Unlike the other two times she didn't give me a hard time about the amount of items (I am picky so I only get a few items but I like more than 1 tiny spoonful). She wasn't stingy with the dressing either and did a great job mixing. She also offered me the free bread (last time they told me it was extra so I didn't get any only to find out from a friend it was included). Their salads have always been good to me. I made an impromptu stop here after an event nearby. Parking lot was spacious and the area was well lit. The employee greeted me right away and worked quickly to put together my salad bowl. I always get the salata mix, tomatoes, corn, black bean, chickpeas, eggs, jalapeños, feta cheese with spicy chipotle ranch & salmon. There is an option for pita chips or croissant as a complimentary sized but I wish there were more carb friendly sides to choose. This was one of the nicest Salatas that I have ever visited as far as ambiance and cleanliness! I was very impressed with how modern it was. When going through the line, I felt as though I constantly had to ask for more of certain things (like cucumbers) as they only out a very small amount in. I only put a few ingredients into the salad so I want a decent amount of the ones I select. In my salad, I added bean sprouts, carrots, cucumbers, red onions, radishes and shrimp with the fat free sun dried tomato dressing. Once it was complete, it was great! This is a very easy way to make your salad the way you really want. Very fresh ingredients and friendly staff. This is one of the first places I came to visit when I was in town. I was looking for something light and refreshing. To my surprise I was highly satisfied with Salata. I also ordered the tomato basil soup which was delicious and the Prickly Pear Limeade which was okay. I think it had a little to much limeade. The salad was fresh and they had all the toppings that I wanted available. I got a small and it was plenty for a quick lunch. I got romaine and kale and some fruits and veggies and no meat. I make sure to ask for extra scoops of some items because sometimes they tend to give you a little bit. When I get a salad with no meat I want to still make sure I am getting my moneys worth because they are a tad pricey so don't be shy and ask for an extra scoop. Nice new-er location in Garden Oaks. Has a nice interior with some outside seating available. The whole line system to building your salad is pretty seamless and quick. Prices have definitely increased due to inflation, and per a note on the door they aren't taking any coupons or discounts (though I didn't know those even existed). We had 2 regular salads with salmon filets ($4.99 additional for each salmon filet) + 2 drinks and total was almost $40. I can see people shy away due to price so worth knowing before you go in but at least it's a quick and healthy option in the area. read more

I'm a regular at salata, I mean I goto salata about everyday of the week, I have two salatas I go to, this salata, and the other salata on spring green in katy, even tho I love both salatas very much, cause I know pretty much all the employees at both locations, this one is my favorite, cesar and diana are my favorite, cesar is by far the best manager, he's always making sure everything comes out fresh, and to what everyone needs, diana is always friendly and helpful always, they take care of me everyday I go up there as a loyal costumer, and I always feel like home, when I go every morning, makes me happy seeing them everyday and greeting me like I'm one of the salata fam, if you come here expect excellent service. read more

I usually have good experiences at this location but this evening I didn't. I ordered two regular salads online, and since I'm working I didn't get to return to get my order fixed. Most of the proteins at Salata cost about $4+. I ordered Krabmeat in my salad and upon returning back to work my salad had none. I wouldn't have minded if it's maybe my black beans or grapes missing because those are just complimentary. But paying almost $5 more for a salad to not have any protein is pretty upsetting. Unfortunately every time I have been here and every time in the future I'm going to have to unpack the order and double check myself that everything is there. But generally I just don't feel the value is there for what I pay for anymore. I feel like I'm paying $20 for a whole bunch of lettuce and a handful of toppings. I can barely taste any tomato, egg, walnuts that I ordered. And I'm sorry, but an extra $3 for quinoa? No thanks. There are more cost effective tastier options. Like Leaf & Grain. By far the stingiest Salata location ever. The manager here needs to be fired, he is ignorant and doesn't know what he is talking about. Every Salata location I've ever been too if I get a wrap and for some reason all the contents of what I got don't fit in the tortilla they just put the remainder on the side so I can eat it. Well this time around the manager there said that anything that doesn't fit in the wrap they throw away. I asked why not just put it on the side if I'm paying for the shrimp and the avocado, so technically whatever doesn't fit in the tortilla I'm paying for so I have the right to eat and take with me ... well the manager made up some bull sh*t that it's policy you only are allowed what fits in the wrap and everything else gets thrown away. That is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard, I'm paying for the shrimp and the avocado and everything else so I'm allowed to get whatever doesn't fit in the wrap, why would you throw food away food wtf ... this place is expensive as it is, if I'm paying $20 for a wrap I expect to get everything I payed for ... so I called corporate and they told me what the manager said wasn't true so basically the manager is just being ignorant and difficult with customers for absolutely no reason here .... The 1st time I went to this location I was disappointed with the customer service. I felt like the clerk on the other side that was taking my salad order was rushing me. I love salata so I returned this time with my boyfriend, it was his 1st time there. Anyway once again same disappointed customer service. He even said he felt rushed and I don't understand this, the employee's would not have a job if it wasn't to service the customers, so why not take the time and just serve the customer what they wish to order (even if it's everything on the salad) I am paying for it by the way. I live right by this location. Its healthy and fast, so I grab lunch or dinner here fairly frequently. I'd say about 50% of the time they do not rinse off the knife the use to cut cut people's wraps in half between uses, so if you are a vegetarian or have a food allergy, I would avoid this location. read more
