As someone who has a big surgery ahead and needs to find a recliner, I needed to get the best price and on time. I thought it was important to share my experience with this store, especially with Zachary. Before finding their store, I called 22 retailers. Zachary worked with me patiently, treated me like a human, not cash, and cared about my health, situation, and needs. He gave me the best price among 22 other retailers/shops that I called. Their business was well organized, cooperative, and caring, and everything went smoothly. I not only have the recliner I want ordered custom-made at the best price I could get, but I also have the exact recliner I need at a very reasonable price, on time for rent (the color they have in market does not match my home, and it is an expensive recliner to purchase just in any color). I was so pleased with the level of care that I asked Zachary to give me his business card. The reason was that I wanted to give his business card to my surgeon and other doctors. Because I do not want anyone in my situation go through what I did. Unfortunately, Google search did not bring their business to me when I searched for a recliner. I found them through the Golden website. That might be a marketing matter, but marketing is not what talks first when dealing with patients. But care, treating people like humans, honesty, and quality of work do. It truly hurt to see how some people treat patients in a vulnerable situation, especially women, as a way to get more profit than what they actually deserve. Recently, my husband and I found ourselves with the need to shop for a new bed. You see, for the past two years, he has been recovering from initially fractured vertebrae that eventually led to a diagnosis of multiple myeloma. We had placed a rented hospital bed in our bedroom along with other equipment to assist him in his recovery. And by all graces, he's doing much better now. Moving forward he'll still need an adjustable back and leg function for best rest and mobility, so I'll have the same thing or he'll hear about the inequity regularly and with some vigor. As for me, I've survived having spent the last two years sleeping on an inflatable mattress in the Living Room that I affectionately call "the balloon." It's a good height and size, but still a balloon. And my sleep is disrupted by the fact that I'm always aware that I could roll right off and onto the floor. Yeah, my back is killing me. We have had an eletropedic bed and mattress for 20 years. They last a twice as long as any other mattress because they are double sided. You flip them over and end to end regularly and they will wear evenly and for longer as they have two lifetimes in them. They are also extremely comfortable and natural materials with the latex foam. I came into the store today expecting it to be my first stop testing out recliner lift chairs...it ended up being my first and last stop lol. Kane was so kind, extremely professional and didn't pressure me in any way as I tested out chairs for a lengthy amount of time. He was very knowledgeable about the different types of chairs and listened to my needs, then showed me the chairs that he thought would be best. Needless to say he was spot on and one truly stood out...but I wanted it customized with massage and heat so I was worried I was going to be without a chair for 8 to 10 weeks as it would take that long to make. Kane made an arrangement for me to have a 'loaner' chair delivered that I could use for 8 to 10 weeks until my customized chair was delivered! I was absolutely blown away by this offer, it was just a white glove experience all the way around. I was expecting to have to go to three other stores but after finding the perfect chair and having the perfect customer experience I was relieved to have walked out knowing I'm going to have a fantastic chair within the week and the PERFECT customized chair within 10 weeks! If you need a mobility scooter, medical adjustable bed, mechanized recliner chairs; come see these guys! I found them when I'd lost my mobility scooter key while out in Little Tokyo and they were able to help me for a few bucks without any wait time. About a year later, i was having a problem with my scooter, which I'd gotten from a different company. My dad came with me and they were able to offer me an upgraded device at a reasonable price after trade in. Even as beat up, dirty, missing arm rests... Today, i had to bring it in because the ignition housing had shaken loose. Within 10 minutes, they had it secured and repaired at a very minimal fee. They really are a great place to go to. They were, even, forgiving when the cord to my corset, worn for back support, got hooked on my throttle and drove me backwards when i sat, causing tension to pull on the throttle. Lol read more

I live in Northern California and have been buying Electropedic latex mattresses from them for 20 years. I got the first one at a local store that went out of business and then found them in southern california. These are terrific supportive mattresses for back or stomach sleepers or if you have an adjustable bed. They are solid latex, one piece and have handles to make them easy to turn. The mattress sleeps cool too. Its not hot like memory foam. They deliver to northern california at least once a week. I decided I wanted to go firmer, and then changed my mind. No problem, they picked up the old and replace with another at no charge. They stand behind their warranty and are easy to talk to. I love their mattresses so much I donated one to a guest room at friend's Tahoe cabin so we could sleep on "our" bed when we are invited up. It turns out almost everyone likes this mattress better than the innerspring ones in the other bedrooms. I've looked around. You get what you pay for with latex mattresses. Other stores and sites have latex "sandwichs" with layers of different kinds of latex inside a zipped mattress cover. Then you can't put a handle on the mattress and you can't turn it or move it around and its just not as good. Really happy with my latex mattress and adjustable bed purchase. This is my second one. About 2 years ago I purchase the "high profile latex mattress". Yes I believe it is their most expensive. But what sold me is that it is 3 layers, reversible, individually separated. I know any mattress if treated well is meant to last a long time, but there was something about the idea that I can pull out one of the latex layers and replace as needed that really sold me. This makes for a truly customized mattress. There is a center core with two outer toppers. You can mix and match to desired firmness. Kane, the salesman has allot of knowledge for what can work as the best combination. There are many other mattresses to suit budgets and needs, some are latex and memory phone combos. But I'm really glad I went with the 100% latex. I also purchased the adjustable bed frames. My first mattress 2 years ago I got the electropedic "wall hugger" adjustable bed. It's main feature is exactly that, when you use the reclining device it stays against the wall and does not leave a big gap. Also it has an integrated back up battery in case there is a power outage. But this year, since I purchased a whole other " High profile latex mattress" for my second room I ended up going with a more affordable adjustable bed frame called "fleet-Z" . This does not have a wall hugger feature, nor a back up battery. But to be honest I prefer its design to my more expensive adjustable bed. It's light weight and easier to move around and has more room underneath for storing boxes. The lack of back up battery could be an issue, but I suppose it's easy to purchase a battery that will work in case of a power outage. So it's not really and issue and it is more affordable. So if budget is a concern, I would definitely splurge and get the "high profile latex mattress" mattress and save a few buck on the more affordable adjustable bed frame. Overall I am very pleased with their service, delivery was punctual and guys were polite and patient. They removed my old mattress and moved furniture and boxes. I've had my new mattress for over a month but did not want to review it until I slept on it for awhile. After working in the mattress industry I decided that latex was by far the best material for a mattress, the first reason is the excellent support it provides without sinking into it, secondly they last far longer than the traditional mattress. The trick is getting a latex mattress that is 100% natural and not a blended latex. After speaking with Lloyd and Kane extensively they convinced me that their mattresses were in fact, 100% natural talalay latex. They also had it at a better price than their competitors who were much less knowledgeable and unable to convince me that theirs was the quality I was looking for. I highly recommend Electropedic mattresses and their staff. They have shown me that they are honorable. Meanwhile I just love the mattress. I am a senior and have the normal aches and pains that go along with that, I can honestly say that I look forward to getting into that bed and I wake up with much less pain. I don't know how they have stayed in business as long as they have, the lack professionalism and lie to each other and their customers! They treat veterans and disabled horrible. When we were looking for a lift to put on the house because my husband who is a veteran and exposed to AO had become ill and unable to walk up and down stairs. I knew purchasing a lift was going to be expensive and when we saw their ad and they were a California company and local we automatically called them. Well Francisco who is an installer says he can't come out to see what we have but he will send someone, well the someone didn't know what he was doing, came out with no specs and was leading us down the rabbit whole. We called back and talked to Kane who did come out and told us what we needed to do, went back to his office wrote up a sales agreement which unbeknownst to me he did incorrectly and apparently told his boss I badgered him into doing so...... Not true I just told him my husband was a vet any vet discount greatly appreciated I didn't know until today that he miss calculated our agreement was done the end of July the 26th to be exact . That's when I paid him the first $5000 then two weeks later I get another phone call for another $5500 only to find out 4 days later that the company he normally does business with was 10 weeks behind, he would have known that if he was in more constant contact with them and myself as well. So now he has to do business with an out of state company and there goes the 4 week lead time as well as delivery and set up now this other co promises 4 weeks as well but it actually took 6 weeks and all contact between the co and myself was initiated by me , which Lloyd the owner accused me of being a bitchy old woman who just wanted her way, well you got $10000 plus of my money I have nothing I want to know what you are going to give me! So finally the lift is here on the 19th and they show up at about 2 in the afternoon to install but then Fransisco decides he doesn't know if they can install cause now we might need a wall , you couldn't tell us that 3-2 weeks ago you wait to the last minute to say something! So you get the install started on Thursday but stop cause you made plans for Friday, Saturday and Sunday I got it, but you say you will be back on Monday between 8:30-9 but you don't show up until almost 11 , 2 hours late because you have to by a ladder, then we find out by one of the worked this is only the 4th unit they have put in , they usually do stair lifts then your in and out and your welder is insultive and you don't finish the job so you have to come back a third day to finish the job. I'm very scared of the service I will be getting, I'm worried about the job itself , I would never recommend this company poor professionalism and lack of responsibility as we Funny Lloyd wouldn't know a Mexican if he saw one! And just so you know my ancestors are from Santa Rosa chihuahua, Mexico and Sinaloa Mexico. Don't try to degrade us I have a posse They I stalled the lift on September 26th of last year after 10 weeks of waiting, was promised a 4 week wait time, the lift never worked properly and they never honored their 100% satisfaction guaranteed, on November 21st of last year, 55 days of asking them to fix equipment , 32 times of my husband stuck in said lift, told Kane ponce Garcia to come get said lift and return funds , until today 9/4/2020 they have yet to collect said lift and return funds, I have hired a lawyer and turned them into CSLB as they work without a contractors license and their installers, sales person (Kane) are not qualified to sell or install. It saddens me to write this review. For 10 yrs I have been suffering which invisible illnesses which are hardly invisible. A friend of mine who also has some of my 'invisible illnesses' raved about Electropedic Adjustable bed. It's taken me about 6 yrs to even get out of bed and get to Burbank to test beds, as Kane who was extremely kind was aware, I was not in good shape. But he attempted to help me find the perfect bed so I didn't need to make an additional drive out again. It had to be organic hypoallergenic but then he wanted to add a topper and give me pillows that would defeat the bed being organic hypoallergenic and have all the things I'm allergic to removed. It made no sense. Still, very kind and accommodating, he fixed the order. So one of the conditions I have is mast cell activation disorder/mastocytosis, a connective tissue disorder and chronic pain condition just to make a few. When the bed was delivered I had tried to change the date because I was not ready to move in. It was already on their truck so I had no choice. Next day still not moved in, never even entered house, and I find out there's a major gas leak in bathroom. Due to my condition I am unable to go in house for several weeks up until a few days ago. So my first time trying the bed I had been waiting for and I was shocked. It was nothing like I tried in the showroom. When I called Kane explaining we just removed plastic, first time laying on it and my body feels broken and not supported as well as the rashes I developed from something included in the bed, I was shocked by his lack of compassion. It's a long term family run business, exceptions can be made all the time especially due to situations like mine. His first concern was that it was past the 10 days in which they would help find a better bed for me- well at this time that's not an option and I'm too nervous to use their facilities where they make the beds because just like a food allergy, being in the same facility can bring on my flares. After my mom talked to the owner he didn't offer much. As a reputable long running business with loyal customers, I truly believe they are capable of refunding one mattress that caused rashes, lack of support, breathing problems. My family is out a lot of money because this credible business cannot make a one time exception to someone who has basically been bedridden and in and out of the hospital. I would very much appreciate you refunding us for this purchase as you said it could be used for medical beds or something like that. With much gratitude. read more

I purchased two organic mattresses that are an unusual size (full Extra long) Side note: if you have never had the pleasure of laying in one and setting it to "zero gravity" you must do so! Second experience was when I decided that I wanted an organic mattress cover and was particular with what I had in mind. I've ordered 3 Electropedic beds by phone. First was in 1993 and it was shipped to Durham, NC. I LOVED my bed. Ordered a second one when I moved to Dallas in 1995 as the movers wrecked the first one. Here we are in 2008 and my bed is still as comfy as it was in the very beginning. Helped a California friend order the 3rd one for himself. I highly recommend the latex mattress. It holds up perfectly and never has sags or lumps. And it comes in several degrees of soft to firm. These folks are great to work with and as easy to talk with as your next door neighbor. Also, he was talking to others in the business while talking to a customer. He also focused on number of returns and making profit. The owner basically attacked my family member's character and tried to attack reputation as well which is slander.
