Today, I encountered chicken wings so offensively bad, so disrespectfully dry, so dramatically flavorless... that I'm convinced they were created out of pure hatred. Dry? These wings weren't dry -- they were ASHES with bones. I picked one up and swear it whispered, "please... let me go." Flavor? Nonexistent. Absent. Missing in action. Flavor filed a restraining order against these wings. Tasteless? Bro... these wings tasted like a broken promise. Like someone shouted "SEASONING!" across the room and nobody heard. And the price??? They charged me like these wings were raised on a private ranch, massaged daily, and read bedtime stories in three languages. But what I got tasted like they were cooked by someone who was actively beefing with chickens. I didn't just eat bad wings... I survived a culinary tragedy. A dramatic novela-level betrayal. I'm still waiting for the background music to kick in and someone to scream, "¡NOOOO, MARIO, NOOOOOO!" If these wings were a movie, they'd be rated F for "FAILURE." El Centro, be warned: Not all heroes wear capes... and not all wings deserve to exist. I understand this place never cared about customer service, but not serving horrible food like this . It's like they were old Wings from yesterday and got thrown into the fryer again today. Hey man, I work hard for my money and when we can we eat somewhere in town, but this was totally out of control as far as laziness and disregard for serving even a decent product

The table was grimy, sticky, and covered in bread crumbs. The menu I was handed also had bread crumbs throughout the pages. My hands kept getting dirtier and dirtier with every page I turned. The food was great! I ordered a Bellini (delicious!) Pronto Pasta: Spaghetti in Meat sauce with shrimp. The sauce was super tasty, but had no meat. And two of the nine shrimp were not deveined. That was disgusting. But when I told the server, her go to was to make excuses, "they come that way." Me, "you understand that's disgusting, right?" Her, "The shrimp are already prepared when we receive them out of the bag." So, no apologies. No accountability. Just mediocre service. The waitress herself was good, except for making excuses for the kitchen. Just tasted the Tiramisu. Dry. Very disappointing. This is one of the restaurants I used to dine to treat myself. We had a small calamari fritta, and the chicken cacciatore (inspired by Billy Joel's song Movin' Out) with an add on unlimited Caesar salad, requested dressing on the side. Calamari was good, crispy and hot. The Caesar salad dressing was excellent, just the right amount of lemon tang for a Caesar dressing, but the salad itself was mediocre. The lettuce was on the verge of wilted. I am not sure if we could have asked for more (unlimited?) but we didn't want anymore anyway. This is the first time have ever tried cacciatore so have no reference, but the dish seemed good. Assume the chicken is supposed to be cooked to the point of crispy? versus less cooked more juicy? Our server had to also function as hostess and must have had a lot of tables assigned to her, so service at times was a little slow but not bad. Probably would return, prices were decent.
