The customer service was great, consistently checked in on us as well as other tables. The ambiance, decor, and energy was good, it's just a tight space once enough people start getting seated. Now as far as the food is concerned it was between a 3 and 4 for a few reasons. Let's start with the shared plate - cinnamon knot bread. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't anything amazing either. It was a case of trying to be too balanced, not sweet enough for a sugar lover but too bland for a not sugar lover. The cream icing I was not a fan of and the bread itself was slightly dry. For the meal we got the classic breakfast + steak and eggs. The potatoes were 5/5 as they had the right crisp on them. The steak and bacon were 5/5, thick cut bacon slices cooked just crisp enough but not burnt. The steak was ordered medium, came out closer to the rarer side but it had good flavor, cut clean, and chewed easy. The eggs were eggs. Lastly, the iced brown sugar latte to drink was solid, the ice cubes were huge which I found funny. All in all, I think we'd go again just not soon or we are in the area.

Great Coffee. Visited for brunch and the food was pretty good. The coffee was amazing the salad and the potatoes. If you're gluten free the options are limited however you can get something here. The vibe is very Wicked and cutesy. They were very hospitable and they had a coat check.

Came for a Sunday brunch and the place was packed, good thing we had a reservation! The service was quick and friendly. The aesthetic of the restaurant is very nice. The food was just okay. Nothing was bad per-say but nothing stood out either.

Beautiful cafe! Came here for brunch on a Saturday and had a lovely meal. The brunch menu was smaller than what was on the website. I ordered a classic breakfast with bacon. The bacon was ok, but a bit tough. Everything else was good. This is more of a place to grab a bite before continuing to a different place. Service was quick to accommodate for all of the guests who were waiting and had reservations.

I came here for the happy hour collaboration with Cocco's gelato. I didn't make a reservation so I was told that to get a table, I had to wait 2 hours. They gave me the option to wait at the bar area. My patience paid off. I finally got a spot at the section next to the bar. It's standing area with a counter space that isn't very spacious but enough for small plates. The restaurant was super busy. People were waiting at the lobby. They were out of wine glasses at some point. I ordered oysters with champagne gelato. Unfortunately, gelato had melted and became watery. The gelato was delicious. My order probably had been out for a while. Oysters were fresh. Bartender was very friendly and engaging. Good spot to have drinks after work. I love the bar area. It has a very ornate wall.

Stopped in for dinner here a while back and it's a great space. The pear martini was well made and quite tasty, and they have some other interesting cocktails. There is a rotating food menu by the chef. Sampled a few of the food options: potato bread, seafood skewer, fried olive, baked cavatelli, amongst other things. Interesting elevated flavors for most dishes, everything well executed. Warm potato bread had an especially rich, cheese fondue on it. Fried olives portion was a bit small but still tasty. Seafood skewer well seasoned and grilled. Nice ambiance and great staff, overall great dinner. Thanks

Came for brunch. They take reservations now which I was told is relatively new. Food was so enjoyable as well as atmosphere. It is a small setting so you definitely want to get a reservation.

Amazing drinks and the atmosphere was just as good as the meals. They make their own drink syrups bake their own English muffins everything was on point. Shout out to our bartender Nikki, who was a gracious host.

The experience at Enswell is what I wish all dining experiences were like. From the service, to the interior, and of course the DELICIOUS food - everything blew us away. We ordered the fried olives, shishito peppers, spicy crab hash browns, cavatelli, and butter poached chicken. Every dish was better than the last. If I had to pick, I would highly recommend the chicken and pasta. They both were served HOT and bursting with flavor. Will definitely be returning!

I lucked out today when I waltzed into Enswell without a rezy and actually got seated immediately. Furthermore, the restaurant never got busy so my server told me to take my time, read my book, enjoy the coffee, and he'll check in to bring refills. I ordered the steak and eggs with a peppercorn jus that was eggcellent. I might have a thing about runny, sunny side up eggs that fail to run, but no problem here as they were perfect. The steak was also cooked rare and juicy. Enswell is a beautiful restaurant and today it delivered 100%. 5 stars

Interesting drinks, great food. The grilled spring peas were the best dish. Incredibly flavorful and cooked perfectly. The oysters were fresh and delicious! I did feel like we were quite rushed - the waitress came to clear the oysters while we were putting lemon and hot sauce on our last ones. It was busy, but still had tables open, so I was pretty surprised by the sense of urgency. Overall, super cute space and fun date night!

    Skillet Cinnamon Bun - $19

With my son headed back to school and work in Tucson I thought we should have another epic foodie adventure in Philly. One of the newest spots, this place is open for brunch on Sundays only. The interior is gorgeous and feels like you are in a chic European hotel restaurant. Here is what we ordered: Spicy Crab Roll - $26 - love that they had the crab filling on top of a piece of lettuce before placing it onto the bun. Absolutely nom nom. STEAK & EGGS - $26 - must be special chickens that they get their eggs from because the yolk is as bright orange as a duck egg. The minute steak was juicy and tasty and my son loved the crispy potatoes in the peppercorn jus. FRENCH STYLE OMELETTE - $21 - gruyère & chives with an added side of sausage - $6 (delicious) Portions are tiny but I don't mind it. The food has touches of French influences. Each bite on our plate was an absolute delight. TY Chef! It is still a solid 5-stars for me even though I thought cinnamon buns were over-baked. Also shocked at how massive (took up half the table) it was compare to the very small portions on all our entrees. Service was friendly & professional.

From the moment you step inside, the ambiance wraps around you like a gentle welcome. Soft lighting, warm wood tones, and a subtle hum of conversation create an atmosphere that feels both intimate and effortlessly comfortable. It's the kind of space where you can settle in immediately, whether you're meeting a friend or savoring a quiet moment alone. The most recent time, I enjoyed the short bread sandwich--DELICIOUS horseradish cream. They have GREAT N/A drink options. I love their cheesecake. The service is consistently gracious without ever feeling over-rehearsed. Staff members greet you with genuine warmth, offering thoughtful recommendations and an easy attentiveness that enhances the experience without intruding on it. There's a natural flow to the way they interact--always available when you need them, never hovering--and it reflects a team that clearly takes pride in making guests feel at home. What truly elevates Tria Rittenhouse, though, is its beautiful design. Every detail seems considered: the artful arrangement of tables, the textures of the furnishings, even the way the bar anchors the room with understated elegance. The design strikes a balance between sophistication and approachability, creating a space that feels curated yet never pretentious. It's visually inviting in a way that encourages lingering, whether you're enjoying a glass of wine or simply taking in the surroundings. All together, the warm ambiance, gracious service, and thoughtfully crafted design make Tria Rittenhouse a place that's easy to return to again and again. It's the kind of spot that reminds you how a well-designed environment and genuinely welcoming service can transform a simple outing into something memorable.

Our party ordered 4 spritzes and 1 N/A drink, which they messed up and brought all alcoholic drinks, but quickly fixed it when we noticed. We also got a cheeseboard to share, which was bigger than the server made it sound and not bad for a little snack between the 5 of us. Overall nothing was super special, but it was a nice spot to stop in and have a drink and a bite. Would consider coming back if I'm killing time in the area.

The tasting menu had three tiers you could choose from- $35, $45, and $55/person. We chose the $55/person option which included the full menu of tapas as well as dessert. They pick the most popular dishes to bring out to the table but also allow you to request any specifically that you'd like. By the end of night, we had a TON of food, even more than we could finish, and ended up trying at least 15 different dishes. All the food was great, with some of my favorites being the eggplant caponata (cold, very flavorful), scallops a la plancha, jamon & manchego croquetas, spiced beef empanadas, and the paellas. Favorite dessert was the chocolate cake, but we were received all the desserts other than the ice cream and sorbet. I may have liked the food experience less if I had ordered off the regular menu and only tried a few small plate, but I loved the option of trying so many dishes. By the time we finished everything, we had been there for over 3 hours (including lots of wine of course), which was really fun! The place gets packed on a Saturday night so we would not have gotten in without a reservation.

Ended up here by accident because I was window shopping with my 3 year old and he suddenly shouted…read more"I need to potty"...most establishments do not have restrooms available to the public so I figured our best bet was a restaurant and popped in here. The staff were immediately sympathetic, super friendly and helpful. Of course, as if I wasn't embarrassed enough, as soon as the 3 year old washed his hands, he shouted "I'm hungry" (is this sort of human I'm raising?). We were already in a restaurant so why not. Before being seated or looking at the menu, I asked for some fries to be put in and the waitress offered some chicken tenders. After finally looking over the menu, I don't think these are regular offerings so I appreciated them trying to be accommodating to a frazzled parent at dinner time. My vegan mother in law joined us and we were pleased that there were so many options for her. My absolute favourite (such that I had to order another round) was the eggplant caponata - perfectly sweet with a little bit of spice. It was so warm and comforting - exactly what I want at the end of a long cold day. My MIL's fav were the Brussels sprouts - they had a tang reminiscent of buffalo sauce and were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, textured heaven (extra bonus points for the 3 year old absolutely LOVING them - he redeemed himself). If you like hummus, try the spinach and chick pea cazuela. Squash is in season so I knew it was going to be delightful - the pomegranate was a combination that was new to me, but it didn't disappoint. We didn't try the roasted carrots (because my household is all carroted out for the moment) but someone one table over was gushing over them. As a meat eater, I have to say that the non meat tapas were standouts - I tried the empanadas, they were fine; I didn't enjoy the meatballs and I just wanted to order more of the eggplant caponata. All in all, I would definitely come back, maybe for drinks with friends or date night. The drink list looked inviting and nothing says intimacy like mood lighting and shared plates. The price (without alcohol) was very approachable - for $80 a vegan, a 3 year old and a frazzled mom left satiated.

We ordered two of the famous spicy caesar salads (must order!!), a ricotta toast, a White Claw pizza, and a finished off our meal sharing two chocolate budinos. The White Claw is a pretty classic white pizza, mozzarella and swirls of basil pesto; the crust is amazing! It pairs perfectly with the salad. The ricotta toast is decadent and addicting, but a little bit goes a long way. The chocolate budino was outstanding - sweet, with hints of espresso. We won't talk about how I ended up with some of it on my white turtleneck... Service was friendly and QUICK! We ordered, and I swear we had our first dishes in less than 10 minutes. The server was a doll, though I can't recall his name. Downside of Prunella, like anywhere in Center City, is there is no parking. Upside, is you're just a short walk from the 13th St. Septa Station, and you're literally equidistant from Broad and Market streets. Pro-tip: Killer happy hour specials, but only at the bar.
