Pick two: West coast turkey and Cobb salad
    Annabelle L.

Generally, I like Saladworks pick two options. My usual is the turkey pesto half sandwich and their chicken Cobb salad with dressings on the side. Food: 5 stars because it's healthy and yes, you can tweak the ingredients if you're watching your waistline. Price: 1 star because how much does lettuce cost? I understand healthy food costs more than some pizzas but I still can't get over the fact that my half sandwich and half salad (small portions by the way) costs $11 alone! This is why Saladworks is only when I'm on the go and need to stay eating healthy. Service: 3 stars even though my server was quick and made the order exactly as I requested, there was another staff who was pushy and wanting to move the ordering along by rushing through things and making the ingredients area messy. While I believe all customers appreciate to have their orders prepared quickly but if you're going to make a mess and then try to serve the customers with it, that's a no no for me. Overall, I wished there are more healthy options at Palisades Mall, so I wouldn't have to resort to a very limited option at food court.

    Cobb salad yummy!

Pretty average. I have a salad bar at my college that is on par with this place but priced better. Salad is good, prices are not.

Big fillet for lunch, crisp skin and tasty. The labneh and beets was a nice mezze. We've always liked the Tino's artichoke, but this one could be in second place for us. Shepherd's salad is always nicely seasoned and refreshing. The lentil soup was pleasant as well. It's hardy, flavorful, comes out hot and is a good portion. Overall, I think the lunch fixed menu is a great deal and this place is a gem. My favorite restaurant right now! Remember it's BYOB

The restaurant also had a steady flow of take out orders all night. The meal started with pita and olive tapenade which was delicious. We then ordered the grilled octopus appetizer along with a gyro platter and a chicken platter. The octopus had good flavor but was mushy. I tend to like my octopus on the crispy side with grill marks. The two platter entres were both delicious and large portions. Another great benefit is the restaurant is byob and you can bring your favorite wine or beer. I will come back to try more items on their menu.

We called in advance and they set up standing tables for us in a nice line, which made it easy for everyone to mingle, eat, and drink. Service was great and very attentive throughout happy hour. Food and drinks came out fast, and it's hard to beat their happy hour pricing for food and beverages (especially beer), plus their huge beer selection. The only minor frustration is when they're out of my favorite beers, which seems to happen pretty often. Also, one beer at our table came out foul, but the waitress handled it immediately and brought a replacement with no issue. Overall, a really great time. I still highly recommend Yard House for family dinners or work gatherings, especially during happy hour.

But if the food keeps tasting like this, I may have to reconsider my entire personality. The second we walked through the doors, everything slowed down. Soft lighting, warm energy, the smell of fresh spices in the air, quiet conversations floating through the room -- it didn't feel like walking into a restaurant, it felt like walking into someone's home. The kind of place that makes you instantly exhale without even realizing you were holding tension in your body. Nothing about this place feels rushed. The atmosphere invites you to stay awhile. To eat slowly. To talk longer. To actually enjoy the people sitting across from you. We started with the tempura battered vegetables and good lord... crispy, fresh, addictive. Then came the Red Dot salad -- easily one of the best chopped salads I've ever had. Fresh ingredients, bold flavor, every bite tasted intentional. And then the tiki masala arrived and honestly... it felt comforting in a way food rarely does anymore. Warm, rich, healing, like the culinary version of a hug from a stranger who somehow already understands you. You can feel the love in this place. In the food. In the atmosphere. In the people. If you're in a rush, grab takeout. But this is really a place meant to be experienced. Sit down. Stay awhile. Eat, talk, laugh, savor. Total eat, pray, love energy.
