Great for healthy salad/wraps, many options. Place is very clean and all vegetables are fresh. Went here twice while visiting Dallas.

Salad is fresh and made to order. Food is pretty good and prices are reasonable. The only thing is servers don't cover their mouth on serving line as they talk to customers. We can't see the microscopic spit particles that landed on the food.. read more

Omg!!! Where has this place been all my life?! This place is amazing, I had an appointment in the area and wanted to grab a quick bite to eat after, I used Yelp to help me find healthy restaurants in the area and Salata popped up toward the top of the list. I had a friend who raved about how good it is so I decided to go there. Unfortunately I came during the lunch rush and found myself standing in a line wrapped around the entrance. It took about 20 minutes to get up to the front but I'm happy I practiced patience and stayed! I ordered the small salad and topped it with all types of things like onions, tomatoes, feta cheese, and the list goes on. I opted for the sun dried tomato dressing. By the time I got out of line seats had cleared u and I made my way over to an empty booth in the corner to devour my meal. I was very satisfied with my selection all the ingredients were fresh and flavorful. Another great thing about this restaurant is that they have stickers that inform you how many calories each item has so that you are aware while building your meal, this really came in handy when selecting a dressing option! read more

Salata - Small salad with grilled chicken, and a long list of toppings. Fat free sun dried tomato vinaigrette dressing not pictured. - Salad Near Me - Addison, Texas

If you are looking for fresh salad, unlimited salad toppings (with an additional $2-3 for protein), awesome dressing and soups, this is the place to come. Salata has taken customized salad to a whole new level with online ordering through their website. The line starts with choosing from 3 different types of salad mixes, Salata, Romaine Hearts, Spring Mix, Kale and Spinach. From there you go through the line and choose from different toppings (all with calorie information). You can add protein such as chicken, quinoa and more for $2-small salad and $3-large salad which is 1 or 2 scoops respectively. The dressings are all very tasty, but very high in calorie if you are watching the count. The mango dressing is one of the lowest calorie dressing and didn't mix well with my topping selections very well. My favorite dressing is the fresh herb vinaigrette, which goes well with almost everything even sweet fruits. The atmosphere in Salata is great, which comfortable and clean seating. The music playlist have is very "international" and adds to the ambience. We sat there for a good 2 hours one time and I heard everything from african and middle eastern to thai and japanese. Overall if I'm looking for a healthy alternative after an intense workout or just want my daily intake of fruits/veggies, my mind always goes to Salata! read more

Salata - Mixed romaine and salata mix salad with unlimited fresh toppings, delicious protein and pita chips (on the side) - Salad Near Me - Addison, Texas

What a refreshing change from all the greasy fast food we usually choose for lunch. I tend to avoid the lunch rush traffic of Addison and never really take a lunch, or if i do i wait until the craziness has died down a little bit. Salata shares a parking lot with a bunch of other restaurants and business so when i pulled in the parking lot was completely full. It made me a little nervous thinking i would be waiting in line for 20+ minutes but i walked in and was the first person in line! Soo many different options to choose from it can almost be overwhelming. Luckily no one was behind me so i could take my time a little bit. You can get as many toppings as you want and only the meat/protein costs extra. I got a small salad (add chicken for $3) the portion of chicken was plenty. It was almost too much for me. And the salad was huge as well. Everyone behind the line was friendly and everything was delicious. I will definitely return read more

I ate here three more times this week, all to go orders over lunchtime. They always had my orders ready to go when I arrived. The staff was always warm and friendly. The food was always good. My last order included a cup of their chipotle veggie soup which they bagged in a separate bag in case it leaked which was awesome. It was delicious too. If your trying to eat healthy but don't want to spend a ton of cash, Salata is a great option! read more

I can't say enough about this place. If it was walking distance to my apartment I would literally eat here every single night. Always fresh, plenty of choices of salad toppings, dressings, etc. You can ask for multiple scoops of something if one scoop just won't do, and they have the calories listed so you can add up what you're getting if that's important to you. I am not really sure about a couple of reviews that said the salad was tasteless. Perhaps these are folks who douse everything in salt? read more

What a great find! The employees were so kind and patient, and encouraged me to sample different dressings before making a decision. The veggies were fresh, and the protein selection was fantastic. The only thing that is keeping this place from 5 stars is the dressing selection. The only two low calorie dressings (sun dried tomato and mango) are not something I would enjoy on my salad. I eventually just indulged and went with chipotle ranch (which was delicious), but I wish there were a few more lower calorie options. Great place for lunch! read more

Salata - Salad to go with chipotle chicken, lots of veggies and a little chipotle ranch. - Salad Near Me - Addison, Texas

The salads here are very good although they use the Subway philosophy of big helpings of cheap stuff and going chintzy on the better ingredients. I'm actually a regular customer here but am ranking them lower because the place is going downhill. The furniture is in disrepair, to the point where I actually cut my finger sliding into a booth with insanely worn-out upholstery. You have to wonder if they're going out of business, so won't spend a nickel on upkeep, or are they just the type of management team that looks the other way when effort has to be expended. Either way, I wonder if that lack of concern carried back into kitchen cleanliness. Unfortunately, Addison doesn't post restaurant health inspection scores, so no way to know. read more

Was in the mood for something light and saw this place. Yelped it and the reviews were all positive and although we had heard about it we've never tried one. Well glad we did! So good! So fresh! So clean! With great customer service! The house vinaigrette is to die for! Fresh herb vinaigrette! The best! Greens of all kinds! Fresh toppings everything you can think of! So many varieties of chicken. Try the pesto! I can eat here every day! Salata you guys rock! read more

I absolutely love this place! I am not a big salad person but here you can be as healthy as you want or as indulgent as you want. They have so many choice that there is something for everyone. Basically you pick your greens, added veggies or fruits/nuts then the protein (chicken/tofu). They have a variety of dressings that are very low calorie to your creamy high fat high calorie yummy dressings. There bread sticks are fresh and tasty and they offer some great tea and lemonade options. I think I could eat here daily. read more

Be careful if you eat here and have allergies. They cross contaminate everything. They stick their hands in each ingredient instead of using the spoons provided to add them to your salad. Very careless. read more

Salata - Salad Near Me - Addison, Texas

Hands down, my favorite salad-bar style restaurant. You get to totally design your salad, choosing from multiple green types (Salata mix, kale, etc.), veggies, fruits/nuts, and multiple protein choices (nice 4 oz. cuts of Salmon, multiple Chicken types, etc.). The dressing options at restaurants are often more of the same tired choices. But the Salata fat-free Sundried Tomato Dressing delivers a refreshing healthy option that has an amazing taste! If they bottled it, I would buy it! Glenn Almack read more

I came here at 4:15pm with my sister and it wasn't busy which was nice. It's a salad place but you can also get wraps. I got the Texas bbq wrap and put a lot of different toppings in the wrap. They have around 40 different toppings to choose from. I choose sun dried tomatoes, marinated chicken ($3),pineapple,feta cheese, chipotle sauce and pasta as my toppings. My sister got a kale salad and she put a lot of veggies as her toppings. I also like how each topping lists the calories.this place is really healthy for you and a lot of the toppings are low in calories. The price for two people to eat here Is a little over $20. You get your money's worth and it fills you up. read more

Salata is the bomb. Great selection of ingredients to choose from, very low prices, and friendly service. Quick, assembly line style of build-your-own salad. Choose between several different greens options (including one with kale) and then add your toppings. Tons of options from vegetables to fruits. Several different dressings to select and add your choice of meat for a couple extra bucks. Not the swankiest environment. But it gets the job done. Clean lines, minimalistic decor, and a small, bright dining area. The salads are huge, ingredients are fresh, and you can be in and out within just a couple minutes. There isn't one thing I don't like about this place. read more

First of all, I'll start off by saying I love Salata. I go to the one in Preston Center frequently but when I started working in Addison I was crushed that I wouldn't be able to go to Salata at lunch. I was so excited when the new one opened at this location. I have since been twice and had a pretty good experience. However, today might have been my last day. I went in and requested a kids salad like I always do (I can't eat that much!) and was promptly informed that I could not have one because I was not under 10 years old. I've been getting a kids salad at Salata now for forever. In fact, the last time I visited this location the manager/owner himself served me a kids salad with a smile on his face. And yet this time, a not very nice woman informed me that I couldn't have one. I promptly walked out. While the salads are amazing and the topping are endless, they might have just lost a customer. Customer service is soooo important these days. Yes, my salad would have cost less than a normal one but wouldn't they rather have me as a weekly customer pay $4 less than lose a customer all together. I hope the management reads these reviews because I'm sure they would want to know that they are employing some no so nice people. Every kids menu in the world says "under 12" but I've never heard of someone legitimately not letting you order from it. read more

Probably the BEST tasting salads that I have ever eaten in my life. Not only do you get to pick your toppings, but they don't limit you to the number of toppings you can choose. They have SO much FRESH variety, you feel bad for holding up the line or just getting too much in your salad. The amount of salad that you get for the small price of $10 is just short of amazing. I am so glad my coworker introduced me to this place. You can choose all sorts of meats, INCLUDING salmon, veggies, nuts, fruits, croutons, bread...variety galore! However, be wary of their delicious house made dressings...not as healthy as it seems. My chicken salad, with two scoops of fresh herb vinaigrette ended up being close to 900 calories. Kinda makes you want to eat a burger instead but besides that, it is so filling that sometimes you have to take some home. You can either do wraps or salads and they are so fast and friendly. I definitely crave Salata at times, especially on Sundays when they're closed. Don't be surprised if there is a line, it only goes to show how awesome this place is. read more

Great salads!! Like subway for salads. It Can definitely get expensive if you add a lot of meat but still very good!

Saw the big Now Open sign while driving to the liquor store, so I stopped by on my way home. Liquor and salad! Lots and lots of toppings! It's Sweet Tomatoes x 2. Different dressings that you can sample too. I tried Lemon and Mango. Went with the mango. They have your choice of differently spiced chicken and other meats. AND they have seafood. I've never had a seafood salad, so I went with their seafood medley: fake crab meat, salmon, and shrimp. It came with a slice of seasoned bread as well. All for a grand total of $11. EEK! It was definitely enough to last me two meals, but I wish their base price was posted. All I saw was +$2 or +$3 for certain add-ins, so I didn't know what to add to. Maybe I missed it. Friendly waitress. Clean and fresh. I'll definitely go back when I'm craving a salad and don't want to buy all the different ingredients. read more

Interesting idea, create your own salad from a ton of different ingredients. It's kind of like a salad bar, but they make it for you. Besides the great protein selections including shrimp and tasty looking chicken, I think what makes Salata, or any other salad restaurant, different than a salad bar is that they mix up your salad with the dressing for you instead of you dropping a dollop of dressing in the center of a salad and ending up with one section of soggy greens. Don't you just hate that? I wasn't prepared to figure out what to put in my own salad. I was hoping they had a menu of salads to choose from (like Snappy Salads) with the option to create your own. If you end up with a nasty salad, it's all your own fault since you choose the ingredients. And I ended up with a nasty tasting salad. I urge you to check out the meat selections before you decide what to put in your salad. I got so excited with all the veggie options, then I got really excited when I saw the shrimp, then I ended up with shrimp in a salad with veggies that didn't go. That's why I would rather them have some menu options for salad. I don't want all that responsibility of figuring out what goes with what. If I did, I would have made a salad at home. Overall, it's a nifty idea, but go easy on the toppings unless you want a nasty rainbow of flavors. If you know exactly what to put in the perfect salad...well, good for you Fancypants! I'll need another trial. read more

What can I say about Salata? A lot of great things. The dressings are excellent and the ingredients are fresh and they do not skimp out on anything. One of my friends compared it to a Chipotle setting, which I agree is very similar except for the fact that they are generous with their servings. I love the chipotle chicken with my salad. I would have to say this is one of my favorite salad places! read more

um love this place!! $8 for a plain salad and as you add meet it's $10 or $11 bucks depending on what you get. (I always get the seafood mix) It's huge btw, the amount of salad you get and of course the toppings is unlimited. It's also recycle friendly and i love how they have water/ice machine and also lemon for your water. I always feel so healthy when I'm done with this place :) read more

Salata is a great fresh lunch option. The salads are huge, and the wraps are yummy. You have a wide choice of tortillas (wheat, southwest, spinach), and you can add chicken or seafood. Loy's of veggie and dressing options as well. The wraps come with pita chips. I was not a fan. They seemed a little overcooked. However the wrap was plenty. It takes a while to get through the line at lunchtime, but there is ample seating. The parking lot is a bit of a zoo, so careful. read more

There are salad bars....and there is Salata. Everything they have is fresh...and you can pick what you want in your salad as you walk down the fresh buffet. You aren't going to find white pieces of lettuce in this place. Everything is colorful...they way salad should be. You have different greens to choose from....and then the toppings. You have everything from black beans...fruit...nuts...meats...and fresh dressings to choose from. I love the fresh herb vinaigrette. You can even take a bottle of dressing home with you to have at home. Is it a little pricey...sure....but its healthy and you get a big ass salad to eat. You can order online and it will be ready for you when you get there. So many healthy possibilities here at Salata. read more

Let's say you skipped your gym day because ___________ ... No need to feel bad! Just come here!!! You'll love the variety of unlimited veggie choices that you can put into your salad bowl which comes out to be an awesome portion for an average of $10! & if you're not much of a salad person, they also have it to where you can make it into a wrap! Oooooh and if you have a hard time choosing a salad dressing, try the ginger lime because it's pretty amazing. read more

Excellent quality produce and value. A "regular" salad with protein makes 2 meals for me - only $12! Delicious dressings and emphasis is placed on nutrion, not just allergy free recipes. My one gripe? The employees like to chit chat with regulars to the point that they hold up the line - which is out the door at lunch time. Regardless, I'll be back. And I am BEGGING for one to open up in OKC. The salad alternatives here are abysmal. read more

Just no. Not impressed. I got one of the most expensive, tasteless salads here. The one thing that was good was the chicken. It had a good texture but was covered in sauce. For $13 I expected a lot better from a fast food place. read more

Stumbled a crossed this amazing place while on my lunch break heading to another restaurant. As I was driving by it caught my eye cause they specialize in salads and wrap (and it's so hard to find healthy food while on the go) so I decided to check it out. And boy, was it amazing. I built my own wrap with their wheat tortilla. I was going to try the Thai ginger one cause I love ginger but was a little nervous about how it would taste with my salad selection. I built my own wrap, with spring mix, veggies, and protein (they offer all types of protein such as; chicken, shrimp, salmon, and so on). And let's just say I will be back!! My wrap was amazing. This is the best salad place in the Dallas area! It's like a Chipotle assembly line with 30+ ingredients. Everything looks fresh and you can get either a salad in a bowl or a wrap. Really recommend this place for a healthy lunch or dinner. read more

After spending most of the past year on the road eating out for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, a quick glance at the mirror reminded me that I need to balance myself out with something a tad healthier. Seeing so much Yelp love for this place, I had to give it a shot. Salata's assembly-line layout makes my IT engineer soul happy. Logical, and ever so efficient, you start with lettuce, spinach, kale, or arugula and move your way through corn, snow peas, celery, carrots, nuts, beans, and just about every option you could imagine would belong on a salad. Finally, with the options of myriad different styles of chicken, baked salmon, or shrimp, your salad moves into some real next-level flavor. Finish it off with croutons, pita chips, or a quarter-avocado before moving on to the register. About the only things that I didn't like here were the non-salad items. The broccoli soup was decidedly sour, and when I complained about it, I was told it was made fresh every day and it was left as such. Also, the chipotle bread tasted fairly stale, even after being toasted, so you may want to skip that as well. I look forward to being back next time I'm in Dallas. I can see why Yelp is in love with this place. read more

Awesome salad place. Great for the control freak in that you pick your own ingredients from and there are tons of them! Four or five different salad bases, at least 30 veggies, good protein and nuts and seeds options too. Legumes, bread, and peppers as well. This review is taking a lyrical tone and I don't know why! Pleasant staff and efficiently run operation. Very clean. The wraps and salads are huge (Texas style!) so you'll leave very full. Inexpensive maybe 7-12$ for a full meal. This places gets busy at lunch but don't be thrown off by the line, it moves briskly due to the aforementioned efficiency of operations. read more

Been here twice. I like the options they give as the variety is big. Someone posted a picture saying too many options, what is some of this? Vegetables you moron. If you have never been you start by picking your salad or a wrsp. Then you begin the process by picking your leaf bed, spinach, kale, iceberg, romaine, etc. You then move onto the selection of vegetables. Then a meat if you so choose. The salad is $8, meat is an additional $2, seafood is $3. There are 6 or 8 dressings to chose from. I have had great service and salad both times in there. I have only gone in the late evening. read more

I'm guilty of coming here more than 3 times a week. I can't help it! You get tons of salad! Enough to feed a small village in India for like 2 weeks. Everything is super fresh, clean atmosphere, and the employees are super nice like the girl with the tattoos (the other ones are kind of grouchy and rush you along the line and roll their eyes because you can't decide between balsamic vinaigrette or the lemon vinaigrette).
