After 1hr and 45 minutes of waiting for our food, promises that the food is coming from the poor waitress, no food. The restaurant was emptying out. Mind you, this is for two plates of scrambled eggs, toast and home fries. This was the attitude directly from the owner to the waitress. The owner could have cared less. The worst treatment I've ever experienced from a breakfast joint. I'll never go again and would advise people to not go as well. 0 out of 10 rating. The waitress was apologetic and frankly embarrassed by the owner's attitude.

After visiting another nearby spot for food/baked goods we wanted to try a new to us coffee spot…read moreand this was nearby so worked perfectly. I will say they appear to have their baked goods as well as many different food options like sandwiches but my review is strictly for the coffee. Once you enter to the right is all the different seating with a good variety of tables and chairs but also some more comfy choices like couches. Quite a large space inside and a handful of tables outside to enjoy the nice weather. You order at the counter and then they have a spot further down where they'll call out your name for both food and drinks. They had a section on the menu called the MET Artistic Lattes which was their version of specialty flavored lattes. This caught our eyes. My wife went with the Falcon Pride (chocolate & white chocolate latte) and I went with the Vanilla Bean Dream (white chocolate & vanilla). Drink wise they were both pretty good! Didn't become a new favorite coffee spot but good enough we would return if we found ourselves in the area looking for coffee again. To have a real strong opinion I would need to return and try some of the food rather than just the coffee.

Stopped here to check out both the spice and tea selections, and was truly impressed at both!…read moreThere's an enormous wall of seasonings and salt, sugars, another section dedicated to ground up peppers with herbs located behind that, and then there's the many loose leaf teas too... it seems like you can smell and try whatever you want? If you're looking for something specific, they probably have it! Of note... Salts: alderwood smoked, bacon smoked, black lava, black truffle, celery, chocolate, Hawaiian red, garden mirepoix, lemon, lime, espresso, porcini... I don't know if it was a special for summer, but I picked up some dill pickle salt and it's been my go to for every onion ring I've eaten recently. Sugar: apple cinnamon crisp, bourbon black walnut, cardamom, chai, cranberry orange, dark cocoa, dragon fruit, key lime, lavender lemon, mango habanero, pineapple, rose, sweet onion... are you feeling inspired yet? Spice: amarillo, aleppo, ancho, chipotle, cayenne, habanero, jalapeno, New Mexican green, New Mexican red, paprika smoked/Spanish hot/Spanish sweet/Hungarian hot/Hungarian Sweet... your life probably needs the pizazz of these peppers! (SIDE NOTE: That's not even everything from those three categories. The options really are seemingly endless.) There's also kitchen accessories, infused oils, pastas, gifts, and more. And don't forget the tea bar: any tea (hot or iced) and any sugar they have, they can make you a drink! But, honestly, I'd ask the staff what some of their favorite combos are because they've got amazing recommendations. Cook? Know a cook? There's something here your pantry needs.

I like the interior: it has old, historic Maine building vibes (the exposed brick, the wooden floors, the large windows with accent shutters). I like the coffee (it's from a local roaster; shame on other coffee shops for not buying their beans from Maine businesses). I like the staff: I had A LOT of weird requests, and the person ringing me up was like, "yeah, we got you, girl" (not like that, but you get the point). I like the abundance of non-dairy creamer options. I like the very Maine themed lattes (like, The Golden Road? IYKYK) I like the very seasonal themed lattes. I like that they're dog friendly. I asked them if it was possible to get the Down East Maple Latte iced (with an extra shot) and additionally a healthy sprinkle of sea salt. It was the saltiest latte I've ever had in my life, but like, in a good way? It was a gentle amount of sweet, strong on the espresso flavor, and salty. I would absolutely come out of my way to WFM here!

It's kind of in the middle of nowhere and honestly, I was expecting a lobster shack. But we were pleasantly surprised that it was a very cool "throwback" kind of restaurant. Loved the ambiance. Our waiter brought over the entire menu on a big chalkboard! We ordered steamed clams for an appetizer. I got the fish tacos for dinner and my wife had the scallops au gratin. Everything was fantastic. Per my wife who has been eating steamed clams since she was 6 years, they were "fantastic." I loved the fish tacos....the fish was baked vs. fried and the scallops were wonderful. Cooked perfectly and succulent. My only complaint is that they are only open during the summer and from 4-8PM but we will definitely be back here when we can.

After ordering, one drink came and the other did not. I complained to the only one who would look my way and she said " they are working on it." I said no, they have already made a half dozen others. She reluctantly agreed to make one for me., but the drink we got wasn't even close to our ordered drink. While this was going on, the supervisor was ignoring everything except one employee who was apparently being graded. She never acknowledged that there was a crowd or even if anyone was there at all. They need a new manager who pays attention to business. I'm used to being ignored at Starbucks, but this was extremely poor My advice: Find another coffee shop because this one doesn't want our business.
