Ahh... Ehhhh.. I've enjoyed this place but their price quality ratio has decreased. I know, I know, inflation has hit everyone. But that Brie & Jam crepe for $8.50 with less than 2 bites of brie and 1.5 teaspoons of uneven jam spread left me disappointed. That Biscoff cookie butter & strawberries crepe used to have crunchy Biscoff cookies, which disappeared. Meh.

I've been meaning to stop in for a while. I always se with when I'm driving past or getting food nearby. Today I decided to check them out. I grabbed a "hot girl latte" which is brown cinnamon sugar, mocha, and oat milk. It's 80 degrees in February so I got it iced. And a breakfast taco crepe. The crepe is served handheld but they do offer plates if you ask. I love the selection of savory and sweet crepes. There something for everyone. They also serve sandwiches and salads. The ambience is chill and inviting. It's bright due to the natural light beaming through the windows and they had r&b playing in the background. Aaliyah and coffee I'm sold. Service was great. I was immediately greeted upon entering and the cashier was friendly and knowledgeable. I'll definitely be back because they have a large menu and items that I want to try. Like the cookie butter crepe Side note: the restroom is clean, spacious, and offer feminine products.

I was planning on giving this place 4 stars, but when we were leaving, the people at the front were really nice about putting more cream inside of my Vietnamese coffee to make it more palatable for me, and more sugar and as well since it was quite strong but not sweet, so I bumped it up to a 5 star review. I will say the outside and inside of it is very cute and it seems like it's some place that should be on the beach somewhere, because of the fun colors and I really love that about it. What I didn't love was my creep pretty much had no filling inside of it because I got the one that had brie but there was only a couple of small pieces of at the end of the crepe, and it didn't only taste like anything. There really wasn't any flavor. The Vietnamese coffee like I said, was strong, but good. I also tasted my husband's latte and that was nice as well. His crepe had more flavor and tasted better since it was bananas and strawberry, and had nutella filling so of course it was more filling, which I expected, but I also expected my crap to have flavor. Overall, I would go back but choose a different crepe that had fruit inside of it instead of anything without fruit since the ingredients were sparse. **also wanted to add that if you want actual dishes you need to specify that other wise it's like a to-go order.

Crepes, crepes, crepes! Stopped by on a Sunday mid-morning and we were informed it would be a 30-40 minute wait for food! Good thing we weren't in a rush and was just enjoying a leisurely morning. Ended up walking around the area after ordering. There is also seating outside and we happened to be there on a day where it wasn't 100 degrees. I chose the breakfast taco crepe which consisted of a generous portion of potatoes, egg, sauteed veggies, and salsa. The egg is cracked directly onto the crepe as it cooks and is incorporated directly into the crepe itself. The potatoes were soft and fluffy, the cheese melty, and veggies added a nice texture. At first I thought they had forgotten the salsa but it is mixed into the filling. I ended up asking for another serving of salsa on the side which really elevated the flavors. In my opinion, this crepe could have benefitted from some sausage and a bit less potatoes. Overall, this was a fun experience. The weather was beautiful and the food was tasty.

Really nice creperie, easy parking and cute chic decor. Seen many people with their laptops out so it seems to be a nice place to hang around and maybe get some work done. The young lady taking our order was super sweet and the place seems like it's kept clean. *Crepes were super yummy but nothing out of the ordinary, I got a Nutella crepe and my boyfriend got a breakfast taco crepe and he said it was pretty good. They do serve them hand held which was different lol *coffee was nice and smooth id definitely stop by again for another cup of their 711 latte.

Cutest Creperie!!! Stopped in for a late Saturday breakfast and so happy we did. Located in the heart of the heights and a great walkable area with tons to do. They offer a variety of different crepes- sweet & savory, as well as drinks! Everything we tried was fantastic. The staff was patient and very friendly! Looking forward to returning soon.

Melange was a nice spot for breakfast/brunch! So delicious we forgot to take a picture of our food before chowing down! We ordered the Cuban for savory and the Turtle Cheesecake for sweet. The crepes were large, perfectly cooked, and full of ingredients! Both were great but the Turtle Cheesecake was phenomenal! My husband enjoyed the 711 Latte. We loved the style of the cafe and it has a nice aesthetic.

A cute creperie location in the Heights! A good sized parking lot and walking distance to some shops/restaurants. I got the strawberry Nutella crepe and it was pretty yummy! My sister got the Sweet Tooth crepe and liked the flavor, but they over cooked her crepe, so it was weirdly crunchy and brittle throughout the whole crepe. My mom loved the cappuccino, but the hot chocolate tasted a little funky. We waited a good 20 minutes for our crepes since there was a decent crowd and I only saw two people working. Overall, a decent creperie that gets bonus points for its location.

Wow wow wow! This restaurant is incredible. First of all it's super cute, inside and out. A pink outside and a cool parisian cafe looking inside. The flavors of crepes are plentiful, sweet or savory, you have a large pick. I got the jian bing, it was so delicious, Each bite was crispy because of the wonton, the sauce complimented each bite well. The crepe itself was so soft. I wish there were more vegan savory crepe options but other than that no complaints.

Came in this morning and had the Hot Girl Latte and a Cuban-12 crepe. Both were great!

Came here on a Saturday around 11:30am and the place wasn't packed. When we arrived, it was just a family eating. When we entered the restaurant, not one staff greeted a "good morning" or "welcome" whatsoever. The menu is listed on a blackboard. There were a bunch of yummy options to choose from. We ordered The Michelle - it consisted of ham, brie, and mixed berries jam. While waiting, I asked for some glasses for the water station. The staff said those were there on the side. I saw two silver trays there - one empty, the other one had three tin containers upside down, similar to where you would put cotton balls in any bathroom. I went back to the counter and i told them that there were no glasses, they said the glasses were the tin cups - well I wish they informed me in detail! They didn't care. When our order was ready, it was served like a sandwich. Folded and wrapped in a foil and parchment paper. There weren't any plates on the table nor utensils. Nonetheless, I was so hungry, I ate it just like that. The crepe was good and tasty. Come departure time, we said thank you..... and nothing in return. The staff I believe were in their teens or college-ish years...nonchalant and rude. They weren't friendly AT ALL! Too bad I really liked their crepes but staff attitude is a turn off. I hope their owner cares enough at least to fix this. Come to

Tried the danbing on a friends recommendation. The batter was fresh and crispy. I didn't love the inside flavors, it was a little sweet for me. Overall I think it would be good with a different flavor.

Came here on a rainy Monday evening and loved the crepes i ordered! Fresh strawberries and warm crepes that aren't too sweet. The cookie butter wasn't too heavy and the service was great, plenty of parking. Apparently it was busy before I came but they were nice to clean off our seating area for us! Would definitely come again to try the other crepes. Good price too!

Ask the Community - Melange Creperie

    Do they have Oat milk?

    Yes.

Are there any gluten free options that haven't been cross contaminated?

I don't think so...they do not have a specific crepe iron or pan used for one type of crepe, if that is what you're asking. The GF crepe is made on its own and it is possible to adjust the ingredients for each crepe to suit your needs.… Read more

Is the Hot chocolate noteworthy here?

It's just hot chocolate...which always means yes.

    Do they have whipped cream?

I spoke with them and they related that they don't have whipped cream.

Wholly Crepe!! Russian Bistro - Tomball…read more What does authentic Russian hospitality look like? It looks less like a restaurant and more like a small doorway into someone's home -- a place where food is not rushed, and conversation is part of the meal. EXTERIOR: At first glance the building is modest, almost shy. A few outdoor seats, a quiet frontage, and public parking just around the corner. The kind of place you could easily pass -- and shouldn't. INTERIOR: Once you go up the steps, open the door, and the Northwest Houston surroundings fall away. The room feels lifted from a Russian village house, ( ): warm wood floors, wooden window frames, and intimate spacing. If you've ever been to Russia or watched any of the Russian movies or cartoons, this space will be familiar. Four tables and sixteen chairs, sit to the left; to the right, a narrow staircase evokes a country dacha, (). Larger tables gather families together, even a few small chairs waiting for children. Main room offers unique, (in glass shelves) Lomonosov Porcelain 1744 dishes, from St. Petersburg. As well as, carved wooden dishes, hand-painted details. Ask Mila and Bill for details. RUSSIAN HOSPITALITY: Arriving shortly after opening, Bill greeted me with a smile. Conversation came naturally and without agenda, as if we've known each other a long time. Mila, came out shortly after from the kitchen and I was able to converse with her in Russian and English. Both shared their meet story and how they decided to start this adorable business, May 2015. The story feels better heard from them directly. I set down to look at their abundant menu options. Meals here require patience. Many dishes are prepared from scratch. Part of Russian Hospitality is to welcome you in to their home, sit you down, spike up a genuine conversation and make a delicious home cooked meal. The rhythm slows; the outside schedule becomes irrelevant. I decided to order four of their popular dishes; #7 Tvorog Crepe, #24 Smoked Salmon Crepe, Siberian Pelmeni Bowl, and Cheburek. Let's go over each dish briefly. Gordon Ramsay once said - The way to know when something is cooked from scratch or microwaved is by the amount of steam or sizzling coming from the plate. #7 Tvorog Crepe - $12 Homemade Ricotta Cheese, Choice of Berries, Condensed Milk or Honey. I ordered mine with mixed berries, white powder and condensed milk. Something about taking each bite dipped in condensed milk with all the toppings makes your taste buds dance. Generous portions. #24 Smoked Salmon Crepe - $16 Tvorog Cheese, Salmon, Cherry Tomato, Green Onion, Salted Dill. As someone that adores a good salmon dish, clean flavors and a proper texture contrast -- delicate fish against warm crepe. The pairing works and generous portion. Siberian Pelmeni Bowl (24ct) - $17 Handmade dumplings in butter with your choice of dipping sauce. True Russian Hospitality - dish ware presentation along with the cuisine. The three-layered, brown color bowl looked presentable. Pelmeni looked freshly made and the steam coming from the bowl would make Gordon Ramsay smile. A slightly meatier filling would improve the ratio, but the flavor remains familiar and nostalgic. Cheburek - $9.50 Handmade Fried Meat Pie filled with Ground Beef & Onion. Served with your choice of dipping sauce. Good presentation and the taste was a good pairing combination with sour cream. Exterior texture was crispy, while the interior was soft. A fuller filling would strengthen it. OVERALL EXPERIENCE: While photographing the dishes, some cooled before I could eat them. Mila noticed and worried -- a small moment can be explained. If you've been around a Russian woman, you know they want nothing but the best for you when it comes to food. Wholly Crepe!! Offers some of the most unique and delicious cuisines for those who crave something different. Everything is made to order, from scratch, in small batches preserving authenticity and flavor. Come prepared to pause. The reward is a meal that feels cooked for you, not merely served to you.

The good: cute decor (there's a display case full of tea sets), and food flavors were fine (but…read morenothing to write home about). The bad: My first big gripe is the water. There's an expectation that in the US, tap water is free. Places that only have bottles typically will say, "We have bottled water; is that okay?" if you order water. This place didn't. They just brought out bottles. They're charging $2 each. Portion sizes are very small for what you're paying, and for the actual cost of the ingredients. My crepe was essentially a light snack for $14. Family friendliness is mixed. They're welcoming of kids, but there is no kids menu, and no changing table in the restroom. There's also only one customer restroom, so you're screwed if someone has to be in there for a while. The weird: The music did not match the theme or ambiance. Clearly they are trying to appeal to their customer base's favorite music by playing country hits, which felt a little out-of place. Like many other business in Old Town Tomball, this restaurant is in a converted house. You have to park in back but walk around to the front. Conclusion: If you live crepes or are looking specifically for Russian food, it's worth a try, but I'm not in any hurry to return.

Arriving around lunchtime on a weekday, I had the place to myself which allowed me a unique opportunity to take the place in. That being said, this spot is not overly French cafe themed, but instead a classic suburban strip mall spot with nods to the French peppered throughout the menu and decor. The booth area is well-designed, the spot was clean and the table touched by light so after a great experience chatting with the cashier I was crossing my fingers, hoping the food matched the vibe. I had a crepe Mexicana (because who has ever heard of that?!), a croque monsieur with tomato soup, and a dessert crepe because y'all know I always save room for dessert. It took a minute to be prepared, but I'm willing to wait for a fresh made meal. Everything, was delicious. Crepe texture was on point, and each crepe was stuffed to the Gods. Well, Cy seems to be the hardest word, so I'm going to Press on with my reviews without saying it. I don't really like Crepes unless I'm in France. The Japanese versions aren't great and I've had a lot of Americanized and Japanese versions over here in the US. Only a few French ones, and only one of the French ones - or maybe two - really impressed me. This one is not bad to be honest. Considering that Houston is kind of obsessed with Crepes I think it's better than a lot of the imitations and it's better than a lot of the really really bad food here at the Cypress outlet mall, which has virtually no good options, and not too many in total either. Also even though I might have leaned towards 3, they had surprisingly nice service and friendly people working here - at least the day that we came - so I will give them a 4-star rating although for food alone it would probably be closer to 3. For five stars they would have to have some genuine French crepes on the menu. And do them well, like Crepes Du Luxe in the West Side Market in Cleveland, who also manage to nearly consistently win my award for nastiest service.
