    Ambiance is fun!

Wonderful food! I'm so glad we stopped. The staff was so kind and helpful. Fun decor!

Definitely worth stopping Take away service is quick A decade of visiting Anong's various locations in WY Happy to report that the quality and flavor is consistently amazing Satisfied with my experience Thank you!

Food was delicious and fast. Waitress was great! Coconut ice cream was great too! Is you want hot go above the 3 star, wasn't that hot.

The food was good, but we were surprised by an unexpected $2 charge for extra cilantro.

    Combination fried rice

Very satisfied with our to go order of combination, fried rice, combination pad, Thai, chicken pad Thai, and a chicken broth/soup. The portions are very large, extremely flavorful shareable portions for sure! Hit the spot. I'm always weary of fried rice that lacks color, however, this one had a lot of flavor! Service was ok for pickup. Nothing grand. But then again I simply came in, paid and left... I would definitely recommend. The inside was decorated in traditional Thai decor.

Stopped by Anong's on a way back from a road trip and we were starving. What we got was amazing. Truly one of the best Thai dishes I've ever had. Big portion that left you satisfied and like it was appropriately priced. It's hard to find places where you say to yourself "wow this was totally worth it!" and Anong's has been one of the few encountered this year (2023). Service was good overall though worth to note only one person was working but it was basically empty so made sense. The timing of the food was great too. Another highlight was the Thai iced tea. It was definitely sweet but after a long time driving this is a perfect pick-me-up.

Himalayan Noodle Soup with chicken added.

Always delish very kind staff. I love the Himalayan Noodle soup, I always add chicken to it, and cheese naan. Butter chicken is so yummy. Appetizers are all great!

    Spicy Eggplant

When visiting Cheyenne, this was a place we'd heard good things about, and were happy to find it was as delicious as advertised! The parking lot was easy, and there was no wait for a table. It was clean and smelled fantastic, and our server was friendly and attentive. The asparagus shrimp was crunchy and fresh. The spicy eggplant was cozy and delicious. We loved that the noodles for the pad Thai were so thin and the flavor was spot on. Would definitely be a regular here if we lived closer!

    Papaya Salad
    Jaina L.

I'm doing this review for the Papaya salad. Every time I order food, I always try to get Papaya salad. This is my first time I'll call this Papaya Salad and not lettuce salad. They've been putting more lettuce than Papaya in this dish. Ahaha This is the first time I eat more Papaya. I'll definitely recommend this place.

Among the best Vegetarian and Vegan options for Chinese food in Cheyenne. We've been eating here…read moresince 2001 and one of the things we appreciate is that they have been very willing to make meatless versions of dishes for us, substiting tofu for the meat protein in almost any dish and being clear about when that is not possible such as soups made with a fish stock, chicken stock, or sauce made with a beef stock. For us this started with being able to get a Kung Pao Tofu, and now we frequently enjoy Vegan versions of Singapore Chow Mei Fun, Spicy Basil Tofu with Vegetables, Vegetables Mu Shu with Tofu added, and Vegetable Bean Curd Soup made with a meatless stock and added fresh ginger. There items no longer on the menu which they also make upon request such as Vegetables Egg Foo Yong (vegetarianbut not vegan). A friend like added fried tofu so while their is a small added charge for the added tofu it still remains a bargain. They cook the tofu either fried or soft per your stated preferences. Likewise if you want something Vegan, just let them know to leave out egg. From the beginning with a different owner in the past they avoid using MSG, and offer a "healthy menu" which uses less oil and less salt. Truth is those versions are also less tasty but if you are trying to be more careful about what you are eating they are there and better than most other places with similar options. While the family and the servers frequently speak limited English they are going to serve Americanized versions of Chinese cooking which still is among the better outside of San Francisco or New York. They strike a balance between their native China and Wyoming, doing it well and try to accommodate customer preferences as much out of sense of hospitality as business savy. This is a real bargain for eating out with most vegan or vegetarian dinner entrées or lunch plates under $13 in 2025. Portions are generous. We share an entrée bring home the remaining half, and have a meal to share as "leftovers". They used to have brown rice but no longer do due to a combination of lack of requests for it and no doubt costs. If it's something you would like, ask, even if they don't have it, it let's them know it's some customers would like to see return to the menu. Golden House offers tasty vegetarian and vegan options in an unpretentious atmosphere. It is located in downtown Cheyenne across the street from a city parking garage and usually there is also street parking available nearby. If there is something you would like and you don't see it on the menu or if you need a dish prepared in a different way, ask. One of our favorite not on the menu dishes is Vegetable Singapore Noodles Chow Mei Fun, a golden curried thin rice noodle we order without egg to make vegan, and we have them add steamed tofu to it.

Kailynne answered all of my extensive questions as this was my first time dining here. She was patience and so very kind. Right on a main street in Laramie, it was cozy, decor was nice and it was nice dining in a peaceful environment. Our meals were hot, fresh and spiced perfectly to our tastes. We really enjoyed our meals and I would definitely return!

The food itself was below average, but what really stood out was the poor service from a waiter with long hair. He seemed inexperienced and inattentive. After we finished a shared dish, he cleared not just the serving plates but also our personal plates without asking. We had to ask multiple times for basic things like utensils. He also appeared to pick and choose which guests he wanted to serve water to, ignoring others at the table. When we politely asked for water, he seemed annoyed, and even placed items on the table with unnecessary force, as if to show displeasure. At times, his facial expressions made it clear he was not happy serving us, especially when we spoke with an accent. That felt very unwelcoming. Despite the service, my uncle still left a generous tip because he didn't want to give 0 at any restaurant, but we left with a bad impression. I truly hope this staff member gets retrained. If you're working in hospitality, basic respect and professionalism should come with the job -- no one should feel like they're being a burden just for dining in.
