It was so sweet it tasted more like a dessert than larb. Authentic larb should be: * Tangy from lime juice * Savory from fish sauce * Fresh from herbs * Spicy from chilies * Slightly nutty from toasted rice powder Instead, it lacked the bright, bold flavors that make larb one of Thailand's most famous dishes.
