Good for a quick meal at RDU in the Southwest terminal. Several great options for a bowl and the chicken was decent. Fast, friendly service.

Service was quick, toppings were plentiful! A lot of food for 15.00! Feels like 3 servings worth!

I was actually pleasantly surprised by this Salsarita's in Terminal One. Terminal One has such limited food, so options are scarce. I got a bowl and the employees were friendly and efficient. I also appreciated that they had fountain soda, not just the bottles. The toppings looked fresh and everything tasted okay. It was fast and just what I needed before my flight. Overall not a bad option in Terminal One.

Bean... juice? Dripped everywhere. All over my uniform, my pants and left a puddle in the bag.

Located beside A5 in the airport, I ordered a veggie burrito. Their idea of veggies is just sliced peppers. For $12 I got some rice, beans, cilantro, tomatoes and cheese and a tiny spoonful of salsa in a tortilla. The liquid from the beans went absolutely everywhere. All of the salsa was in the middle so most of the burrito was severely dry in my mouth. There were no pop out flavors, no wow factor. It was a burrito I regretted ten minutes after ordering it.

Reasonable place for a quick meal at RDU Terminal 1. The employees are friendly and efficient. The set-up is similar to Chipotle. Choose your entree, protein, toppings, and sides. I opted for a chicken taco with chips and salsa. They piled the taco with ample selected toppings (corn salsa, cilantro, lettuce, etc.). The chips are crisp and seasoned. For the salsa you can pick the spice level. All the ingredients are fresh and tasty. It is a little pricy, but so are all the other restaurants at the airport. Our order was made quickly and we sat in the nearby dining area. Overall, Salsarita was a good option for a quick, nutritious meal.

Came here while waiting at the Raleigh airport. It was a good meal for the airport. A make your own bowl is always good. Lots of sides to add. The rice was a little crunchy. But the guac and extra tortilla side did not cost extra money so that was nice. Workers were kind. The bowl was filling and a fair price around $12. Overall if I was waiting in the airport again I would come here.

    Nachos were very filling

Excellent Nachos for an Airport. I rarely order 1 item and get full. Well these nachos did it for me. They were loaded. Options were limited in the terminal but the staff made my order quickly, made it look beautiful, and satisfied my hunger before my Southwest Flight home (that 0.5 Oz snack mix just doesn't cut it these days). Thanks Salsarita's!

Here is a chicken quesadilla for 9.79. Seriously this place sucks.

I would rather get hit in the head with a frying pan than eat the $25 quesadilla I got from here. Made my tummy churn so bad

Place sucks and staff is rude. They ask you for a tip as well and get upset when you don't give a tip.

The 1 woman working there didn't change her gloves between register and food prep. And the burrito contents were room temperature.

I usually rotate between the tacos, enchiladas, and molcajetes, and while the tacos themselves are just okay, the overall experience is solid. The fresh chips are easily some of the best I've had at a Mexican restaurant (warm and crisp). Add queso to those chips and it really seals the deal. They more than make up for the tacos being a bit underwhelming and are honestly reason enough to come back. This is a great neighborhood spot if you're looking for authentic flavors, generous portions, and excellent chips and dips (biggest downside is no liquor aka no margaritas). Not every dish is a knockout, but the highlights keep it comfortably in 4-star territory.

I was really one mayonnaise filled torta away from missing out on my favorite Mexican restaurant of Cary. The food is some of the freshest and most authentic in the area, and is consistently spot on. Forget heavy burritos or overly sauced enchiladas, this place is the real deal. When you come to Esmeralda Grill, you should really focus on the meat heavy dishes, whether it be via land or sea. There are so many different options to choose from, from both categories. When thinking seafood, expect the full fish. If you find yourself with the fresh grilled tilapia, you will receive a delicious whole fish that tastes as if it was caught that morning. It is such a fantastic option. I also appreciate the camarones a la diabla, or Diablo shrimp. The shrimp are plump and juicy, the spice of the dish is excites your taste buds and is a great dish. My favorite entrees are the land meat dishes though. El Trio Perfecto is my go-to order, it is grilled steak, chicken and pork all on one plate with rice, beans, salad, and tortillas. The Mexican spice rub on the meats is absolutely mouth watering, the flavors are so bold and tasty. The meats are all cooked to perfection and the portions are gigantic. You can make different tacos with the various meats, it is seriously one of my favorite Mexican dishes. I would highly recommend this! Additionally, Esmeralda Grill has so many other wonderful dishes for different flavor profiles. My grandparents are pretty particular about empanadas, but simply cannot get enough of Esmeralda's version. They also make some killer tacos, and some very affordable ones if you were to come on Tuesday! The moral of the story? Don't base your opinion of a restaurant after a single visit. You don't come across a fantastic hole in the wall every day, Esmeralda Grill is one that every Mexican food lover should know!

We came in with a party of 18, where it turns out that whoever was handling the reservations seemed to not put us down (or at least didn't put us in the right day); it was overwhelming, but they were extremely accommodating and fast to come up with a solution for us. For that, I truly give them points -- Shoutout to Oscar (presumably the manager) and Manuel, our server. The entire experience is super fun! But be aware of what you're coming into (for dinner, at least). There was music blasting, which can be overstimulating. When you order a flight, those come with lots of cheering, lights flashing, etc. Overall, we had a blast with our party, looking for a celebration. Food was good! We got flautas and the birria quesadillas, which were honestly super delicious. The portion for rice was on the tinier side, I will say. But the food was cooked great. One thing I will say is I wish we had all received complimentary waters, we did not receive waters and those who did, did not receive refills. I will give grace since there was A LOT of us, and a LOT going on in general at this restaurant. Thanks for the fun time!

Even in the daytime, it was inviting. I went for lunch on a Thursday, so there weren't many people there at first. It's cute inside! The only reason I deducted points was because no one came to check on me after dropping off my food to see if everything was okay. I was waiting for them to, since I needed a knife to cut my chicken. I ended up eating it exactly as it looks in my picture - strips and all. They don't include knives in the wrapped silverware with the napkin. Also, it was a tad salty. Overall, it was cute in there, and I would definitely go back again.
