Drive thru
Deedrah B.

Drove thru for coffee on the way to Memorial Park. Ordered a medium hot morning bun latte. Cool wall art and a lot of other good menu options (breakfast sandwiches, pastries, etc). Friendly service but they took awhile...10+ min for drive thru but at least she came out with the drink when it was ready even tho someone ahead of us was still at the window. The drink was delicious tho!

Coffee, drive thru, and scones?! YES PLEASE! Location: shepherd, corner making it convenient for coffee pick up. Staff: always friendly and patient Price: average Drink: lavender latte is my fave, I always order hot as it comforts me and lavender relaxes me. Eat: scones: healthy nut will always be my favorite, I usually ask to get it warm as it gives it more comfort and dipped in coffee just pure yummm.

3 blueberry muffins, kouign amann, chocolate chip cookie. My fave is the kouign amann. No where else makes it as good as Common Bond!!!!

I love Common Bond. I bought some blueberry muffins and they were very disappointing. Literally only 2 blueberries in it. I called this On-The-Go Common Bond Garden Oaks location, where the blueberry muffins were bought at. I spoke with Taylor, the supervisor, and he was super kind, helpful, and apologetic. He replaced my blueberry muffins and offered me a coffee for the inconvenience. Wow! The blueberry muffins I received were incredibly delicious, loaded with blueberries, topped with those tasty sugar crystals. The coffee was also out of this world! Highly recommend Common Bond and TAYLOR. Thank you for going above and beyond!!! I only want to go to this location from now on. Btw, get the Kouign Amann. You'll thank me later.

Shoutout to Eden Thank you for being so nice!!! Great ambiance. I only went in for an ice tea but I'm sure their food is delicious.

Ham and cheese

I chose the chicken salad croissant on a staff member's recommendation. It's prepackaged and refrigerated behind the counter. The croissant is not too dry from being in the refrigerator. The chicken salad is tasty and very mushy like tuna salad. The romaine lettuce and cheese add an extra touch to the sandwich. I was a little leery of the ham and cheese due to past photos. It's pretty tasty and wrapped with paper and placed in a paper bag. The baguette is more like a grocery store version and less of a bakery version as it's plump, more dense than fluffy and not very crispy. The ham slices weren't too thick, a little sweet and salty and just enough in ratio to the bread. The Gruyère slices aren't too thin. The Dijon butter doesn't stand out as an ingredient. I was able to walk in one day, then the next day, only the drive-thru was available per Management. There's a large patio facing the road and plenty of parking behind the building. The staff was nice. After ordering in the "garage", turn left and wait at the black window for payment and pickup.

Frozen Bond

Two days in a row I have come for the delicious Frozen Bond coffee-A treat in this heat. I've tried the chicken salad sandwich and a ham and Gruyère and the bread they have is amazing-Soft and chewy not hard as a rock. I appreciate the fresh selections of pastries and juices and options for kiddos that are in the garbage french fries. Staff has been extremely friendly. Support Local!

Mushroom, egg, and cheese croissant in reality.

-1 star for walking in and seeing the ship the macaroons in and don't make them in house, and the bakery items are a little expensive. -1 star for being a drive thru breakfast place and not offering free treats for your 4 legged friend or even a simple whipped cream cup -1 star for false advertising. As seen in the photos the sandwich they post looks absolutely beautiful but what you yet is a hockey puck on some bread. +1 star because the food tasted pretty good but not mind blowing +1 star for quick service (but from the puck I clearly understand why)

They also have a spacious parking lot, which was convenient. Since I had my dog with me, I stepped inside briefly to confirm that the patio was open before settling in. I greeted the young woman at the counter and asked if patio seating was available. She responded, "Yes, because dogs are not allowed inside." That felt unnecessary. I was clearly asking about the patio for that exact reason. I was not attempting to sit indoors, and I understand health regulations. She then added that the Houston Health Department could walk in at any moment. Again, I was not trying to dine inside. I simply wanted to confirm patio access so I could enjoy a coffee outside. I asked if someone would be outside to take my order. She said no. So I asked if she could take my order right then so I could immediately head out to the patio. She agreed, but her tone and demeanor felt dismissive, which made the interaction uncomfortable. At that point, I decided to leave. If the patio is dog friendly, there should be a smoother process for solo customers with pets. A simple, "Yes, the patio is open. Let me take your order now so you can head outside," would have made this quick and easy. Advisory: If you are visiting with a dog, I would recommend bringing another person with you. If you are alone, the ordering process may be awkward, as you cannot remain inside with your dog while placing your order. I would have happily spent money here, but the service made the visit feel more procedural than welcoming.

Step inside and you'll find a wonderfully mixed crowd: tech people typing furiously, students contemplating existential dread over a flat white, fashion-forward creatives in boots so white they defy known urban physics -- and yes, that includes me. One corner of the room is charmingly not quite tidy, as if the café itself were whispering: "Relax. Real life happens here." Industrial ducts snake overhead, large windows flood the space with natural light, and sociability seems to circulate as freely as the air. Now, the coffee: a revelation. The espresso is concentrated civilization -- exactly as it should be -- and the cappuccino is an elegant balance of foam and depth, not one of those half-liter dairy-fatigue exercises from anonymous multi-national chains-that-shall-not-be-named. The staff? Friendly, knowledgeable, and disarmingly competent -- the sort of people who know precisely why this bean tastes like citrus and chocolate instead of simply shrugging at the universe. In sum: Tenfold isn't just a café; it's a microcosm of a city that thrives on difference. A place where everyone, no matter their background, finds caffeine, community, and a seat at the table. For all of that -- the atmosphere, the humanity, the coffee artistry -- five stars, unequivocally.

The listing for this exact location says "pets welcome," so I felt confident stopping by. However, as soon as I walked in, I was greeted by two customers fawning over my dog. Before any staff member greeted me or even acknowledged me as a customer, someone from behind the far counter told me that dogs were not allowed inside. I mentioned that their Google listing says pets are welcome, and the response was that it applies to a different location. That would be fine if it were clear, but the listing I checked had this location's address directly underneath "pets welcome." That is confusing and misleading. What made it more frustrating was the lack of hospitality. There was no greeting, no attempt to clarify kindly, no "We're sorry for the confusion," and no effort to offer a solution like helping me quickly order to go. It felt dismissive. Clear and accurate information matters. If pets are not welcome at this location, the listing should reflect that. I drove out of my way based on that detail, and it ended up being a waste of time and gas. Because of that experience, I chose not to patronize the this location but may try another location one day.

I believe the first time I came here. I had some breakfast tacos and an iced latte which I did really enjoy. Today I went, and I had a chorizo empanada, a Horchata doughnut, and the Neapolitan latte. The empanada was nice and hot, I do wish it was a little more flavorful but next time I'll probably just add some hot sauce or something. The inside looks really cozy however I didn't stay and eat there since I had my pets in the car. The Horchata doughnut was interesting, was not what I was expecting, but didn't hate it. The Neapolitan latte taste like dessert, was definitely on the sweeter side which the cashier had warned me of. But overall, I really enjoyed it. I do love that they use Bendy straws, it's one of the only coffee shops I've been to that has consistently used them lol.

Normally I avoid rosca because the bread as I mention is dry or too hard but this one was very good, I'm guessing it's the same dough as their donuts and I would take it! I called and asked if there were any and the lady was like I hear how overwhelm you are so I'll just set aside this one on display. Papa blesssss! Found my new go to spot for rosca! I hope in the future they have different flavors or even preorders because I def would place one.

The nuttiness of the sesame goes SOOO well with the espresso taste and it's a good creaminess too. I also like the texture of the bits of sesame seeds in the drink. The aesthetic of the cafe is modern with street-style flairs, it's a really cool space. I also love that there are Filipino flavors on the menu like ube and pandan. Most workers are super nice and say your name like they know you. They're also super attentive to ensure that everything with your order is perfect. Jonah was very welcoming and helpful, making sure we got a menu while in line! The weekdays seem to be better for wait-time, with little to no wait. The weekends however are packed and usually have lines. If you're not a line person, I would definitely come on a weekday. You can tell they care about quality, and I absolutely understand why this place stays busy. That being said, the wait time was very long. I waited about 30 minutes from the time I ordered to actually receiving my coffee, and this was on a Wednesday around 10 a.m. I'm not sure if that's their normal flow, but it was packed. Thankfully I didn't have anywhere to be, because if you're stopping in before work or during a tight schedule, definitely plan ahead and expect a wait. The only real downside for me was the timing and ordering process. Spending close to $10 on one coffee plus waiting that long makes this feel more like an occasional treat rather than an everyday coffee run. I'll admit I may have been a little cranky from the wait, but I do think it's fair feedback. Overall though, my coffee was delicious, and because of that, I would absolutely give them another chance. Good things take time, I guess.

The place has a no frills coffee shop vibe that feels relaxed and focused on good coffee without trying too hard. They offer a wide variety of drinks and the visuals and descriptions make it easy to see exactly what you are getting and how each drink is made. I ordered a shakerato, which I think is my usual here, and it was light, smooth, and the perfect pick me up. My friends grabbed a few pastries and absolutely devoured them, so I guess I need to try the food options next time. Everything just feels straightforward and easy, which is part of why I keep coming back. I always catch myself eyeing the bags of coffee on the way in. They make great gifts or a nice at home treat, especially this time of year. Honestly, I should have grabbed one on the way out but I got distratced by conversation.

My beloved Boomtown RIP…read more This pains me to write. Different is certainly not always better, especially when what you had was already working. I much prefer the saying if it ain't broke don't fix it. To the people who bought this place, I know your motto is "different is better," but please stop taking that so literally. You do not have to change every aspect of this place to make it different. The best thing about getting your everyday local coffee is seeing the same baristas you've seen over and over again, familiar faces who know you by name. This was one of those places where I'd hate to admit how much money I've spent here, and I did it happily. In just three weeks, our beloved spot, one I would willingly drive out of my way for, has gone so far downhill that I barely recognize it. From the eyesore taco warmer that practically knocks you in the face while you're ordering, replacing a space that once showcased lovely things like fresh flowers and local trinkets, to the disappearance of the wonderful local treats from Sinfull Bakery that kids genuinely enjoyed. At first I thought maybe you were just out, but after three weeks it became clear that expenses were being cut across the board and those items may never come back. And where do I even begin. The new oat milk is terrible. It completely changes the look and taste of the coffee and is immediately noticeable. I won't harp on the change of hours or the change in flavor of your coffee beans, but I feel it must be mentioned because, well, it's noticeable. And now the cleanliness. Spilled taco sauce all over the floor, and when your kid points it out, you know you're in trouble at that point. Dishes piled so high they're overflowing, dirty restrooms. And to be clear, this isn't the staff's fault, there is simply not enough staff to keep up with these things. Never ever in seven years of being a frequent visitor has it been this bad. I also noticed the new coffee packaging, and it's just another reminder that the heart and thoughtfulness that once defined this place are gone. At this rate I half expect robots handing me my latte in a few weeks so you can save a few more bucks. And getting rid of Toast. Even if Toast was an expensive platform to use, it was legitimately so convenient. And dang, if you're going to do away with it, don't replace it with the worst possible ordering system ever, one that doesn't even work. Do you know how many orders I wouldn't have placed if it weren't for Toast? Toast made those orders possible when I didn't have time to wait. Without it, I simply wouldn't have ordered. I understand times are tough for many businesses, but you all were booming. The new online ordering system doesn't work. You may as well do away with it altogether because this one just isn't it. Honestly, I am devastated. You knocked it out of the park in every area, cleanliness, service, food. I never had a single bad item on the menu. The coffee was beyond. When my family moved out of the city a year and a half ago, I still drove 35 minutes one way just to get your food and coffee, over an hour round trip again and again. I don't think you understand how this new direction has driven this place into the ground in a matter of three weeks. Sadly all good things must come to an end.
