Really enjoyed my experience here! The mushroom pizza was amazing, and the drinks were just as good. The staff was informative, attentive, and accommodating without being overbearing. The cozy, laid-back atmosphere made it a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal. Definitely worth a visit!
Came in on a weekend for dinner and the place was very busy but nice. Friends and I had reservations for dinner but the weather for outdoor was perfect. I feel like the only downside was that it was very dark and loud indoors. The food was so good. We ordered a ton of food and everything was amazing. The mushroom and soppresata pizzas were so flavorful and delicious. The meatballs, ricotta, and Caesar salad were delicious as well. Although I live far, I definitely would come back again.
This place was good! I can see the hype. We got the ricotta which was probably the best item we ordered. Loved the yuzu and black sesame and the bread was great and STEAMY hot which I love when we got it. Speaks to the freshness. We also got the kale Caesar which was good too. And the loud red which was not loud at all in our opinion. The olives were fantastic. Will definitely come back again to try some of their other pies.
I live very nearby, so Sally has become an absolute go-to for dinner, solo dates at the bar, and happy hour. Their HH runs 4:30-6pm and includes all the elements of my dream dinner. A $10 strawberry spritz, $15 bread/cheese/meat combo (perfect for two), and one of their fab pizzas. I love Sally in all seasons. Staff is great, wine list slaps if that's the mood you're in, and you can generally find a spot as a walk in either at their bar or sidewalk table provided you're flexible. Happy hour only available at sidewalk tables and at the bar. It's a Fitler staple for a reason! Very kid friendly, and their pizza has improved in quality since I started coming here three years ago. Always looking forward to my next visit!
Didn't take a picture of my pizza or Caesar salad before I started eating it (sorry). This place was really cute and I'd been meaning to try it for a bit. I got the kale apple pizza and truthfully wasn't totally amazed by it, but between that and the Caesar salad, I thought they were okay. I would definitely give it another chance though because I have faith it could be amazing. The pizza just wasn't as flavorful as I'd imagined or heard about and was not as cooked through. I will say the restaurant is veryyy cute and the service was amazing. Everyone was so nice and attentive!!
Oh what a pleasant surprise! We were in the mood for some pizza and found this place by chance. They have a fun vibe with outdoor and indoor seating. We chose outdoor for that al fresco feeling. We enjoyed the burrata for our app - very good and different than most. Then we settled on their pesto pie - so good! They have a solid drinks menu and their other pies sound really good as well - looking forward to more times here!
This salad is my one way to treat myself as I am absolutely in love with it. The kale Caesar has a pretty steep price tag, but it is delicious with the perfect amount of crunch. I can not recommend enough to get the salad with chicken (pictured is only a few pieces as I shared it with the table), as there is something AMAZING going on with the chicken. I think of this salad so much and am saddened to no longer live by it.
My husband and I stopped in here on a Saturday night with the hopes of getting a table. We were seated at the bar, which was fine since we knew we didn't have any reservations. We ordered two mocktails, the margarita pizza, the Caesar salad, and focaccia with olive oil and house ricotta dip. The food came out promptly and was hot and delicious. Everything was flavorful. We really enjoyed this restaurant and will definitely be coming back!
the food and ambience here was incredible! each pizza we got was delicious and perfectly thin crust and flavorful. the slices are not oily at all and the summer squash and mushroom were definitely standouts. sitting outside on a summer night was perfect!! and the pizzas came out really fast.
We got the house ricotta, kale and apple pizza, margherita, and the sausage pizza. The kale and apple pizza was kind of spicy but delicious; very unique pizza flavor. The best part of the meal had to be the house ricotta with the perfectly toasted bread. The restaurant is pretty busy and dimly lit. The service is good and friendly.
Wow, this place has had a sharp decline in both food quality as well as service. For appetizers, we decided to go with the beets dish and the chicken Milanese. The beets dish is just such a basic that they serve at a million local restaurants and this was probably the worst version I've had. The beets were cold and hard and so was the labneh. They make a similar dish down the street at Ambrosia that is SO much better. This felt like something I could make in my own kitchen and it was $17. The chicken was fine, but not a dish that felt incredibly creative or something you couldn't get at any restaurant and the pizza we had for an entree was so thin crusted that we left still hungry. The plating was very pretty and looked very appealing. It's a cute place inside with the lights, but I don't think I'll be returning any time soon.
Having arrived into PHL later than expected, I am glad one of my short list restaurants was open Sunday evening. It was a warm spring evening and the outside seating was full so the cooler indoor seating did not disappoint. Although I sat in the bar area, it was quiet. Service was friendly if not frequent once my order was placed. Nice selection of local beers and cocktails available too. My margarita sans cheese pizza was very good. I love wood fired pizza and the dough was very light and flavorful. The salad though stole the show with the fresh farm lettuce and light dressing allowed it to shine. Parking was another story, I drove around and around until finding a spot that tested my parallel parking skills.

So so so impressed by Sally. I've heard so much about this place but never got around to trying it until tonight. The space is cute with a great outdoor seating area! The staff is so friendly and "normal" which I always appreciate. They of course did their normal customer service thing, but weren't overly friendly or overbearing. Other than the caesar, we stuck to the happy hour menu which was great. 8 dollar wines, 10 dollar (smaller size) pizzas and 12 (ish) dollar whipped ricotta with focaccia. The whipped ricotta was so incredibly good. The main point of visiting was for the Caesar salad which was incredible. Huge chicken cutlet and a comical amount of parm. Under 100 bucks for 4 drinks, pizza, salad and app - and everything was delicious. Will totally be back soon! read more

Overall, absolutely love this place! I have been here for both happy hour and regular dinner. They're happy hours is from 430 to 6 on weekdays. They have wine and cocktails as well as some snack snacks/small pizzas on their happy hour menu. I have enjoyed all the pizzas. I've gotten here, especially the spicy white pie, the pepper pie, the mushroom pie. ( I am vegetarian). I absolutely love the ricotta dip as well which is on the happy hour menu. They have a really nice outdoor area, as well as some tables inside. Service is excellent! Of note, this menu is from last year so prices have increased since 2025. read more

Had a great experience at Sally's. Came in on a Thursday night w/o a ressie and managed to snag an outdoor seating in less than 15 mins. The server was super kind and attentive. Our pizzas came out within 15-20 mins. Below is my opinion on what we ordered. Red pie + buffalo mootz - i like the crust; not too thin and not too thick. The sauce is tangier that i would like so maybe pesto sauce/ hot honey or adding protein with help cuts through it Sopressatta - love it. On a doughier side but no big deal. I would recommend adding hot honey on this! read more

Still an amazing piece of pizza! The Soppressata pizza with pepperoni added is a hit, and to take it a step further, adding the honey brings out an entirely new flavor to the pizza. The doctor's order had a slight change that completely changed the color but the flavor is still good. Our server was awesome same as last time and it was nice and warm for a winter visit inside. read more
We stopped here for happy hour a few days ago. Great happy hour menu with a wide range of options including their pizza! We got the ricotta app, charcuterie, and the focaccia. It was all delicious! They are baby friendly too which we appreciate. read more

I've had Sally saved as a "want to go" & took way too long to come! Customer service is great, we weren't going to be able to make our reservation time, so I called ahead and asked for a later time. They were able to accommodate us and were very attentive once we got there. The house ricotta was great, with a nice bread to accompany it. I had the white pizza and while it was good, it felt like something was missing in my bite, though I can't quite tell what it is. I finished off the meal with the panna cotta. The ice cream with the peanut brittle was the star. If I can get the ice cream with the peanut brittle next time, I would. & yes, I said next time because I will be back to try more pizzas! read more

We've been to Sally a handful of times now - each visit has been great. Once we had pizza and drinks at the bar in the evening, and the other times we visited on the weekends during brunch hours. The drink selection is great and the sourdough pizza here is so good - most recently we enjoyed the pesto pie and the sausage and peppers (my new favorite). We will keep coming back! read more

Sally is a great and intimate date spot for wine and pizza lovers alike. A cozy atmosphere serving up pizza (nice char) and other small bites. Easy to get a reservation on Resy. We got on the day of. Music selection was immaculate. Had to give compliments to whoever's playlist I was getting lost in. Food was pretty good. I really enjoyed the sardines which I tried for the first time here. Now I'm craving them all the time. As mentioned, the pizza is good and has a nice char that adds a crisp crunch. Only tried the cheese pizza on visit so I'll need to come back to try some of the other options. The crew ran through a couple bottles of wine. A little pricey but you can't put a price on a good time. Servers were awesome and really enjoyed chatting with them. read more

Great dinner at Sally this week! We were seated right away for a 7pm reservation. I wish the wine list was a bit more robust (especially the white wine - only 2 available on the menu), but the glass I got was really good! We started the meal with Cesar salad (with kale and brussel sprouts) which was delicious. It was really fresh and a perfect start to the meal. We then ordered the regular Red Pie, and did the add-on stracciatella cheese. I love fresh mozzarella and this pizza did not disappoint. Overall I left the meal full and happy! I will definitely be returning soon to try another pizza. read more
Another great philly restaurant with great food and a fun vibe! our waiter was so cool and knowledgeable about the menu and seasonal drinks. we sat outside in the covered parklet and it was great. the ricotta starter was fun, the kale ceasar felt very fall, and then we split a fig pizza and the pesto. the fig special pizza was our favorite! great local spot read more
This is a sweet spot. It's buzzing with a really nice set up outside and a (smallish) but buzzing set up inside as well. The cocktails were boozy and delicious and the soppressata pizza was so good! Nice charred chewy crust with a delicious red sauce. We also had a green salad and the dill added was perfect. I wasn't a huge fan of the chicken meatballs as I found them to be dry but everything else was spot on! Location, ambiance, a great server and very well made cocktails! A really good night! read more
I was not very impressed then with place. The service was mediocre. The pizza was an ok Neapolitan style pizza. I have had better: the sausage vinegar peppers is not very tasty too vinegary for me and not enough cheese on it: the pepperoni was good. I thought the pizza was going to be crispy but it was chewy. They also charged a 3% fee for workers working in the back kind of like an extra tip on top of tipping the waiter with no notice. I will not be going back here again. Not sure what the hype was all about. read more
We ordered take-out pizzas and salad from Sally's on a Friday night. Two small pizzas were more than enough for three people. We got a cheese pizza and one mushroom and egg pizza. Both were delicious. I especially enjoyed the mushroom pizza, but I wish they put the egg in the middle of the pie instead of on one slice. It makes it hard to share. The Caesar salad was the highlight! So good! I loved the crunch granola and the unique dressing. I would go back to Sally's to dine in next time. read more
Delicious place for unique pizzas. I especially love the red pie with anchovies. It was light and flavorful. The Brody pie was also very good. The mushroom and egg pie was my least favorite. If you don't want pizza you can also get some shared plates. We ordered the Japanese yam with pork belly and that was probably my favorite dish I had from that night. read more
