Been here twice. I like the options they give as the variety is big. Someone posted a picture saying too many options, what is some of this? Vegetables you moron. If you have never been you start by picking your salad or a wrsp. Then you begin the process by picking your leaf bed, spinach, kale, iceberg, romaine, etc. You then move onto the selection of vegetables. Then a meat if you so choose. The salad is $8, meat is an additional $2, seafood is $3. There are 6 or 8 dressings to chose from. I have had great service and salad both times in there. Nice little place to grab a salad. Liked their serving system...cafeteria type line, much like Chipolte, where you tell the employee what you want and they mix it together. Start with your salad basics like Romaine and other mixed lettuces, then add other veggies, meats, and dressing. Your server does all this for you as you move down the line. I'm guilty of coming here more than 3 times a week. I can't help it! You get tons of salad! Enough to feed a small village in India for like 2 weeks. Everything is super fresh, clean atmosphere, and the employees are super nice like the girl with the tattoos (the other ones are kind of grouchy and rush you along the line and roll their eyes because you can't decide between balsamic vinaigrette or the lemon vinaigrette). This place is like a salad bar but tastier! You basically line up and pick your salad, toppings, meat, dressing and bread. You can even have your salad put in a wrap if you like, which is a nice option for take out and easy eating. I can't believe I just found out about this place like a month ago. I got like my entire family hooked to salata now! Great selection and everything is always so fresh. My daughter just went into the Galleria location. One of the workers was moving a cart and did not put on a new pair of gloves when she began to prepare the salad for my daughter. Didn't use tongs to get the salad; instead she used her hands wearing the same gloves she was using to handle the cart. Not very good idea in the time of the pandemic. I normally wouldn't think of just a salad as a whole meal, but Salata completely changed that. We eat lunch here multiple times a week. Its a salad bar. But its so much more than a salad bar. Everything is fresh and tastes great. Lots of options. The staff are all friendly. They service a huge volume of people during lunch rush and it is always a quick process. Not feeling a salad? Get a wrap. A little on the pricey side but worth the price. Ideal for gluten free diners or celiacs! Everything is clearly labeled. Fresh ingredients are kept far far away from anything with gluten - wraps, chips, soups, croutons - and the people who handle one don't handle the others. Managers here are great about accommodating medical gluten free needs - they've had one person put on fresh gloves and run it the whole way down the line, they let me break normal procedures and take my bowl off the line before it hits the "contaminated" areas/gloves etc. I have never had an issues being "glutened" here. Really good salad with fresh ingredients. I wish they had a menu with suggestions and a few more non-veggie options for my salad. The dressings are good, but I desire more quantity in dressing. My office uses Foodsby for lunch deliveries and I finally got to try Salata. The salad was absolutely delicious and filling. I did the Salata Mix and kale for the lettuce and topped it with a ton of veggies. I opted to do black beans and eggs to still get protein without having to pay extra for the meat and it definitely kept me full for the rest of the day without feeling too heavy. The herb vinaigrette dressing was so good I may have to go buy a bottle. Pita chips on the side was a satisfying snack I saved for the afternoon. Will definitely order again. read more

I ate here 4 days a week while working in Dallas. It's so simple and easy, though it does have quite a line at peak lunch hour! So get there early or go slightly after 1pm. Tons of salad options and a casual & clean dining area. The small salad with a protein (chicken in my case) came out to exactly $9 and was plenty for a physically active adult. I don't know how to quantify that any differently, but it felt close to 0.75-1lb of food when all was said and done. The larger salad gets you more lettuce base, but the rest remains about the same and ends up $2 more than the small if you get chicken. read more

Salata is the bomb. I come here as often as I can! Compared to similar restaurants like Snappy Salads, Salata's ingredients are superb. You can definitely tell the quality and freshness when you order here. There are also a wide variety of mix-ins to choose from and most do not have an additional cost. I almost always get a wheat spinach wrap with my favorite mix ins, the pesto chicken and the chipotle ranch. Ohhh that ranch is delicious! The great thing about salata is the wide ride of toppings you can add to your salad. They've got the classics but also ones like beets, jicama, alfalfa sprouts, mandarin oranges... any type of salad you're in the mood to make, they've got it! The struggle I find with "build your own" meals is that sometimes I crave a bunch of toppings that don't go well together (like asian barbecue chicken probably isn't the best meat to mix with feta cheese..) so make sure you select a bunch of toppings that satisfy a particular taste palate. Otherwise, mixing as many toppings as you can fit into one bowl may end up tasting less-than-satisfactory as an overall salad. And sadly, you only have yourself to blame when you ARE the chef by creating your own salad/ salad wrap. On a side note, their tomato basil soup is incredible! It deserves a lot more recognition, and with two sizes to order, I recommend pairing a small salad with a cup of soup for a satisfying and filling meal, especially during the cooler months! read more

The healthier version of Chipotle but if you drench your bowl with salad dressing and cheese it can go south real quick. I love this place cause it has over fifty different toppings! I started my customized salad bowl with spring mix and loaded up on carrots, mushrooms, red onion, cilantro, bleu cheese, chicken, and topped it with honey mustard. Probably not the healthiest salad bowl but everything was fresh BUT they did skimp out on the chicken. Overall the salad was good and more filling than I expected. As I said earlier, topping selection is endless at Salata so I'm sure you can put something together that you will enjoy. Avoid coming right at noon on weekdays because there will most likely be a lunch rush of folks lining up. There are rare instances where the line is out the door so I've noticed the sweet spot for timing is right around 11:30-11:45 AM if you can wing that with your daily work schedule. Other than that - Salata never disappoints. You can see everything that goes into your salad or wrap right in front of you. This was my first time having Salata and let me tell you, I am amazed. All of their fruits and vegetables are perfect, crisp, and delicious. They have so many options that are very easy to see and choose from - each with their own corresponding sticker that has calorie listing. The meats available were perfectly cooked and seasoned ( I had the chicken pesto). Their dressings taste so flavorful and there is a different type for every style of salad you would want. Their portions are LARGE, I chose a small salad and still had some left over for later. The best salads in Dallas!!! The ingredients are always fresh and you're able to get as many toppings as you desire! As someone who is always busy and on the go, Salata is a healthy option that I can pick up on a busy schedule. Being a small town girl I thought a salad isn't a meal but rather a side or appetizer but that's far from the truth. These salad portions are so fulfilling that it keeps you stuff all afternoon!
