite difficult, I had gone to three other mattress stores in old town, and none of them could work with my $1,100 budget. I know that things are expensive these days, but it seemed to me that my budget was substantial. Not only this, but these other stores couldnt get me a mattress in under six weeks, which seemed just as bananas. I was about to give up when I decided to stop by the Mattress Store on Lake Ave. When I walked in, I was greeted by the incredible Joshua, and he turned my day around immediately. After explaining my situation, he assured me that he had multiple options for me, and the mattress could be delivered in a matter of days, not weeks. I breathed my first deep breath in hours. Thank you, Joshua! He helped me decide on a new mattress in my budget, and he was truly knowledgeable about each product. I have family who works in the furniture industry, so when I asked about the quality of the mattress in those industry terms, he was able to respond to my questions knowledgably and with the professionalism I did not find at those other stores. When my mattress was delivered a few days later, the team brought it in my new apartment and set it down right where it needed to be. This team was also kind and professional. I will be forever grateful to Jonathan and the team at the Mattress Store for their help, their incredible collection of mattresses, and for helping turn my day around that Friday afternoon. THANK YOU!

From the moment we walked in, Joshua completely changed what could have been a stressful purchase into something smooth, easy, and actually enjoyable. What really stood out to me is that we didn't even originally plan to come to this location. We had visited another mattress store first, but after calling and speaking with Joshua on the phone, we immediately felt a difference. The way he spoke to us, how patient, kind, and genuinely helpful he was, made us leave the other store and come straight to him. That alone says everything about his level of customer service. In person, he was even better. He took the time to really understand what we were looking for without ever making us feel rushed or pressured. He explained everything in such a clear and informative way, breaking down the differences between mattresses, bases, and features so we could actually make a confident decision. You can tell he truly knows his stuff and cares about helping people, not just making a sale. Joshua was incredibly kind, professional, and attentive the entire time. He made the whole process feel effortless, which is rare when making a big purchase like a mattress. We walked out feeling happy, confident, and honestly grateful that we ended up working with him. If you're thinking about buying a mattress, I highly recommend coming here and asking for Joshua. He made our experience unforgettable, and I wouldn't go to anyone else. Oh and did i mention what a BOMB deal we got!! HE IS THE BEST!

At this point in her search, I just wanted her to find the right mattress because she was having back issues. We walked into Mattress City and met Paul and he was absolutely what we needed. He is so nice, intelligent, and knowledgable about mattresses. My favorite part - he spoke to my mom like a person and not a dollar. He let us try (pretty much) all the mattresses, was super patient, explained the differences based on her need, and didn't make us feel like something had to be bought right then and there. It was completely different from places like Macy's. I think we were with him for about 45 minutes and after talking with him, my mom got her new mattress. It was delivered, she loves it, and she is sleeping nicely! Paul was wonderful and I was so glad we found him. I'm really thankful that we got to work with him because he gave us a solution that my mom needed and she is thrilled. I don't need a mattress now, but whenever I do I will 10000000% be going to Paul. Paul, if you're reading this, thank you over and over again for helping my mom. I appreciate you so much!

Based on the favorable reviews I saw, we made our way up to Montrose to Mattress Depot. We wondered in and were warmly greeted by Adis. I explained my situation and said that I needed a firm and supportive mattress. He took us to a few beds to try. We even tried the expensive Tempur-pedic mattress. That didn't work for me as it was too soft. We ended up between two more traditional styles and I ended up with the Airloom. Adis was very patient and explained the pros and cons of each mattress for us. I didn't feel rushed or pressured. In the end, we made up our own minds and feel we got the best one for us. He was able to work with us a little on the price and we made our purchase. He told us a week to 10 days for delivery and it was exactly that. We had the mattress delivered this morning and the delivery guys were great. They even fixed a broken bit on our frame. I have to say that the new mattress is so great. We are loving it. I highly recommend Adis and Mattress depot!

We decided to invest in a high-quality mattress through Mattress Firm because we were assured the…read moreprocess would be simple and customer-friendly. At the time of purchase, we were told that if we were not comfortable, we could switch the mattress within four months with no issue. After about a month, I realized the mattress simply was not the right fit for me. The bed itself isn't necessarily bad -- it's just not comfortable for my needs, and I wanted to take advantage of the switch program as promised. Unfortunately, this is where the experience became extremely frustrating. We were informed that a switch fee must be processed through Synchrony Bank, and we have been completely unable to access our account due to "verification" requirements. We have submitted all requested documentation, yet it has now been over three weeks with no resolution. During this time, we have called daily, only to be told repeatedly to "wait another week." Mattress Firm employees have been polite, but they have not been able to assist, leaving us stuck in the middle with no clear answers. At this point, what was supposed to be a straightforward comfort guarantee has turned into a stressful and exhausting experience. We are concerned that this delay may push us beyond the four-month window, which feels unfair and unsettling. We have been patient and respectful throughout this process, but the lack of communication and progress has been extremely disappointing. We do want to escalate the situation at this point. Waiting almost over two months is a bit ridiculous. As far as improvements go, they need to tell the client that there's a chance that these things may happen down the line not oh yeah it's a smooth transition. You can just come in and switch.
