I used to eat here a lot always got a chicken caeser salad but they must've changed their chicken & It's so gross. Maybe I'm just not a fan of what looks like ripped up rotisserie chicken on my salad but to each their own. I would've liked to have known that's what chicken was going to come on the salad & I probably wouldn't have spent the money on it.

    Salad to Go. Caesar Salad

I had the chicken Caesar salad. Terrible. It was so bland and boring. The filler was all spinach. They need a better variety of toppings. Not worth the time or money. My husband finished my salad. I wanted him to return it. This is what's left

I've never been to a Salad and Go my sister recommend to try the wraps. I work down the street went during my lunch today and I was bragging on how good my buffalo wrap was to my co worker when I thought I was biting into a crouton I was actually biting into a ROCK! How the heck do u accidentally miss a rock when making this? I can see maybe a hair finding but not a rock. I've never been to a salad n go and I ordered through drive through im so let down by this place! My molar hurts.

I've been to so many Salad and Go locations, I've lost count. This location left me a bit puzzled. I placed an order on their app before heading to the restaurant. When I arrived, I noticed they have two drive up windows, one of which is dedicated to online orders. Cool! Or so I thought. After checking in, the employees cleared the "standard " drive up window of three vehicles WHICH ARRIVED AFTER ME prior to handing me my order. What is the point of a dedicated pickup window for online pre- orders if Customers have to wait for other orders to be filled first? The order was accurate, so I'm grateful for that. Next time, I'll skip placing an order on their app and get my order quicker.

Talk about healthy, fast, fresh, and cheap! Wow I was super impressed with salad options that are less than $6. I wish they had Salad & Go in more locations and states because I would come here pretty option. I got the BBQ Ranch Salad with Buffalo Chicken as my protein and sauce on the side. The salad was very fresh and it was a good portion size. This salad included avocado, black bean, pico de gallo, corn, and tortilla strips. You can add extra toppings or sub out the protein easily. I went through the drive-thru to order and pick up my food and the line was pretty long, but it moved pretty fast. Very impressed! The drinks are also $1. Next time I may try the wraps and soups, but the salad was amazing and I will get that again when I'm back!

If you told a young Joyce that one day she would be both willing to pay to eat salad AND have it as an entree by choice, she would laugh you out the room! Yet here I am as an adult, usually craving a fresh garden salad, and always thinking about some leafy greens. I'm loving all these new Salad and Go locations! I've been a huge fan of their brand, their commitment to supporting local, giving the best prices to consumers, and also giving back to medical workers and teachers during the pandemic. They're truly amazing! Whether it's the Buffalo Chicken or The Cobb, the Thai Chicken or the Jalapeño Ranch, they have something for everyone. Mix and match their proteins, get tofu instead of meat, add/subtract an ingredient or two from your order, whatever! They can do it. They also have $1 drinks (including cold brews) that you really can't beat. Also on their menu are wraps/burritos, smoothies, and soups. They motto themselves as a drive-thru revolution and they live up to their name. In a fast-paced world where we're always on the go Go GO, it's good to know we have a fast food drive-thru option that's healthy and affordable. Most salads are $5.74! Um, yes please!

STOP WHAT YOU'RE DOING AND READ THIS--Portillo's at 7200 W Ray Rd in Chandler Has Just Redefined…read more"Heaven on a Plate" with the BIG BEEF DIPPED and That CHEESE SAUCE... OMG! I've had Italian Beef before. I've loved Italian Beef before. But nothing--NOTHING--prepared me for the transcendent, jaw-dropping, flavor-explosion experience that is ordering the Big Beef DIPPED at this Chandler location. If you haven't done it yet, you haven't lived. And if you've had it elsewhere but haven't had it here with their cheese sauce... well, buckle up, because you're about to discover your new favorite thing on the entire planet. From the second you walk into Portillo's on Ray Road, you can smell the magic--crisp sport peppers, rich au jus, and that unmistakable aroma of slow-roasted beef that makes your stomach growl instantly. But the real moment of truth comes when you look that server in the eye and say: "I'll take the Big Beef, DIPPED, LOADED with cheese sauce. And I mean loaded." Watch their face light up--they know. They understand. This is not just a sandwich; it's a ritual, and this location performs it with reverence. Then it arrives. Oh. My. Goodness. The bread is drenched--and I mean perfectly, gloriously drenched--in that deep, savory au jus, so every inch is saturated with rich, beefy flavor. It's not soggy; it's luscious. It's a sponge for joy. And then... the cheese sauce. Sweet, spicy, velvety, liquid gold--it's like someone took pepper jack, dreams, and a touch of heaven and whipped it into a creamy, molten ribbon that cascades over every millimeter of that dipped bread and tender, shreddy beef. The first bite is not just a meal--it's a religious experience. The crunch of the giardiniera, the pop of a sport pepper, the warm, juicy beef, the cheese sauce pulling in golden strands... it's an OMG moment so intense you might actually forget your own name for a second. You'll hear yourself making sounds you didn't know you could make. You might cry a little (happy tears). You might order a second one before you've even finished the first. And here's the thing--the Chandler location executes this with flawless, almost artistic precision. The line moves fast, the staff is smiling, and they don't skimp. They don't hold back on the beef, they don't drizzle the cheese sauce like it's an afterthought--they PILE IT ON with pride. You can tell this team lives for these moments. They're not just serving food; they're delivering pure, unadulterated happiness. Even the atmosphere feels electric--like everyone in the room knows they're about to have their day made. You'll see strangers nodding at each other in mutual respect over their sandwiches. You'll hear "OMG!" echoed across the dining room (seriously). And when you finish that Big Beef Dipped--cheese sauce glistening on every corner, not a drop of au jus left--you'll sit back with a food coma smile so wide it hurts, already plotting your next visit. Bottom line: If you are within 50 miles of 7200 W Ray Rd, you have no excuse. Go. Right now. Order the Big Beef DIPPED with EXTRA cheese sauce. Thank me later. And maybe bring a napkin--because that cheese sauce is so good, you're going to want to lick every last drop off your fingers. Five stars? Try FIVE OUT OF FIVE STARS PLUS A STANDING OVATION! This is the best sandwich I've ever had in my life, and I'm pretty sure it's illegal to be this good.

On the first visit I ordered a chicken caesar salad and it was not bad. The issue was that I attempted to pre-order online on my phone and the order menu would not offer curbside pickup. So I decided to call the order in and a pleasant young man assured me he could bring me my order when I arrived because on was on crutches that day. However, when I arrived and was parked directly in front of the entrance with my car, only 8ft away, I called to announce my arrival. This time a woman answered the phone and I could sense immediately a change of the cheerful demeanor that I had experienced only minutes before. She confirmed that my order was ready and I asked her could she hand it to me while I'm in my car only a few feet from their front door. She gave me much attitude and did not want to bring the card swipe to my car. She protested but conceded. The store was practically empty. I took my food and left, kinda in a not so happy mood. The 2nd visit was today. Again on crutches but this time I hobbled into the restaurant and placed my order and I opted to eat inside the restaurant. I wanted to keep it simple today. I did not want all the extra options offered. I ordered a Ranchero Wrap, "without a side." I explicitly made this a point. Yet! The cashier attempted to pressure my to buy a soup and side that it would cost as much as the original side, some chips and salsa! She said the soup would only be $4 and some change. I had to insist that I did not want the soup. Plus the side soup was so tiny it definitely was not worth the cost. I asked for a cup for water and found my way to a table and then I realized carrying a cup of water to my table was not working out to wall with crutches. None of the staff provided any assistance so I sat down and begin to think out a strategy to retrieve my water when a patron came by and offered assistance. Phew! I received the "wrap" and it basically was a regular sized tortilla cut in half and folded one time because of the size of the tortilla one could only fold one side over the other. I've never seen a "wrap/tortilla" like this before in my life and had I known I think I would have been more pleased with some of the sandwiches that I saw served to the other patrons. The wrap/half burrito/tortilla had decent flavor but nothing that made me say wow. I think that in the future if I'm in the Gilbert area I will stick to that one. I have had a tremendous amount of success and satisfaction at the Gilbert location. At the Chandler location, meh.... I've seen and experienced enough. Oh... and the store was about the 1/4 capacity and there were so many tables that had not been cleared and clean.

As for the food, we had the Fish & Chips with a Mahi Mahi Slaw & Fries, the Ahi Poke Tacos which come in Wonton shells. Hot Honey and Sausage Pizza was great. The Barbacoa Nachos had all the right ingredients & the Double Smash Burger had only some "fancy sauce" on the plate. The Tempura Green Bean, can't remember who ordered, but were good with the chipotle ranch sauce. With me, I'm all about the cocktails, so I treated myself to both the Froze Margarita & the Chi Chi. They automatically upgraded my fries to large. The fries were just a little crispier and a little warmer, not hot. Weird! But the fries were tasty! Now my hot dog. It wasn't much warmer than my first batch of fries. Plus it didn't taste as good as the Tempe location. It was still good, but I think if the hot dog was hot it would have been better.
