My mom and I were looking for somewhere to eat when she came up to visit. This place definitely impressed us and was a great treat for her and I. She got the basil duck and I got the drunken noodles, both were incredible!! Delicious and really good prices. Ended the meal with mango sticky rice while was also divine. Very friendly staff and would highly recommend to anyone! read more

Have eaten there (take out) several times. Food was very good. Spices just right. Order correct. Ready on time. Can recommend highly if you like authentic Thai food. read more

I've ordered from here about 6 different times now and everything on the menu has been really good. The pad thai is the only dish I thought could use work, but everything else as super fresh ingredients and nice flavor. Best asian food in windsor for sure read more

My pad se ew was really good! I am super picky when eating out and I will definitely return. The service is great, the food came out promptly and exactly how I ordered. read more

Sala Thai - Pad se ew - Thai Near Me - Windsor, Colorado

Our family favorite go to for carry out or dine in here in Windsor. Fresh ingredients and favorable options from a great family staff. Pad Se Yew, Thai Boat Soup and Panang Curry are some of our favorites. Love them all "HOT", but not Thai Hot (yet) read more

My favorite here is Thai Basil Fried Rice! The friendly owners with great tasting food and ambience is worth the even better prices!

This restaurant used to be fantastic. Kind of gone downhill a little the last 3 or 4 months but still good just not great

It was the family's first time eating Tai and they loved it. Everything was fresh and delicious. The service was great. Chicken was a little over cooked or we may have given them a five-star. We highly recommend them. read more

The dishes were really good. The six of us thought the dinner portions were small in size compared to indoor dining. Too expensive! read more

Always great! Spicy curry and fresh summer rolls! Local favorite and reasonable prices!

Fantastic Thai Food! We went after a day of hiking along the Poudre and doing some local exploring. We weren't disappointed. Due to Covid did take-out. We are a picky bunch....who has food allergies, who is vegetarian, who is vegan, who needs GF, etc (you get the idea....pita's). Food was exceptionally fresh, flavorful and staff was so accommodating given all the dietary stuff. I'd bathe in the peanut sauce if my wife would let me. We placed a large order and it was packed with care, on-time, affordably priced and greeted warmly by the owners. Can't wait to go back! read more

Every dish I've tried is true authentic Thai and sooooo delicious! The owner and staff are all so friendly and personable!!! Love this place!!!! read more

Got their Drunken Noodles; it was amazing. The lunch special included a coconut chicken soup and egg roll, and both of those were amazing. They also have a spicy garlic fish sauce that is very tasty, and very spicy. Loved the whole meal! read more

There's nothing more to add about the delicious food at this place. From my limited experience it's all true. And I agree with all the reviews about the owner and his helpfulness, humor and generosity. I do have one more [owner] observation to make, and this is one that cost him a star. He's a demanding, demeaning boss who doesn't invest in training his staff properly. All servers make mistakes. New servers make a few extra mistakes. There is a proper time & place to deal with it. That time and place is not in front of all the guests while they eat. And especially not if your method of choice is derogatory "barking" at the offender. read more

6 stars........ This has got to be one of the best(if not THE best) Thai restaurants I have ever been to. I have eaten in Bangkok both fine dining and street vendors so I have a little idea of what authentic Thai should taste like. I have eaten pad Thai at numerous restaurants both in Thailand and stateside and it's pretty easy to duplicate, however there are other, more complicated dishes including their authentic selection of soups and salads that are out of his world. There are also some dishes that I might consider fusion with hints of Chinese and Vietnamese. I guess to make a short story long, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone passing through. Moreover it's even worth the trek off the interstate if your not passing through Windsor. Like I said, 6 STARS!!!! read more

Decided to try Sala Thai because it had the best review score for Asian food in Windsor. Ordered take out over the phone so we could come home and enjoy the beautiful day, and we wanted to sit outside. The website was great because it had photos of the food. Too bad it's photos of somebody else's food. When I arrived to pick up the order, it was not what I had asked for, and the staff was rude about me wanting the order corrected, accusing me of ordering the wrong thing. They did fix the order, but without any "thanks" for my business or apologies for the time to correct it. When I got home with the food, I had to laugh at the difference between their website and the actual meal I brought home. It isn't even prepared in the same fashion. All of this would have been forgivable if I enjoyed the food, but I did not. Compared to most other Thai food I've enjoyed, this was very bland, and underwhelming. Definitely won't be a next time. read more

Food is .com. Definitely come and check them out. Food is delicious and consistent. Haven't had a bad meal yet

I had a friend recommend this place so I placed a to-go order for the tofu Pad Thai like I usually do. The person who answered the phone and who paid me out was friendly and efficient. I thought the Pad Thai itself could have used a little more flavor and the tofu could've been cooked a little bit longer. I would give this place another chance in the future, but I'm still searching for my favorite Thai place in the Fort Collins area. read more

Food here is average for thai (the chicken and vegetable deluxe being below average). The food alone gets 2-3 stars. However, the service here is horrible. Extremely rude - with so many other local businesses to support, I will not come here again and I strongly recommend not coming for anyone considering. read more

I can say this place is amazing! I eat at all kinds of Thai places and folks this is it! Best dishes around the state. you cant beat the price , service, and its always a great and a healthy meal! My wife has food allergies and its gluten free too! I have eaten here at least ten times now and its consistently great! I appreciate great food and drive 30miles just to eat here on my days off . I am thankful that the owner came in from out of state and opened up this great place! Give this new place a shot I know you wont be disappointed and experience Thai food at a whole new level! thanks Josh I still LOVE this place!!!!! read more

My boyfriend and I chose this place for the high yelp ratings and if I were only rating the food I would give it a slightly higher score but the kitchen staff was incredibly loud both in the kitchen and out in the restaurant. It was strangely it entertaining but ruined the ambiance. In addition to the obnoxious kitchen stuff, the bathrooms were disgusting. On the bright side the food was fairly good and our second waitress was very pleasant. The first waitress gave us the impression she wanted us to hurry up and order eat, and get out. read more

Phenomenal service compliments the great food at reasonable prices. This is in the top 2% of any restaurant for service. Free extra rice, threw in a cup of soup(didn't come with dinner), brought additional napkins when the nose started to run. Friendly and fast. This was all by the Thai-looking man, not the other American waiters. (he's the owner). The panang curry was loaded with quality ingredients. Extra vegetables for $1. Not too thick; lighter broth. Lunch $6, Dinner $9. Decor and atmosphere are new and inviting. read more

After moving here from the Bay area I anticipated not being able to find authentic Thai food but Sala Thai is great!

I found this place browsing Yelp. It has good Thai food and good service. The food is probably just below Khow Thai (in Boulder) in terms of taste/quality, and they give smaller portions than Khow Thai does, but Sala Thai food is sill way better tasting than other "Thai" places. It's the only place I'll go in the Loveland/Windsor area. The people that run the restaurant also seem really nice; they can accommodate gluten/dairy intolerance easily. They actually buy some sauce (I forget which) that is specifically gluten-free. Sala Thai is also a bit far from the freeway and was hard to locate the first time I went. But there is plenty of parking and there really aren't any other good Thai options in the area. Overall, I'd definitely recommend it and will be going back when I am in the area. read more

Went to Sala Thai for a bite on a weeknight. The owner was very entertaining, the hot red curry was delicious and the service was prompt and fast. Highly recommend. Looking forward to going back to try a different dish. read more

I'm still a big fan of thise place. But I have learned a valuable lesson. Don't be scared of the "spicey-ness". Unless you're a total spice weenie you probably want at least a 3 or 4 on the ol' spice scale that they have to choose from. We tried the Panang Curry with Chicken due of a reccomendation...aaaaawesome. read more

Definitely the best Asian food in windsor in my opinion. The noodle dishes are always my go to but the appetizers are good too!

Not the *best* Thai i ever ate (that's a tall order), but for Windsor Colorado it's amazing. Staff was very accommodating to our large party (with kids), and the food was fresh and yummy. If you live near Windsor and want Thai food or maybe even never tasted it this is the place to visit. read more

Fave Asian restaurant in Windsor! Small space but such a gem. Tasty, authentic, delicious food. My family and I loved their soups (tom kha or tom yum), noodle dishes (pad see ew or pad thai or glass noodles) or entrees like massaman curry chicken, prik king, spicy basil duck, etc. All so yummy! Kids friendly restaurant too - sometime the Owner would give out little treats to your little ones at the end of the meal. Loved it! read more

Wow. What a great place! and an unexpected find in Windsor. The staff, very friendy, especially the owner/chef. Located in a non-descript strip mall, I'd passed this place several times, and frequented it when it was other fast food asian restaurants. Located steps from the Super 8, it is a pleasant treat to the out of town traveller, as well as for the locals. The first time we went in, we just got a pelethora of differnent items to share. We had the Appetizer sampler, Tom Yum and Tom Kha soup, Panang curry and Prig King. We had left overs for two days, but it was well worth it. Everything was fantastic. And the prices? Crazy affordable. On our second trip, the chef remembered us and let me know that he had Pompano fish that had just come in...Would I like that served traditional? (yes, that means with head and tail). Oh my! Grilled perfectly, and tasty! But once again, we were not able to finish everything. I don't get over to Windsor very much these days, but this place is worth the drive! If you like Thai, you'll love this place. read more

I haven't been here in a while but this hands down is my favorite Thai place to go! Van and his wife are amazing cooks and hosts. I miss going here. The only thing that keeps me from this restaurant is I live out of windsor. Cost is another thing. read more

AWESOME! Best Thai food around. Amazing for a small town. The soups are great for a cold day, pad thai sauce is made from scratch, and the new booths are nice. read more

Always scrumptious!! The coconut rice is a must order (in fact, double your order-you'll eat it all and if not, you'll have a bit for leftovers) The decor is slightly shabby but the food is always perfect and the price is great. Most plates are under $10 and we typically order one entree for every 2 people we have at the table read more

Sala Thai - Tom kha - Thai Near Me - Windsor, Colorado

Thought the pictures looked great- began with crab rangoon and dumplings and the dumplings were over cooked and the sauce tastes more like peanut butter than the authentic peanut dipping sauce. We got the curry and it was soupy and did not look appetizing. Even if it was meant to be a soup it was terrible. The chow mein was bland and not the best or what we expected after reading other reviews. Server was sweet but when told curry was bad, still put it on the bill. We boxed the rangoons, tipped and left. Unfortunately we agreed Panda Express would have been closer, better quality, and cheaper. read more

Some of the dopest Thai food you'll ever have the pleasure of putting in your mouth. Everything was pretty cheap too if you got money probz you'll be aight here. The Thai iced tea was like a roller coaster of goodness for my taste buds. I tried the Massaman curry and my boy tried the red they were both super dope. Totes def recommend this place! read more

We absolutely love Sala Thai! Our favorites are the Tom Kha soup, Spicy Basil, and the curries!

Came with my coworkers for dinner. One had never eaten Thai before - it was all very good! Pad Thai could have had more vegetables - and medium spice is a bit on the mild side. Great service, friendly staff. read more

Windsor, CO. has three fantastic restaurants and this is one of them. I really enjoy Thai food, its reasonably priced and I was surprised that this unassuming place was so terrific. If you decide to order the teriyaki with beef think dark and rich. If chicken with peanut sauce it's gotta be homemade because my favorite place for authentic Thai food by two Thai ladies in AZ makes theirs from scratch as well and I recognize the awesome flavor. If you like Thai food it's worth coming to Windsor, it's the best around. read more
