Saltgrass Steakhouse in Branson, Missouri is a wonderful place to enjoy dinner with a couple, family, or group. The service is very professional, and the steaks are fabulous. I would like to emphasize the professionalism of Bobby, Laura, and Austin. It's a restaurant to enjoy and admire Lake Taney Como.

We went to this place while visiting Branson because we had a gift card for my daughter's birthday. I wouldn't expect it to be anything spectacular but the waitress made it better than spectacular and my daughter really enjoyed herself. Upon arriving, it was extreme cold and we want to wear about the park at the landing so that was crazy trying to figure out but they made sure we sit us in the warm spot once we were inside the restaurant. Very thankful for that. The restaurant wasn't overly packed, but everything we got from the service to the food was five stars. All the drinks we had and the appetizers in the food came out. It was very flavorful and the portions were very good size. I'm not usually a fan of fried vegetables, but I'd eat those fried women's and fried asparagus any day. They made my daughter's birthday extra special by singing, happy birthday and giving her free cheesecake and also giving her and her friends pitchers of Sprite because they kept asking for refills lol it was actually quite funny that the waitress went along with it. Overall, I would recommend this place and I will definitely be visiting again when I hit Branson .

Everything we tried here was so good. The only complaint I would have about the food is that the fries were not hot. The server was a little slow, however everything we had was good. They have plenty of seating inside and outside! We will for sure be eating at another one!

Everything was wonderful. Raina was the best waitress. Excellent service! Food was delicious!! Cooked to perfection!

This has been a favorite stopping spot on our Branson trips. Food as this time and all other times always good. We had the gulf steak and fried shrimp plate and ribeye steak and baked potato. All cooked to the way we like it. Our waitress was very nice and constantly checked on us. The restaurant over all was very comfy. This is always our Togo place in the landing

I had chicken fried chicken. The salad was great and tasty. The food was very good as well but not as hot as I prefer. KARLI was our server and she was great at keeping our drinks filled, clearing off used dishes and all around hospitality. Ask for her section.

The ambiance is one of rugged lodge and the menu gives the impression that you'll get exotic meats and fish prepared with an awe-inspiring uniqueness that you'll be looking forward to the next time you can visit. Unfortunately, it fell flatter than a carp. I ordered the fish tacos and couldn't have been more disappointed. The chips were bordering on stale, the "salsa" was actually store-bought Pace picante sauce. The fish, was just so-so and was NOT fresh. It had the rubbery hallmark of long-frozen fish over seasoned to hide the hint of "fishy" taste. The coleslaw was just store-bought shredded cabbage and the sour cream was Daisy. Not even an attempt at making a real crema or sauce. The chimichurri sauce was the only thing bringing a pleasant flavor to this dish. For $20, they do give 3 sizable tacos, but man are they forgettable. My wife got the Trout Almadine, and once again the fish wasn't fresh and the overwhelming almond crust and almond butter was trying to cover it up. Literally. The jalapeño corn bread was certainly a box of Jiffy Honey Cornbread mixed with minced jalapeños. We all loved it, but what can I say, Jiffy makes good cornbread... Overall, we left wishing we would've tried any of the other restaurants on this lively strip of Branson commercialism...but alas, we made a blunder. Pre-tip, we spent $96 on 2 entrees and 3 kid meals. No drinks, no apps, no joy. At least the service was fast and friendly.

I grabbed two waiters twice and each promised to bring the fixed portion entree and it didn't come for some time as detailed above. The employees were overwhelmed, even though we were there early and the dining room was only half-full. This location definitely didn't meet Tillman's high standards. In fact, I can't recall ever rating one of Tillman's restaurants three-stars like I did this one. The food was tasty, but the portion was minuscule. But, that was likely due to what the tour operator contracted for.

The poutine was fabulous. The fry coating was crisp and tasty and the gravy was full of flavor. The Reuben sandwich is outstanding! The way they cut that corned beef was nothing short of magic. An egg on there? What? I've never heard of such a thing, but yes please. The old fashions were smooth! Went with vanilla and loved the subtle flavors. Everyone was so nice and the atmosphere was a delightful mix of old school pub/English castle. All of it was just what I was hoping to find. Food off the beaten path that deserves a huge shout out. In a town of bland flavors, this place shines like a real gem!

My husband ordered his med rare, which probably came out more med and not enough pink for his liking. Correction on my part, I got the mahi mahi with parmesan grits and green beans and I didn't even need to look at my pictures to recall, it was that memorable of a meal. Being early January a parking spot nearby was an easy find, I imagine though finding one come spring will feel like a miracle. I'd love to stay at the attached hotel but found it's already booked a year out. Doesn't surprise me, the old English charm with its stone and dark wood is straight up story book.
