I went on a Tuesday morning and ordered a jalapeño bagel filled with bacon scallion cream cheese and added extra bacon strips to it. This had me feeling like the food critic in ratatouille when he was having the childhood flashback. 1000/10 My husband ordered a blueberry bagel filled with strawberry cream cheese and he also order the breakfast bagel with avocado and bacon. He said he really really enjoyed them as well. 10/10 I WILL GIVE YOU A WARNING TO NOT COME HERE ON THE WEEKENDS!!!! Being an east coast girly I was disappointed on this one. The Reuben was good. I liked the flavor of the bagel. The bagel on the breakfast sandwich was okay. The bacon was the best part about it. The eggs were overcooked. The service was fairly quick. Decent amount seating. It was funny when they asked if I was eating there or to-go we said for there yet the person running the food seamed shocked about that. Guess the communication wasn't the best. Service is always good! I always get the salmon bagel and their vanilla latte and they never miss! Ambiance is pretty chill I've never stayed but they do have some outdoor seating which is probably nice on a sunny day since it's shaded. Regular order for the week or weekend. Always fresh and tasty. Bagels are good. I prefer the Everything. Cream cheese is softer and more of a whip than some others and I prefer it. Breakfast sandwiches are a full meal: bagel, egg, protein. Their orange juice is fresh and a personal favorite. I still need to try their Rueben for lunch. I can only imagine it's good. Previously the home of Revolution, one of my favorite granola crunchy spots in the city, I arrived to Space City skeptical. To be fair, I've heard nothing short of praise for this spot, so I figured it was time I experienced it myself. While they offer a drive thru, I chose to enter and order. Protip: Midday on a weekday, this is the way to go! No line, no stress, and the sweet smell of fresh bagels. While I waited awhile for my smoked salmon bagel and a cookie, everything was delicious. The bagel was incredibly fresh, and the s'mores cookie was right up my alley- a melty chocolate chip cookie topped with bruleed marshmallow fluff, and a few graham cracker sprinkles, I'm adding this baby to my rotation. I get it, the parking lot is intimate, and the space itself can be tight. The neighboring road is always busy, and the patio is going to be a no mist tones of the year due to the weather, but if you can see beyond that, and/or order your bagels beyond the breakfast rush, you're in for a treat! read more

Ordered via a delivery app so did not have to deal with a long wait or customer service. My 1/2 dozen bagel order was incorrect - didn't get to try most of the bagels we picked. Overall the bagels are a-okay: they are fairly dense and chewy. The cream cheese is more whipped. Would possibly return if I lived in the area. read more

Space speed bagels was slammed on a Saturday at 11. Parking lot full. Nowhere near enough spaces. Got a blueberry bagel with bacon, egg, cheddar cheese, and mayo. Mayo didn't add much. I could see it with the spicy mayo. One big observation is that it was slooooowww. For a bagel shop this should be quick and in and out. A ton of people waiting and not space for them. Look - most of the negative reviews seem to be "small parking lot" or "it was super packed, and service was slow." True the parking lot isn't huge and sure, if any restaurant is VERY packed service tends to slow down. My take is that this place gets busy because it's low key fire! Went for the first time and it wasn't tooo busy. Service time for a dozen bagels was decent and they were amazing. So many options, the bagels are all fresh and not dry, and the seasonings were delicious. The bagels are also all large so bang for the buck was good. Omg try their stuffed bagel! It was amazing, it tastes like a garlic knot, so warm and flavorful. I also got their salmon bagel and it was great as well. They have a drive through which is a plus and indoor and outdoor seating as well. Staff was friendly and the vibe inside was relaxed. A bit overpriced but cool cafe space and nice service! I just realized that this business was originally Brazos Bagels - I had heard about the hype online and them selling out at soft opening. The first time I ordered a bagel from here it was absolutely delicious despite the fact that it was loaded with way too much cream cheese. The option to have the cream cheese on the side would've been appreciated. Today I ordered two gluten free single bagels with the cream cheese on the side. The bagels were cold and hard. I wanted to like this place. So much that I tried it twice thinking that the first time was just an off day. First time had everything bagel with scallion bacon cream cheese. The bagel itself had no flavor and did not taste fresh. I've never had an everything bagel have no flavor. The cream cheese basically tasted like plain cream cheese with a hint of blue cheese. Weird that I would taste that. The second time was a similar experience. Ordered plain bagel with raspberry chipotle. Again the bagel didn't taste fresh. The raspberry chipotle just had a subtle raspberry taste, no chipotle. I truly hope that these are jut growing pains and with a few small changes, they will be great. read more

I'm going through my CC bill and they gave themselves an extra tip. My card was charged $23.42. Like what in the actual f&$k. I was on a business trip so these charges were on my corporate card. I was excited to see a new bagel shop open especially in this part of town! Their cream cheeses are delightful and love how they make their bagel sandwiches! They tend to over bake their bagels and they end up burnt (drives me nuts). They also do not take orders over the phone which is inconvenient when you randomly decide while you're out that you want a bagel. After moving to Houston two years ago I have had a constant battle of finding a legitimate bagel place that not only had good bagels, but proper BEC. Space City bagels. You complete me and make this New Yorker so so soooo happy. Went with the classic toasted everything with veggie cream cheese and a BEC (bacon egg and cheese) on a toasted everything. Both were immaculately baked and delicious. Tasted exactly like the bagels from home. It's now 12 hours after I've eaten both (half of each because they bagels are huge) and I am still thinking about it.
