This was surprisingly my first visit to Cava. One of our administrative assistants said she wanted to go there, and my fellow co managers couldn't decide, so we ended up here. It reminds me a bit like Zoa Moroccan Kitchen. The parking lot is small and can get busy at lunch. It's pretty tight to back out of. It also shares space with Zalat Pizza, a Pilates studio and Snap Kitchen. For reference, we got here around noon and found one spot. There's also some street parking if you can find it. The line was to the door but moved quickly. Like Zoa and Chipotle's concept, you go down the line picking a base, dips/hummus, main meats (and now glazed salmon) or falafel, toppings and dressings. You can also order their specialty bowls or wraps. I built my own bowl with saffron basmati rice, red pepper hummus, roasted eggplant, harissa honey chicken (spicy but not that spicy), charred corn, cherry tomatoes with red onions, crispy pita strips and a drizzle of garlic dressing. We took ours to-go since we had to get back before our meeting. The lid for the bowl was lousy and doesn't lock in place. There are bags to put your takeout in near the pre-order pick up area, which is across from the drinks near the restroom entrance. I like the variety of in house made tea and lemonades. If you choose to dine in, there's plenty of seating at the front, back and patio area. People were coming and going picking up orders more so than dining. Although I thought the food was pricey for a build your own bowl with a large drink ($17.70), I really enjoyed my bowl. I loved everything about it and thought the ingredients were fresh. I especially loved the harissa honey chicken flavor and just enough spice, charred corn, roasted eggplant and crispy pita strips. The saffron in the basmati rice gave it extra flavor. It's a huge portion, so I ate half for lunch and the rest for dinner. I would definitely come back to any Cava location and glad that there's one near my office and home. read more

After a super long travel day, Jacob behind the counter and Jasper at the register were absolute sweethearts. Jacob made sure my bowl was stacked and satisfying after a rough morning of hopping from plane to plane. The basmati rice was fresh, the supergreens were crisp, and the chicken was hearty and flavorful. I loaded my bowl with all the mix-ins--crazy feta, fiery broccoli, harissa, and more--and every bite hit the spot. Jasper must've picked up on how exhausted I was and kindly treated me after asking about my travels. That kind of kindness and attention made a lasting impression. I usually love Cava -- the food is always so fresh and delicious, and I've never had a bad experience until this visit. Unfortunately, they had run out of chicken, pita chips, and pita bread, and the service was much slower than usual. It seemed like it may have just been an especially busy day. We did have to wait quite a while, but once the food was restocked, everything tasted fresh and was worth the wait. read more

The worker provided unfriendly service, just dry with no greeting. Felt unwelcome. Prices are ridiculous for an appetizer size bowl for $17 with 4 tiny lamb meatballs. At the Tyler location received 8 meatballs same price. Not to worry, we won't be patronizing this location in the future. read more

The food is great and it helps that it's close to where I live. Ordered take-out and when I came home to get the items out the bag--I'm disappointed to see that the pita bread wasn't in a bag (there's usually a brown little bag they put the pita bread in, but my order didn't have that. The pita bread was just thrown in the yellow plastic CAVA bag). There were corn kernels stuck underneath the sides of the lid. It's like whoever put my order together is hating on the food they're serving and just super aggressive putting the meal together imo... that's why I'm giving 4 stars. read more

Every time I visit CAVA, I leave in a better mood. The food is delicious and the environment is upbeat and welcoming. Ordered Cava today for dinner through DoorDash. It was made and delivered pretty quickly. I was disappointed in how little pita bread they gave when we ordered it for two entrees. The dill yogurt sauce was really good and the bowl itself was really tasty. All of the ingredients were really fresh but I would have liked to have more Romain lettuce to fill the bowl a bit more. I also would have liked to have the hummus on the side in a separate container to eat with the pita bread but I suppose it's my fault for not specifying. Overall it was very good and I will be going back for more when I'm in the area. read more

Wow - I have heard everyone talking about Cava and finally had to go check it out myself!! I got the Harris Avocado Bowl - so so good. It is so refreshing and filling. It is also a great portion - next time I go I would recommend splitting one bowl or saving half for later (depending on how hungry you are!!). Excited to make this spot a staple. read more

To be honest, I just asked for everything I saw to be put in my bowl thinking it was going to be the most randomest taste, but holy cow; it was delicious! Recently gave them another chance bc meeting a friend for lunch. The staff was very friendly and gave good portion sizes. Although I'm still annoyed with the fiasco that happened last time, overall my new experience was good. I do think they need to stop using seed oils though and then I would be here all the time (no more sunflower oil please!) I know it's to save on costs but it would be worth it to pay a little more for me to have it just be olive or avocado oil read more

I gave my bf maybe 1/4-1/3 of my bowl, and he had leftovers. I got the build your own greens+grains bowl ($10.95). Bf got the grains bowl w/ basmati rice. First time visiting this Mediterranean spot. I got the Harissa Avocado without the avocado and the cucumber mint lime drink. They allow you to customize your order and provide complimentary pita bread. The food was fresh and delicious and a good portion size. The drink was my favorite and wasn't too sweet and was very refreshing. The atmosphere was very chill and on a Saturday around 11:30 there wasn't anyone in the restaurant except one family. There's a lot of space for sitting and they also have outdoor sitting. Apparently, a lot of the Cava locations were once Zoes Kitchens. Highly recommend. read more

I actually really like Cava. I think the food is great however a bit pricey. I got the Lemon Chicken Salad, and the blueberry lavender (I think) drink. Lemon Chicken Salad was fresh, good & fulfilling. The blueberry lemon drink has no added sugar, and was very good. Definitely a must try. read more

A lot of good things going on over here. I guess a lot of people make their own bowls but I got the falafel bowl and it was money. Not expensive, just money. Fresh ingredients, loved it What else can you say about a construct-your-bowl establishment but it's as good as those places get. Also thanks Jennifer at the register for the kind service. It's small things that go a long way in the customer service industry and she's doing them. I'll be back to gobble up more of those bowls! read more

As I said before; from my experiences in every single Greek cafe, if the taziki sauce is good, the gyros will be too. It's a solid symptom and indicator imo. As for the burger, very rarely are burger places only in TX actually any good for the past 15 years. So many are just average or below lacking seasoning or a great overall flavor. Niko Niko's, Goode Company Hamburgers and TX Hamburger Palace are my top 3 in that order for it. Each different too. The brioche buns were just the right thickness and very soft to make the beef patty stick out well. The patty was so nice in charbroiled taste, saltiness, richness, beefiness and tender in every bite. A good burger doesn't need much in toppings, but cool, refreshing, tomatoes are a must for me and pickles add some tangy crunch too. For steak rare, but for a burger medium to medium rare. I had never seen or heard of their Greek Spaghetti n Meat Sauce before. This was like a Greek Bolognese with a lot of love in its flavor. The noodles were drained, very moist and so soft. I don't like too much cheese, so I took some off, but still like some. The meat sauce gravy itself was really flavorful, savory, fatty enough and had that subtle sweet, warm spice aroma you get in the Greek lasagna. I like to get dessert here sometimes when I have extra room, bc they have some great options like their galaktobourreko, chocolate ganache cake, etc. The service was very welcoming, friendly and efficient on these visits.

The cheese pide was good and a very large portion size. I wish there were some vegetables added however. The dough was delicious. Istanbul grill does make good bread. The pita bread was also good, very soft, and tasted fresh. It was busy on a Saturday night. Decor is minimal inside and ambiance was family friendly. Most of the tables were families with children. I will note that the interior was on the warmer side for a November night. Overall likely would not return just because of limited vegetarian food.
