    Short Rib and Eggs
    Alicia M.

This is a great spot located right past security to grab a bite before your flight. There are plenty of tables and the host was very friendly. It is on the louder side and I didn't see any outlets. My food came out around 15 minutes after ordering. They serve Pepsi products. I had the Short Rib and Eggs and while it was flavorful, there were only 4-5 smaller chunks of short rib. The toast is not served with jam or butter.

Great airport lunch! My husband had a burger- so good I had Brunswick stew- also so good. The prices were typical for airport restaurant. But Taste- better than most!!

I passed through RDU heading back to Tampa. I stopped in for dinner at Crawfords. The reviews weren't the best and made me apprehensive going in. I'm happy to report that my Kale Cesar salad (+smoked salmon) was delicious. The kale was fresh and the dressing was perfect. I picked smoked salmon as a protein add on. Shoutout to John for providing great service!

I haven't been back to this spot since the change in occupancy. The service was great, atmosphere good and while the French toast had lots of flavor it was room temp. They missed an opportunity for a great dish by serving it at room temp. No telling how long it had been sitting around. Even nuking the toast before adding all of the other elements would have been an improvement.

Terminal 2 at RDU sure needed this restaurant! We had the opportunity to check it out on a recent Saturday morning. Note they quit serving breakfast at 10:30. We got there around 10:15, took a peek at the rest of the day menu to see if we wanted to wait for that, but opted to stick with breakfast because we wanted something lighter. Service was excellent. We were very pleased with the quality, taste and preparation of our meals. I went with a couple over easy eggs with toast. The toast was enough for two people as it was four pieces of nice thick grain bread. I asked for jam or jelly and was brought possibly the best jam I've ever had. Husband enjoyed his Market Bowl with scrambled eggs, taters, arugula and toast. His coffee was good. Loved my breakfast "juice" of a nice glass of red wine. Prices were reasonable for this quality of airport food. Would love to see some lighter options on the rest of the day menu.

French toast with berries and whip cream. It comes with syrup already on it but I asked for additional syrup on the side

With time to spare (thank you, TSA Pre-Check!), we decided to grab some breakfast before our flight. We stopped at Crawford's Genuine, conveniently located right across from our gate--no frantic dashing required. Now, let's be real: airport prices are what they are, so we're just going to let that slide. My husband had scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, and bacon, which he said was just okay. I opted for French toast and bacon, paired with a cup of coffee and, of course, two mimosas each for a bit of bubbly travel spirit. The French toast was the standout for me--crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. But the true highlight of our visit was our waitress, who was attentive, friendly, and just the kind of energy you want when you're gearing up for a day of travel. The music playing in the background added to the vibe and made for a surprisingly pleasant airport dining experience. Because of the waitress and the music playing the s why I gave it a four star. The food was nothing to rave about.

Honestly my expectations of airport food is very low. And this place blew away any preconceived notions I had. The staff was very knowledgable, suggesting substitutions or additions as appropriate. We were seated quickly in a busy but comfortable atmosphere. And the food was amazing. Perfectly cooked and exactly as described in the menu. I have no notes.

There was plenty of bar seating available and outlets under every other seat to plug in devices. The smash burger was really good and came out fairly fast. Service is excellent and noise level is good (can still hear on calls).

Having time to kill before our noon flight my wife and I stopped here to have some coffee and kill time. The coffee was good and it was hot. They provided a caddy with sweetener and cream as well. The breakfast menu is short, but I decided to go ahead and have something to eat. I ordered the Market Bowl. It's a bowl with toast, scrambled eggs, and fried potatoes all topped with fresh arugula. It was pretty good Our waitress was prompt and friendly, the restaurant was clean and bright and service was good.

Kale Caesar salad with fried flounder

I came here for a quick lunch at the airport. On this day I was looking for a nice escape from the busyness of the terminal, and this nice large enclosed space seated plenty even during peak lunchtime. Feeling healthy, I ordered a kale Caesar salad and thought to add a fried flounder. The food came out really quickly which is important for those trying to make their flight. I was a bit disappointed that the salad was fairly salty, and probably was seasoned with twice as much cheese as was needed. The flounder was served on a separate plate despite the pairing, and after receiving both, I don't think they really paired much at all - I opted to eat them separately. The bill ended up being $32 including tip and tax when it was all said and done - for a lunch salad. Overall, it was worth trying but I may opt for another place next time around.

Service was excellent. Menu is really well done. Food was good. Presentation was amazing but cheese biscuit could have been executed a bit better. However the grits bowl was really good. I'd go back!

New restraunt in RDU airport. Service was top notch. The food came out fast and they were surprisingly not as expensive as yoy typically see in airports. We got the wings, smashburger and a cocktail. Cute location. Highly reccomend.

RDU Terminal 2 Restaurant, was full of tourists and business travelers. Services was extremely fast, food was extremely HOT! My server was on point, I must say my server was busy dropping off orders on tables left and right. They had a full bar, I didn't order Johnny Walker Double Black Label, and I didn't want to pay airport prices. They had a great variety of music playing while I was dining. Beggers can't be choosey it was the only restaurant open at airport terminal 2, its Sunday. So If your flight is delayed and you're at RDU Airport. I must say the menu was limited due to the day and time of day.!

They don't serve food, so it's a good place to come after dinner. The ambiance is simple, a wooden bar and now that they have expanded, they have some tables as well. This past trip was the most crowded I've ever seen it in there, but the service was still quick and attentive. This bar is a staple for me.

They are very friendly and knowledgeable - which is good for me, b/c I ask a lot of questions! Service is careful, but does crawl if the house is full, it really is tiny inside - did you know there was a back door, patio area? Spacious, laid-back, and ideal for lingering over cocktails way longer than originally planned. Cary keeps getting cooler, and this place is a big reason why.

Until a friend's meetup group scheduled an afternoon "let's have cocktails all afternoon" Friday. Yup, count me in! I got there right at the appointed time, and the early birds were already halfway into their wine. There is a large patio area outside with chairs and tables in small groups. A sunshade and some nicely placed trees help a little There are a few 2- and 4-tops scattered around as you enter. To the left is a large square bar that projects into the room. Behind it is a veritable library of liquors, towering to the ceiling, which is about 9-10 feet high. Seeing the bartender climb up the sliding ladder and fetch a spirit was part of the show. Further to the left are two seating areas with round tables. We had one of these. The Cabernet proved to be the darling of the group (I think we had three bottles and a few extra glasses, but no one was counting! There were eight of us, so don't think we're a bunch of drunks!) I had looked over the menu online and started with the "Up in Flames". It's a Tiki drink, served with a squeezed lime shell garnish that has a sugar cube and some kind of liquor in it. The waiter lights it while still on the tray, and then sprinkles in cinnamon, which sparkles into the drink. He then extinguishes the flame and serves it. It was quite a show and very delicious! If I ever go and sit outside, I'm going to film it! After a bit, we were getting hungry, so food started appearing. The fig & prosciutto flatbread arrived first, (with a single plate and napkin). It was a 12" x 6" flatbread spread with honey, figs, prosciutto, chèvre, and arugula. Another of these came out later. Quite delicious. Someone else had the nachos, which they said were amazing. After asking, the server brought out more plates and napkins. Other cocktails that we tried and enjoyed were the Perro Perdito (Lost Dog) and the Drastic Measures. The Mango-chili shrub in this one packed a bit more heat than the Jalapeño dip! But it was tasty, with the salt/tajin half-rim. After a few hours of fun food and drink and a lot of laughter, we decided to release our hold on the table. The dinner crowd was champing at the bit to take over, and we were pretty sated. Everyone was safe to drive, so we hugged all around and parted ways, well fed and better friends. Thanks, N&S. You may drag me back to Apex again any time!!
