Sashimi Deluxe
Scott O.

We had the Sashimi Deluxe and gyoza. $48. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the sashimi here. Our favorites were the salmon and the ahi but everything was very good. The gyoza (not pictured) was hot and tasty and the sauce was sweeter than usual - but in a good way. Bravo Bejo!

Chicken massaman curry, general chicken and a sushi roll I can't recall the name - The image shows a restaurant table with sushi rolls, fried chicken in sauce, a bowl of rice, and bowls of curry, indicating Asian cuisine.

We stopped in randomly on a weekend trip to Cheyenne, the food was great and obviously big portions for the general chicken! Not pictured is the miso soup, which was also very good.

Beef and meatballs pho

I will rate this relative to the city of Cheyenne and not let my city-mind and world travels affect my views. The ambiance was ok, probably a 3 normally but a 4 for the area It's a big space with lots of seating in the inside - lots of semi private stalls which is great for conversation or eating alone. The menu is HUGE - it's not just Japanese, but Chinese and Vietnamese and I'm sure other Asian dishes, one-stop shop! We were only driving by and it was windy and I was in the mood for soup and ordered the Beef and Meatball Pho - the noodles broke apart easily and the meat was rubbery. The soup base was decent, so I would normally give it a 2.5 but I'll bump up to 3.5 again for the city. Service was great tho, no complaints there, a 4.5! So overall I'll give this place a 4, again relative to options in Cheyenne.

Bejo is an amazing place and will definitely suprise you being in Cheyenne. I wish I had more time here because I would have come back a 2nd time. Staff was amazing! Family owned and you can tell they take pride in their restaurant. I chatted it up with the owner and was fascinated with with their history. This definitely is my favorite restaurant in Cheyenne. I only tried their sushi so I can't comment on everything else. They have a good variety of dishes, from different types of asian cultures. The main chef is Indonesian but is verse in different types of cooking. The fish was fresh and melt in your mouth good! My only gripe (not a deal breaker) is that the slices were too big. Definitely not bite size but I sure tried for them to be. My OBCD was definitely showing its ugly head that night.

Chicken Lettuce

Fast service and good food. The chicken lettuce wraps were flavorful and came with a decent portion of chicken - if you like sauce I'd recommend ordering extra sauce as it wasn't quite enough for each of our wraps. The sushi rolls we got were huge! Large bites and several pieces to each roll, definitely bang for your buck. Each roll was dressed with a healthy amount of sauce, and stuffed full.

Fried spring rolls with a small cup of soy-based dipping sauce on a white square plate, with some lettuce garnish.

Made a spontaneous lunch trip here yesterday and was pleasantly surprised! It wasn't busy but for the food quality I was surprised, I'd expect it to be a lot more busy for how delicious it is. Wonderful service. Really good lunch prices. A good variety of dishes to choose from but not an overwhelming amount. Very nice decorations. Would love to visit here again the next time I am downtown!

I had heard good things about this place and being new to the area I decided to go out for lunch while exploring the very walkable and inviting downtown. The menu is fairly large and has some interesting rolls. As others have stated, the sushi tasted a bit fishy but the presentation was beyond superb. I had the cowgirl and my daughter had the aloha roll as well as the crunch roll. Someone definitely needs to warn patrons about the portion sizes because they were enormous! Portion size and presentation they definitely get a 4-star rating. The fishy taste sort of threw me. Management, please steep your green tea a little more because I could hardly taste it. Overall it was a good place but coming from a coastal state, I'm used to a bit fresher. I would still try them if you're considering it. Edamame was good and so was the vegetable tempura.

It's ok. Pretty good, really. Service was mediocre. Tempura quite good. Miso soup way to salty.

Must pay with card over the phone when placing a Togo order. You can't pay cash when you pick it up for some reason. Stupid.

We ordered it to try something new, but didn't care for the pineapple pieces in the soup. Service is always great regardless of whether you're getting food to go or dining in. From the moment we walked in - I'm recovering from recent shoulder surgery and dressing isn't easy so I didn't look my best - I discreetly asked the hostess if it was ok for me to come in looking kinda grungy and she sweetly told me I looked cute. Then a very friendly young man led us to our table. The place was packed, there were a lot of families with children as well as older folks like my hubby and me. Our waiter was also very friendly. Hubby and I usually each order soup, then we order 2 appetizers and one entree to split when we go to Asian restaurants. We ordered the same here. The egg drop soup was heartier than we expected, it had corn and little bit of chicken in it. It was delicious. Our appetizers, spring rolls and wrapped shrimp, were delicious and they were served on beds of noodles with sliced carrots and cucumbers around the edges of the plates. We had to ask our waiter for carry out containers before our entree even arrived. Our entree, pork with bok choy, shiitake mushrooms, and oyster sauce was delicious....just like everything else was. And since we ordered too much we had enough left over for dinner the following night. Hubby and I usually go for Thai or Japanese when we're in the mood for Asian cuisine and we have our favorite spots in FoCo for those (I prefer Thai, he prefers Japanese). We now have our favorite Vietnamese restaurant. The food was great and the service was very friendly!

The gyoza came out perfectly pan-seared -- crispy on the bottom, tender on top, and packed with flavor. That dipping sauce had just the right balance of salty, tangy, and savory. You could easily crush two orders without trying. The pork belly steamed buns were next-level. Soft, pillowy buns wrapped around rich, melt-in-your-mouth pork belly. The balance of fat, sweetness, and sauce was perfect. Messy in the best possible way. And then the star -- the Tonkotsu Ramen. The broth was deep, creamy, and packed with flavor -- that slow-simmered richness that tells you it was done right. The noodles had the perfect bite, and the pork was tender and seasoned beautifully. Every spoonful made you slow down just to appreciate it. Hands down one of the best meals I've had in a long time. The beef was a bit, tough and dry, but the chashu was nice and soft like melting in your mouth. The broth was also good and the noodles were nice and thin. Overall, I felt like this was a nice bite to eat and definitely filling. The only thing I felt that was lacking was the service on refilling water. I would definitely come back if I was around the area. They definitely got busy pretty quick.
