Norma is very nice and the products here look great. The problem is that they only have one installer and he is completely incompetent. I waited four months for my wallbed - an extra month due to some supposed flooding - and when Caesar arrived to install the bed for an extra $425, he did not have and refused to purchase an $18 stud finder to help locate a possible pipe inside the wall that he was terrified of hitting with a screw. I don't really understand how a wall screw can penetrate a copper pipe with no physical or auditory warning, but apparently Caesar doesn't trust his own instincts and the company employs nobody else with a higher level of skill. Apparently Caesar also doesn't know how to use a measuring tape to determine where a pipe could possibly be, as a simple measure from the corner of the wall to the showerhead on the opposite side would have solved this perplexing mystery. Instead of doing the right thing and figuring it out like a professional, screwing the bed in around the potential pipe area, or going to buy the stud finder to help him avoid the 1" pipe in the 6-foot wall, Caesar and the company demanded to take back the custom-made bed and refund my deposit, leaving me having wasted four months waiting for them, two hours arguing with a guy who is less capable than an average handyman, and with no wallbed after they guaranteed it would be installed today. If you are looking for professionalism, problem solving skills and the fundamental desire to make things right, you are simply not going to find those qualities here. I am dealing with dozens of companies getting my home back together after the fires, and I have not experienced this level of amateurism and blatant refusal to find an amicable solution. There is absolutely no reason the bed could not have been properly installed or that it had to be returned. The lack of common sense and logic is disturbing at best. Norma is nice, their products look good, and their prices are reasonable, but the likelihood you are actually going to get your bed on time and professionally installed seems to be zero - at least in my case. I cannot recommend Wallbeds n More and highly suggest you learn from my mistake and go elsewhere where they employ a competent installer - or two - who have the necessary skills and tools to do the job you paid them to do. read more

What a dream. I had a very uncomfortable couch bed and I didn't realize it until a very honest guest told me it was the worst night's sleep he never had so I knew I had to get a bed, but I didn't have much room because my guestroom is very small. I went to Wallbeds n More in Pasadena just down the street from my house. It was very expensive so I decided not to get it and I got another very uncomfortable bed. After a second complaint and my cat scratching the hell out of the couch bed, I decided it was time to invest in a nice bed. I saved my money, and I finally was able to get a chest bed. It looks like a nice chest, but it opens up into a beautiful memory foam queen size bed! Stephanie was amazing and helpful as was Norma. They put up with my two years of dillydallying and I'm so glad that I finally got it. My first guest said it was very comfortable. And it looks beautiful in my office/guestroom. read more

I found a similar bed online for half the price. We absolutely LOVE our new Murphy bed! It is exactly what we were looking for in our guest room/office. The desk space is just enough for a laptop and a bunch of books (and other junk that we keep on there), and what's nice is that we can leave everything on the desk and pull the bed down (as long as it is under a certain height). How convenient is that? The bed when closed looks really nice. When open, we have a great queen sized bed and a foam mattress that we also purchased from Wallbeds n More. It is super comfy and perfect for our guests! We had this unit installed which saved us a TON of time (and sweat, and probably some anger) and the customer service we received was second to none. There were a few issues upon installation that were handled quickly and professionally by the Wallbeds n More team. Recently purchased a Wallbed from this company , even though it seemed pricey at over $2000 , I don't regret having bought it. After delivery and Installation, I noticed how solid and ingenious it's all wood (oak!) construction is , and the perfect solution for a tight space. I was 100% satisfied with my experience at Wallbeds N More and have referred friends there. When I went in to get a Murphy bed for my study/guest room, it was too close to Thanksgiving to get a custom-ordered one in time. But I was able to buy a display model that met my needs to perfection! They installed it on my timeframe, once everything else (paint and carpet) had been completed. When the installers came that morning, they were polite, professional and quick. They had the whole thing installed in about an hour and a half. The bed looks lovely in the room, and my son and daughter-in-law said it was very comfortable and easy to use. The quality is great, and the service was perfect. Great place to get a wall bed in a hurry. You can find cheaper prices, for sure online, but they give you $200 off your first purchase, and save you the headache of having it moved into your house and putting it together--which I heard was a nightmare. Apparently people have lost fingers from putting Murphy beds together. I ordered the U DO IT because not only was it the most economical, but I can paint it the color I want and add mirrors to the front of it and make it look more Modern/Contemporary than the usual traditional Murphy Bed look. Wallbeds N More are actually franchises and the owners here in Pasadena are amazing! it's actually her store, but he helps. ;) i feel awful i cannot remember their names at this time, but the husband/wife team were both very patient in answering all of our questions and helped us find the perfect unit / solution for our space. delivery was actually earlier than expected, but everything was custom as ordered and arrived in perfect condition. make no mistake, these wallbeds can be expensive - they are real wood and meant to last. know that this isn't some cheap (name your favorite Swedish build it yourself co.) furniture you are buying. there are many styles to choose from, a wide palate of color and many of the units as separate pieces: so you might mix and match a night table for a taller shelf, or two drawer units, etc., the possibilities seem endless. hot tip: you can save yourself some money by buying during their once a year sale. send an email through their website and make an appt. to meet the owners and see the showroom. she'll tell ya when they sale is (i want to say April/May, but not positive on that...) and help you find the perfect bed for your home. WE love our mobile queen wall-bed. We live in a small bungalow in Pasadena. The wall-bed is utterly comfortable but when folded up for the day it looks like a well-made chest and we have the whole space of our little place to live in. Well-made is really the key here, though beautiful is important too. I would include a photo, but I'm not sure how. My brand new wall bed was delivered today. And I am overjoyed with it!! I selected the model that comes with a sofa so that my room transforms from a bedroom to a sitting room.
