I love the fact that you can get healthy food in a quick time frame. However, they can't seem to keep consistent staffing and many of the staff are not friendly or polite. Some of the girls they've hired recently are the perfect example of the "Gen Z stare" where they don't greet you, don't verbally answer when you talk to them and some of them give you literally barely any ingredients at all. The last time, I got about half the amounts I normally get. The salads are kinda pricey but if you order correctly, very healthy. Just don't drown your salad in rich dressing. Overall, I'd recommend but they need to examine why they can't seem to retain and attract staff that actually know how to communicate with humans. read more

Swung in with my husband, it was busy but it was lunch. The customer service was amazing even though they are shorthanded. Food was great and quick service. So returning back to the allentown area, my healthy stop was always salad works, however I can say this has been scratched off the list of to go places As I have been gone 3 years, the quality of food has gone down so much the salad was not eatable to my standards The chicken had a different smell to it and the produce was not fresh like it use to be. I used to work close by here so I came for lunch almost every day. The manager remembered me by name and always greeted me when he saw me! I would honestly visit just to see his smiling face again. All of the staff are very nice and welcoming and they don't rush you even when they're busy which is a nice change. Even under stressful settings, they still manage to make it work and I appreciate that a lot. I do wish they had the grill here because it makes for an even wider range of salads to choose from so that's the only reason for the four-star rating but I absolutely love coming here and seeing the smiling faces and the upbeat attitudes. One of my favorite things about Saladworks is the calories on the sign. Under "Make your own" salad, the calories are from like 60 to 900 hahah... SO MANY CHOICES! I really enjoyed my Saladworks experience, although I was a little confused (and as a male didn't ask) about how you can add protein to your built salad. I like this place, but with a caveat - if you have a food allergy like me, salads are basically off limits. They are dropping different ingredients (on accident) in different foods, so your carrots might accidentally get a coating of something else. I stick to things other than salads and note my allergy to the person taking my order. I wouldn't even trust it if they offered to get the ingredients fresh out of the big bins for you - I've watched them refill during the day, and gloves go from bucket to bucket, so there's too much of a risk of cross contamination. I like their fusion sandwiches - good foccacia, juicy chicken and fresh veggies. My favorite is the chicken monterey with the salsa mayo - but all of the sandwiches are decent. A sandwich normally takes about ten minutes, so don't be in a rush. I have to avoid the salad bar due to the potential for cross-contamination, but my husband loves the salad there. Fresh ingredients mixed in front of you - and you can easily control the dressing. A little pricey (from $7.29~-$9 for salad - $8 for sandwiches with chips) but not unreasonable. Friendly folks who never bat an eyelash at my request for fresh gloves - much better than a lot of places when it comes to food allergies. read more

The employees were attentive and worked well together to keep fresh ingredients available. I went early just before the lunch rush and the place was more then adequately staffed. The mix of lettuce, chicken, egg, croutons and the wheat roll on the side did an amazing job of filling me with a balanced attack of carbs, protein and veggies. The place has a cafeteria like setup. The seating was well spaced and clean! BUT....The place is orange. Orange is everywhere! Imagine being swallowed by Gossamer (hairy, orange monster from Looney Tunes) and eating a salad inside. I visited Saladworks with friends for lunch. This was my first visit to Saladworks. It's next door to Primo Hoagies so I always end up there when I have a choice. This is basically a huge salad bar where you pick what you want in your salad, the servers put it in a bowl for you and charge you a lot of money for it. The ingredients were very fresh and the dressing was OK, but it was pretty pricey. I've had better salads at other places that included tons of grilled chicken for less money. It was meh read more

Firstly; they always make it to go without asking, which is annoying because 9/10 I like to eat in. Secondly, and this bothers me more than anything, the price is NEVER the same any time I go. Customer service is horrible. I have been a Salad Works customers for years but the location on Cedar Crest is horrendous. The lunch manager is rude and obnoxious. I ordered my usual Buffalo Chicken Salad substituting Cheddar Cheese for the Tomatoes. Something I have done at that location for years since they changed the makeup of the salad. The manager informed me that the cheese was more expensive than Tomatoes and there would be an upcharge. Something like 30 or 90 cents. Next they changed how they apply the dressings. Now the salad is hardly dressed at all. Its like eating plain lettuce. I understand cost control but not at the sake of quality. Raise the prices but go back to the old policies, substitutions and dressing. But with the rude manager I doubt I will be back. read more

This is the worst saladworks I've EVER been too!!! Workers are arguing, the manager is unbelievably RUDE ! The one person in there a pregnant young lady was the only worker acting professional. She asked how I was today and all I could say was " fine till I walked into this establishment". They are a Complete Mess!! When I tried to speak with the manger he just snapped at me then laughed with other employees about how they were acting and he was the one waiting on me.
