Outside - in the motel!
Michelle P.

Needed to eat - thought we had put in the wrong address, but not it's on the bottom floor of a motel - we were worried but went in - super cute place with indoor and outdoor seating, good food, and a super nice waitress - food was hot and tasted great, and beer on tap was great - happy we got hungry at the right time and found this place!

Wonderful pub off the beaten path with delicious food and great service! The menu appears to change seasonally and was very limited, but we had the tuna melt and clam chowder and both were delicious, with fresh tuna and clams. Would highly recommend

Lovely setting. Staff that is welcoming, friendly and funny. Food was very good the oyster sliders are giant! The fried oysters were also very good. Breaded, marinated mushrooms were delicious. A bit too much breading, but thinner breading would not be as tasty. We simply ate only a portion of the breading and were quite happy.

Garden salad with added salmon

Stopped by for lunch, sat outside on the patio as we had a dog with us. We ordered the tuna melt, fried oysters, fish and chips, salmon spread and garden salad with salmon. The tuna melt was pretty good, nice solid chunks of tuna. The fried oysters were delicious. Fish and chips special were using rockfish and it was meaty and fresh. The salmon spread with pita chips is to die for! The green salad with the added salmon with the house made balsamic vinaigrette was delicious. Excellent service, great atmosphere overlooking the water and boats.

We had oyster shooters & a tuna melt, as well as delicious gin & tonics. The service was excellent. This is such a cool location, with boats coming in right out the window. We've been here several times and it's always great.

A Local Treasure! Our service from the staff was not just top notch, they were genuinely kind. The food was excellent. While it costs a little more, it was well worth it. All fresh ingredients excellently prepared and presented. We were seated at a window seat with a view of an active charter fishing port full of cool looking boats and gear. One of the staff members noticed that I was trying to take a picture of the boats and suggested I go upstairs for an even better picture. This is just the kind of little out of the was place that I love and will be back to again and again.

My second time back here and the food is so so so good. My favorite is the Spinach Dip and I 100% recommend getting it here. It is so creamy and delicious. The service is always really good and they are consistently on top of it. This restaurant is located right in between the hotel, but inside you get a beautiful view of the ocean and boats. When the weather is nice, you can sit outside too!! Love this spot and it is right in Ilwaco

Good food but they were out of a lot by the time we got there. The fish and chips was spectacular. Service was good. Great view

This was our first time here, and we came for lunch on a Saturday. We ordered the House Smoked…read morePrime Rib Dip, and it was delicious! The meat was tender, the bread was fresh and soft, and the dip was so flavorful. The Caesar salad was perfect as well. There were several other dishes on the menu that caught our eye, so we're already looking forward to coming back and trying more next time. We also liked that they had TVs showing different football games.

Unfortunately - and it pains me to write this, but - the Lost Roo has lost its luster…read more Maybe they were having a bad night tonight. We arrived before 5:00 pm, and it took a while to even put an order in. Even though we were sitting in the bar and there were a LOT of servers/bussers/etc. We ordered the Mushroom burger, the Chicken Bacon Guac burger and the Prime Rib Dip. Let's start with the pros - the Chicken Bacon Guac burger was pretty good! But the Prime Rib Dip had something like shredded meat on it, not sliced meat. So, when you dipped it in the Au jus, chunks of meet fell into the Au jus. Be ready to fish them out with a fork! The Mushroom burger was an exceptionally thin burger. Our server asked how we wanted it cooked. But it didn't matter. A burger that thin was coming out well done, no matter what. It had mushrooms on it, but not many at all. And we ordered the Cajun Tater Tots. Tonight, it was just like someone cooked tater tots, then shook some seasoning on them, and maybe the lid fell off the seasoning? They were drenched in some kind of Cajun-adjacent spice. We had recently been telling visiting guests that the Lost Roo was the one consistent, reasonably priced restaurant on the peninsula. We're going to have to stop telling people that now. Sadly, it'll be a while before we go back.
