My wife and I actually bought our bedding system from Yong back in 2016, after retiring and moving to Laguna Woods, CA. We did our research and decided that Axel Bloom was exactly whet we wanted. Here it is, nearly seven years later, and I can say that the system is everything we'd hoped for, it's Yong's quality of personal service that deserves the real kudos. He and his wife Bonnie are the real deal. You can count on 100% provider integrity as well as a bedding system that is second to none. It's all about support, and while we've had no serious issues, it's good to feel like you're their only customer when the need arises. This year I needed to replace one of our wired remotes (I think they're all wireless now). Yong fielded my call promptly and I had a new replacement remote withing a couple of days. Just the way it's suppose to be! read more

When I recently moved from Los Angeles to Nashville, there was a different crew unloading and setting up in Nashville. No one knew anything about the electrical system of the Axel Bloom beds and we got a hold of Yong Lee. Yong put his installer on the phone and he talked us step by step through connecting all the wires. Both Yong and his installer were extremely helpful, patient and took a lot of time walking us through all the obstacles :-) The bed was bought 10 years ago and the service was as excellent as when we bought it. High praise the excellent customer service and let's not forget the bedding, best ever! read more

My wife did some research and located Axel Bloom on the internet. We contacted Yong and received enough information to make us feel good about their product. This is only the beginning of my experience. Yong was insistent on knowing the details of the construction of our RV and needed several measurements to custom make a split queen bed for us. He notified us when the bed was about to ship, and asked me to call him when it arrives so he can walk me through some of the finer points of the bed installation. It was obvious to me that Yong had a sincere interest in our satisfaction with his product. Thanks to him, I installed the beds without a hiccup. We have yet to sleep on the beds, but so far the service we have received has been outstanding. Thanks, Yong. read more

Amazing customer service! Always been happy with the adjustable system but when something went wrong 5 years later when my contractor moved the bed clumsily I contacted them and they were out the next day. They really care about their customers and I would have no hesitation in recommending them. read more

Fantastic product and amazing service. I was so lucky to find this company to put in a custom bed in our RV so we can live in it full time. Can't say enough about the care they showed us. It's the same product they put in million dollar rigs and treated us like we were the most important customers they had. read more

My dearest Lady Friend dragged me to Westwood more than a year ago just to look at the Axel Bloom beds. I was only humoring her with no intention of ever investing in such a definitive sleep system. But, I fell into a hypnotic trance upon first exposure to the support and comfort system and have not awakened from the trance-delirium of my luxuriant immersion ever since. Naps have become well-nigh obsolete now that this dual-motored, infinitely adjustable miracle bed reliably induces long and lovely stretches of untrammeled somnolence. Otherwise, words fail to express my delight and satisfaction: suffice it to say that I have received far and away more pleasure and restorative sleep than ever bargained for! Btw, the owner and wife are delightful, informative, caring and a pleasure to deal with, from sales through delivery and after care. read more

9 years agoI bought an Axelbloom adjustable bed . The experience was quite remarkable due to the amazing customer service. Yong and Bonnie were incredibly helpful and very knowledgeable. Since then I have had occasion to need service. Yong responded to my concerns immediately. My bed was repaired in less than 24 hours! The Axelbloom bed is the most comfortable bed I have ever experienced. I recommend it without reservation....and I can't say enough about the excellent service provided by Yong Lee! read more

The best bed system and mattress that money can buy! I've had it for the last 7 years and it's far better than other, more expensive beds and mattresses I've purchased before. It's well spent money, especially for people like me that had a lower back surgery. It's a life saver! read more

Fantastic, the experience was like time warp back to the days of personal service and pride of ownership. I have not had this experience in the last 20 years. There is a wide variety of choice of firmness and ample opportunity to try them all. Yong is extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of his products from production, materials, construction, etc. Service and follow up was perfect. I felt that I had been doing business with a reliable friend. The product is terrific!!!!! Jim Z read more

We purchased the Doppelflex MX2 in 2020. We had sold our big house and were going tiny --- our new home was a 5th wheel. I adjust my sleeping position multiple times each night. My husband sleeps on his stomach or side most of the night and stays flat. We contacted Axel Bloom looking for a short split queen adjustable bed. From the get-go, they have been amazing. Fantastic customer support! They guided us through selecting the product that would work best for our needs and provided additional insights on customization that would make it fit better in the RV (slightly narrower frame), make our lives easier (standard sized sheets we could find online), and provided tips and support for installation specific to RVs. We topped ours with Purple mattresses. The combination has been hands down the best sleep of our lives. I do stretches in bed semi-upright, shift to 0G as I'm dozing off, and then lay flat toward the early morning. We've had the bed base over two and half years, and the motors are still working seamlessly. We've reached out to Axel Bloom a couple times with questions since the original purchase. Yong has been responsive and helpful every time. We've had other adjustable frame beds in the past, but the Axel Bloom is the most versatile and highest quality by far. I went from being lucky to get 5 hours of restless sleep to regularly averaging a little over 7 hours of high-quality sleep. Obviously, the value of that in itself is priceless to me! But as we are also living in a tight space, the customization of the frame size also allowed for us to add night stands, have room to walk-around the bed, and raise the head and feet to make changing the sheets easy as easy pie. (If you have ever changed sheets in an RV, those statements will be more meaningful.) If you're looking for a custom bed for any configuration, I highly recommend working with AxelBloom.com. Thank you, Yong! read more

The BEST....just do it! The most important purchase in your life! Fantastic bed and great, easy no hassle customer service. No slime factor of 'sales'. THANK-YOU!!! read more

Invest in your sleep! This is how my husband and I think of our recent purchase from Axel Bloom. We have wasted too much money on beds that we've had to replace because one or both of us slept poorly on them. To echo everyone who has met him, Yong is an amazing customer service professional who happens to sell the Austrian sleep systems. He was so incredibly patient with us and worked out all sorts of options for our indecisive selves. This is a lot of money to spend on a bed and we wanted to feel absolutely certain before pulling the trigger and Yong wanted that for us as well - no buyer's remorse. He isn't there just to make a sale, he actually wants to improve your life by optimizing your sleep. We ended up with the perfect solution, customizations were made for us, and we could not be more pleased with our purchase. The install was sooner than promised, done professionally (really liked Yong's installer) and I've never slept better or woken up with less aches and pains in my life. Other things had to be sacrificed to make this purchase happen but I have no regrets, this was a wise investment in our well being and our marriage! read more

I bought an Axel Bloom bed a few years ago. I was happy with the buying experience, and have been happy with the bed. Then when I decided to lower the bed to make it easier for my dog to get up and down, I did not know how to proceed. I contacted Yong, and he and Reynato got the legs of the bed cut down and even reinstalled the rubber feet. They were both so nice. I recommend Axel Bloom not just for the quality of the beds, but also for the customer service. They will be there when you need them. read more

I'm a 48 year old guy and have a chronic back pain in my lumbar region. I have tried numerous mattresses and sleep systems and none helped my condition until I bought the Austroflex Systeme. First, I would like to comment on the exceptional service. Yong Lee is a former engineer and extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the Axel Bloom mattresses and adjustable beds. Yong thoroughly explained the features and functionality of each of the systems i was considering. Yong perfectly balances being very helpful while not being the least bit pushy. The post-purchase installation service was outstanding, timely and precise. Yong has high attention to detail and he is not happy unless his customer is happy. I strongly recommend Axel Bloom. read more

I was absolutely impressed by the professional presentation and demonstration offered by Mr. Yong Lee. He was both engaging and informative whilst guiding you to the product best suited for your needs. And the products truly speak for themselves. Quality and engineering that far surpassed all the otherwise fine sleep systems we had explored. You owe it to yourself to look into the Axel Bloom mattress systems. Far and away the best sleep I've had in years. Aches and pains I'd taken for granted have vanished, and I awaken refreshed and invigorated. I have had mine for a couple of months now and I really have only one regret. I wish I had found Yong and Bonnie, and the Axel Bloom system 10 years ago. Make that 20 years ago! read more

My wife and I needed an adjustable base RV bed and mattress to be at least as comfortable as our home sleep system. Success! We contacted Axel Bloom in Los Angeles after seeing an ad in an RV Magazine. Yong Lee and his wife Bonnie are the owners and it shows. Their knowledge and commitment to service is the best. Yong spent hours on the phone with us and was extremely patient and knowledgeable. Many people travel to the showroom, but we were not able to travel all the way across the country to do that. My advice is to tell Yong what you need and buy based on that. He was correct on every suggestion he made. Now, a year later, still no buyer's remorse, yes you get what you pay for. Next is customer support. Things sometimes break, such as when the control module to your bed gets caught in the slide out (should have positioned that better). Any way, after a call to the office, Bonnie overnighted a replacement to our resort location (after volunteering to call the RV resort office to determine the best way to ship the part to us!) and it got to Florida before we even arrived. Additionally, Bonnie then spent a significant amount of time patiently walking us through the set up of the replacement part. She was super helpful and went above and beyond... Vacation saved (and my back). Many thanks. read more

My wife and I have been a customer for the past few years of Alex Bloom and Yong. When we've had questions regarding the operation of our bed not only Yong assisted us over the phone but he would send one of his people out to help us if required. As I've said in the past, Alex Bloom and Yong, in our opinion, has the best of best beds made. They have the most comfortable beds that we've ever had with outstanding service. Yong is always available for any question that I may have. I've recommended Alex Bloom Bed's and Yong numerous times and continue to do so. Larry G. read more

LOVE OUR NEW BED!!! My husband and I recently purchased a bed from Axel Bloom...a queen DW800 mattress and Silverstar GT Suspension system. (We previously had a Sleep Number with dual controls, which provided a poor quality of sleep.) We bought this after our son, Nate, had purchased the Austroflex mattress from Axel Bloom 4 years ago and has raved about his great quality of sleep ever since! This convinced us to invest in our sleep and make the purchase for ourselves. After sleeping in our new bed, we see why Nate loves his bed and brags about having the best sleep of his life. Like his bed, our new bed is extraordinarily comfortable and was well worth the investment. While sleeping, we have no pressure points whatsoever, regardless of the position of sleep (front, back, side.) It is soft enough for comfort, but firm enough for proper support. The Silverstar Suspension system offers the ability to adjust the slats and their stiffness (very simple) on each 1/2 of the bed, so my husband and I can customize the firmness of each side of our bed to maximize individual comfort. WE ARE NOW GETTING THE BEST SLEEP OF OUR LIVES!!! As for customer service, Yong Lee was extremely helpful-- he answered every question promptly and thoroughly in a patient and low-pressure manner, helped to customize our purchase based on our body sizes and sleep preferences, and followed the order through its delivery and home set up. Thank you Yong Lee for your fantastic customer service!!!!! read more

We first purchased adjustable beds and mattress from Young and Betty. They were very helpful and we've been really pleased with the quality. We went back and purchased a custom bed frame after our remodel was finished. Young took a a lot of time to pick a veneer that matched our kitchen cabinets. He also modified dimensions to our liking. The bed turned out great and is a highlight of our new house. The quality and service offered are top notch. read more

We have purchased a couple of Axel Bloom beds over the years and they have been absolutely incredible. Apart from being the most comfortable beds we've ever owned they are fully adjustable and last for years. However, one of the things we most appreciated was the service provided by owners Yong and Bonnie. They go out of their way to explain things and accommodate clients' specific needs, as well as make whatever adjustments necessary. This also translates to an amazing service during installation. The only problem with their beds is the fact that our lives are a lot less productive right now since we sleep longer and don't feel like getting out of bed in the morning. But I guess there's always a price to pay. :) read more

I have chronic acid reflux to the point of sleeping in a recliner for years. Had looked at several adjustable beds, but none would fit in our motorhome and the mattresses weren't very comfy. Spotted their add in my motorhome magazine and we were visiting California so decided to stop in. Yong and wife were so helpful and spent so much time with us. We decided to buy, but he had to do a little adjusting on the frame for it to fit our motorhome. Excellent job, fit perfectly. Can now sleep in a bed without six pillows to prop me up. Mattress is the most comfortable I've ever slept on. Love the zero gravity positioning. Highly recommend. read more

Sure they're expensive. Yes, they're the most comfortable beds I have ever experienced. But owner Jong Lee is unique person who stands by his excellent product; friendly, outgoing, patient, and accommodating. We had an issue with a transformer that controls the bed motion on the unit purchased in 2014. I expected to ask Jong to send me a new one and that would be that. Not Jong. He immediately called me back and insisted on replacing it himself. Within three hours, he and his technician had driven from Westwood to Thousand Oaks and fixed it themselves. Really?! Who does that today? Wh We are very grateful and will take any opportunity to highly recommend Jong and Family. read more

My wife and I are Tempur-Pedic converts to Axel Bloom. We loved our Tempur-Pedic mattress but thought it was time for a change. After lots of research, we found our way to Axel Bloom. Very happy we did. Yong and Bonnie (the owner/operators) are brilliant. Such a lovely team to deal with, all the way from purchase through setup, and most importantly, after-sales support. Such an honest and caring merchant. Don't think twice about this place or their product. One bit of advice, do take your time in selecting your sleep system. Yong and Bonnie are happy to help. Wow. I just walked out of this store and feel enlightened. The owner is a straight shooter, and a natural born educator. It is truly refreshing and entertaining speaking to him; the kind of guy you'd feel lucky to be seated next to at a dinner party. This was the first stop on our search for a couch, but you quickly see that what is being offered here doesn't have much in the way of competition. I hope to be a (repeat) customer of his in the near future. read more

I bought an Axel Bloom bed a year ago. At the time I had ongoing back issues and when I got up in the morning (had a sleep number bed at the time), I was always bent over with back pain. First morning after the Axel Bloom bed was installed, no back pain. Thought that was a bit too soon to give credit to the bed so just thought it was a coincidence. I was totally wrong there. Since the installation of this bed system that has always been my experience. When I get up in the morning my back is great, I am not hunched over as I had been before and thought was my new "normal". I am just amazed that this bed change made such a huge difference in this back situation. This doesn't even get to the amazing service and sales information we got when we originally went to the store. And, stunningly, we were actually undersold, told we didn't need the upgrades that I was totally ready to go for. Plus we got such a thorough explanation of the technology of the bed (mathematical me loved that part, others may not). Don't forget to get their pillows. We took them home the day we purchased the bed and fell monumentally in love with them. I just can't say enough about this experience. The folks at the store are amazing, give you so much good information, don't pressure you or try to make you buy something and really, maybe they should, just cause it would be to your benefit. As I said, I have now had this bed for at least a year, and OMG I just thing I have died and gone to heaven. There are very few purchases I have made in my life that more than a year later, I can still feel giddy about. read more

So, for the past 9 months, my husband and I have been sleeping on the first version of the sleep number bed. As time has gone by, the bed required us to adjust the firmness of the bed on a day basis. Over the past few weeks, the firmness we set did not even last through the night. After sleeping on a "deflated balloon" for about two weeks, we took the suggestion from a very good friend and visited Axel Bloom in Westwood, CA. I called the store and spoke to Bonnie, who was very warm and told us to just come in and try the beds out. I gave her my name and told her that we would be there later that day. Upon entering, Bonnie welcomed me and my husband by first name. Then Yong came and told us about how they were expecting us all afternoon. My reason for mentioning all this is because, both Yong and Bonnie, really made us feel comfortable and special, not like just another customer. Yong gave us the tour and explanation about the slat systems and the mattresses. We tried a few out. Yong spend extra time with us adjusting the slats/mattresses to ensure we get the exact comfort level that we needed. We fell in love with it. Words cannot express the comfort level of being on the Axel Bloom beds verse being on any other bed. Yong and Bonnie worked very hard at putting together an unbeatable deal for us. Of course, the cost seems high at first, but after thinking about what we are paying for - a bed that will mostly last you a lifetime, $$$ saved on medical or chiropractor bills, and restful sleep through the night, it was an easy decision to move forward with the purchase. In the past, I have spent about $1,000 on a nice bed and box spring that began to sink in 2 years, even turning the mattresses did not really change/affect anything. The Axel Bloom beds will probably last 15+ years - without sinking! As for the experience of sleeping, for the first time in a long time, I was able to sleep through the entire night and wake up the next morning completely rested and refreshed! That itself is priceless! My husband and I also decided to go ahead and purchase the slat system that is motorized. Since both of us are on our feet all day, we love the feature of being able to elevate our legs (without a ton of pillows) and/or being able to prop up to watch TV/read in bed. No need to by a separate recliner! We also purchased the pillows. They are awesome! They contour to your head and neck perfectly! A must have! Delivery was very easy as well. Yong and a few of his workers came and put the bed together in no time. They were prompt, quick and clean! I would HIGHLY recommend anyone that is in the market to buy a bed to visit Axel Bloom. It will change your life! read more

We bought our beds 2007 and have never regretted it. The mattress DW800 Euro is unbeatable. Firm, yet not too firm, it allows a comfortable sleep, and together with the adjustable motorized bed frame it is the most beneficial sleeping solution available. Other reviewers have already mentioned the benefit of sleeping with the increased head part. My wife used also the foot increase regularly. After 7 years, one cannot see traces of use on the mattress. One other huge advantage is that the mattress is relatively light and not too thick. One can easily lift it for changing covers and sheets or to turn it over, if needed. And it comes with a washable cover! Extremely practical. The service provided by Yong and Bonnie is very personal. This is their life and to help their clients is their mission. Friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. read more

The bed frame I purchased from this store as expensive as it was is the worst I ever owned. As I write this I finished for the 5th time in a year trying to make it stop making noises by putting books, slippers, towels and whatever I can find level it off . I called the store twice. The first time I was told to look in their website for fixes. The second time after trying some of the fixes that were suggested and did not work I called the store again as the owner told me that it was not installed properly (even though they installed it) and that if I wanted them to take a look at it I would have to pay for the visit. I had it with this bed frame but before I go buy another one I thought I would warn other people about this particular bedframe and store . Poor product poor worse customer service read more

Was in need of a new bed. I've tried temperpedic, sleep number and no luck. I was open to experiment with a new brand. I was on the bed forums and came across the austoflex mattress and saw that axel bloom in Los Angeles was a retailer in the US. After reading lots of reviews I gave it a shot in the dark and bought one. I had read lots of positive reviews on Yong, the business owner and gave him a call. He was excellent in explaining all the models and features and gave me a clear idea of what I wanted. I had the mattress shipped to me in Illinois and shipping/delivery was arranged by Yong as he worked with my schedule to find the best time/day for delivery. I've been using this mattress for over a year now and I can say that I've never slept so good. It takes away all the pain in pressure points and allows for a comfortable sleep at any angle. Yes the bed will cost more but it's very high quality and high performance and will last for many years. Both the mattress and pillow have washable outer shells that zip on/off easily. My husband and are in our 60's. We both have arthritis & bad backs. About a year ago my father passed away so we "inherited" his 15-yr old Axelbloom Calif King bed. He took very good care of it and it was very clean. At first we were delighted by how great we felt in the mornings, but after only a month (or so) both of started having lots of new and unusual morning pain and stiffness. We're wondering if these beds have a lifespan and maybe ours has reached it. Nothing about that on their website. We may look into replacing 'cuz these really are reputed to be great beds! read more

We had been a long time (20+year) devotee of a Dux Bed and were satisfied with its general level of comfort but because of its traditional construction, it was not adjustable. My wife and I felt we needed a bed that had the ability to be multi purpose. In addition, I was experiencing a persistent morning cough, my internist said "nothing wrong" but try propping a couple of pillows under my upper body to elevate it slightly, the pillows moved around, sometimes it would help but most of the time the use of pillows was ineffective. So I set out trying to find a solution, and I did with Axel Bloom beds and its owners Yong and Bonita Lee. The first time we stepped into the store it was apparent that this was a very personal business. Yong explained the technology very thoroughly and we tried several of the bed/mechanism combinations. Very calm and competent but also with enthusiasm. The mattress itself was easily the equal of our top of the line Dux but with the infinite adjustability that several whisper quiet motors and a unique "box spring" can achieve. The combination of motorized positioning and the personally customizable mattress/box spring is unique in both its form and function, a truly elegant solution to a personalized bed. Yung and Bonita's customer service is really personal service and an equal to the quality of the product they sell, both in a class by themselves. Yong personally installed the bed in our home and carefully explained the wireless controls. He then gave us his card with his cell phone number on it,with the admonition of call me 24/7 if you have a question/concern, personal service doesn't get any better than that. If you are looking for the best, Axel Bloom could be the last stop on your search for the perfect bed, it was for us. Be Well! John PS. My cough has vanished! read more

I always thought that ads that said a bed changed their life were a lie, then I bought an Axel Bloom bed. After back surgery sleep was a war zone, every morning it would take me an hour to feel okay enough to get on with my day. A friend suggested Axel Bloom beds and I went to the store in Westwood and spoke with Yong and a great young woman named Desi, they spent 2 hours with me, moving mattresses around, and having me try different things. They were incredibly helpful, kind, knowledgable, interesting and not pushy. I waited a few months and finally couldn't take it anymore and went back to Axel Bloom. Once again they spent well over an hour making sure everything was perfect. They did not try to upsell me at all. I ordered the bed and Young came to my house with a technician to make sure everything was set up exactly right for me. I couldn't believe I woke up the next morning, I had 90% less pain and just got right up and into the shower. That was a month ago and I am an entirely new person. The only problem I can see with my new bed is I never want to get out of it! I can't thank Yong and Desi enough. The customer service and product are outstanding. I don't know that I have ever been so sure that I absolutely made the right purchase. I wish all shopping experiences were as fun and pleasant as my one at Axel Bloom. read more
