My favorite here is the Buffalo Chicken Salad (Carrots, Celery, Banana Peppers, Tomatoes, Croutons, Romaine, Buffalo Chicken paired with a Creamy Blue Cheese Dressing - 320 calories). The Buffalo Chicken Salad used to be a seasonal item but they have since added it permanently to their menu which makes me happy. I keep a container of blue cheese at home to crumble more in when I'm being indulgent. Aw yis! Come here when you need to hit the drive-thru line but want to eat healthy. These days I only go for the frozen strawberry lemonade. I've had very below par "frozen" strawberry lemonade. It's gotten to the point where I have to ask how frozen it is. Despite asking, their accuracy is SO WRONG. I do notice this location tends to have the least frozen drink. It's frustrating when you ask how frozen it is and they say "as frozen as it can get" and so liquid with a few chunks of ice. I appreciate their honesty at locations where they tell me it's not ready and they can't sell it. I used to eat their salads but no longer eat it. Their salad boxes are large thus making it easy to mix the ingredients. These days, it seems like their saving grace are the breakfast burritos which I still recommend. read more

Salad and Go so far has had pretty fresh salad when I went there. Only once have I had some old pieces of lettuce. Even then they were little pieces mingled here and there. There weren't any huge chunks of old lettuce. My favorite is their Buffalo chicken or regular chicken. I also like the mozzarella balls. They taste sweet and fresh. The carrots shreds are fine. The tomatoes have been generally good. I think only once did I get an old batch of tomatoes. I think of their dressings, the pesto and the balsamic is good. The pesto is a little light on flavor. The balsamic is tangy. I like how they work together. The service was fast as usual and I got what I ordered. This is my go to lunch spot even though there is always a line, it moves quickly. I've had every salad on the menu with chicken or tofu (the tofu here is really good). You won't be disappointed or hungry. The Cobb in my opinion is the most filling (avocado, egg, bacon), the fall harvest with the sweet potatoes is my favorite and I'm currently crushing on the Southwest Sonoran with tofu. Yum! I haven't had the wild rice soup yet but the chicken pot pie soup is delicious. They also make really good and filling breakfast burritos. Drinks menu is pretty great too .. blueberry basil, cucumber mint lemonade, ice tea, cold brew... $1.00 each Salad & a drink $7.75 .. totally affordable, filling, healthy & delicious. I had another great Cobb salad which was very fresh with plenty of delicious chunks of bleu cheese. The strawberry drink on the side was also amazing. I'm from out of state so I was excited when I saw this. it's a great concept and I can see why it's successful. here comes the but..... I can't say enough great things about this local spot as it is always my first go to when arriving in Arizona. I love their various options and we always get something delicious no matter what we pick from their menu. I especially love that you can make any of their salads vegan but they are still filling and tasty! They use fresh ingredients and have a lot of flavor no matter which option you choose. Another amazing factor is there are various lemonades and the small price point. Due to the dryness of the desert I always look to have at least a lemonade or their cucumber mint in the car whenever I'm going somewhere to keep me hydrated. My husband is a big fan of their Arnold palmers as they are not too sweet but have the right mix. We have tried all of their drinks and often will get to you at the same time! Simply incredible. Healthy, cheap, tasty food prepared in an instant. The line at this location can get long, especially during lunch time (this is at no fault of the employees, simply high demand). The company's business model is remarkable, keeping down operational costs and seemingly always running at optimal efficiency. First time trying this place today. The drive through was packed. So was all the outside seating. You can opt to walk up to the order window located on the patio. BTW: There is about 5 tables with outdoor seating only. Circled around and decided to wait in the line of the drive thru. About 5 cars in front of us at 1:15 PM. Got the Southern Caesar Salad. Plenty for two to split. Added a small cup of the Chicken Pot Pie soup and a strawberry/ spinach smoothie. I felt it's a little pricey (almost $17) Salad served with a fresh salsa, sliced radishes, shredded kale and tortilla chips on top. It was just ok. The soup was extremely hot (temperature wise). Chunks of red potatoes, carrots, peas & chicken. Where's the "pot pie"? LOL Wasn't a fan, not a lot of flavor and somewhat bland the broth had an after taste of tap water. The best purchase was the smoothie. Expensive ( at almost $5), but my daughter really enjoyed it and was surprised how you couldn't even taste or recognize the spinach. Menu is simple with lots of options. I've been doing the Cobb salad no onions, w/chicken and adding olives and cucumbers. Right now, no additional charge to add an Item or to swamp our dressing. Ordering at the drive through is great but if you use the app then you can customize and play with the options a little more. I go to the salad and the location almost every birthday. That is always friendly and obliges me with as many Stevia packets as I require. Yesterday after placing my order, my car broke down in the drive-through. Wouldn't shift into neutral, wiring with completely gone. The kindness and service and above and beyond activities of the staff during this experience absolutely filled my heart. Well I apologize profusely and continuously, they look after me, assured me that (even though I know I was holding up their business during prime hours) everything was just fine. One of the staff members, V, Shared their own story of a recent car breakdown in a different drive through, while another staff member whose name I did not yet, brown out his own portable battery jumper and hooked it up to try to get my car running. While I sobbed on the phone to several tow truck drivers, they took care of me. I turned around and he had left me an ice water in the shade even though I told him not to worry about me. I drive by this place everyday and always wondered to eat something healthy once or twice a week. When you are conscious about what you are eating and yet want to enjoy your meal this is the place to be at. After indulging in lot of fat and calorie filled meals for the weekend I wanted to cut down for the start of the week. So, I chose salad and go for my lunch and that was a perfect decision. I drove by and ordered the winter harvest with chicken salad and chicken pot pie soup. It was uber fast, I made a payment and they handed me my box. The salad was super good, with all the greens in right amount, cranberries, sweet potato, chicken, quinoa, Brussel sprouts, oh I could have this all day. I loved every bit in it. I felt good after having this meal and wasn't guilty anymore. The soup was equally good but it had a lot of potato which is not my kind. When we began going to this location, our salads were always ready ahead of time, cheery employees and excellent salads. The last couple of times it has been disappointing. Today, it was 109° outside and I waited almost 20 minutes for my order. I arrived at the time it was supposed to be ready. And I completely understand that things get busy and orders fall behind.
