Traveling through here looking for great camping sites. Stopped in here for early dinner. They have a very large menu of Asian dishes from a variety of styles . . . Japanese, Indian, Thai, Korean, and Chinese. I ordered the Teriyaki Chicken and it was fine. But the Massaman Curry W/ Shrimp was AMAZING!!!!! I haven't had curry that good since visiting Washington DC decades ago! They had an expansive and beautiful menu for sushi that I'll likely order from the next time I'm in town. And I'll definitely be back for more of that Massaman Curry! The staff was professional and attentive. The eating area was clean and orderly. Been here twice. First time I did take-out but the second time we dined in. I highly recommend take-out. The food is totally worth the trip and headache parking downtown. The plates were beautiful and delicious. The staff when I was doing take out kept offering drinks for free which was awesome. However, when we dined in we came in the back door not knowing (from the Wells Fargo side) and they looked at us strangely as we made our way to the front. No help, no directions, just a look of what's wrong with you coming in this way? While we dined we had no fewer than 3 waitstaff offer us extra forks, napkins, and chopsticks, all of which we declined. We had the Sashimi Deluxe and gyoza. $48. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the sashimi here. Our favorites were the salmon and the ahi but everything was very good. Absolutely wonderful sushi portions and meal selections. Bejo knocks it out of the park with friendly service, great portions and a diverse menu, and I've ordered enough meals here to where I can say confidently that I haven't had anything that I didn't like. Spur of the moment decision to pop into this place. My son and I both love sushi and there were lots of people in there enjoying themselves, so we figured why not! I will rate this relative to the city of Cheyenne and not let my city-mind and world travels affect my views. The ambiance was ok, probably a 3 normally but a 4 for the area It's a big space with lots of seating in the inside - lots of semi private stalls which is great for conversation or eating alone. The menu is HUGE - it's not just Japanese, but Chinese and Vietnamese and I'm sure other Asian dishes, one-stop shop! We were only driving by and it was windy and I was in the mood for soup and ordered the Beef and Meatball Pho - the noodles broke apart easily and the meat was rubbery. The soup base was decent, so I would normally give it a 2.5 but I'll bump up to 3.5 again for the city. Service was great tho, no complaints there, a 4.5! So overall I'll give this place a 4, again relative to options in Cheyenne. read more

Not a fan of Bejo due to mediochre food, a dark dining room and detached service. The layout of the dining area is also awkward and prices are pretty high for what you get. Personally, I would rather go to Destination Taiwan or Good Friends. read more

Bejo is an amazing place and will definitely suprise you being in Cheyenne. I wish I had more time here because I would have come back a 2nd time. Staff was amazing! Family owned and you can tell they take pride in their restaurant. I chatted it up with the owner and was fascinated with with their history. This definitely is my favorite restaurant in Cheyenne. I only tried their sushi so I can't comment on everything else. They have a good variety of dishes, from different types of asian cultures. The main chef is Indonesian but is verse in different types of cooking. The fish was fresh and melt in your mouth good! My only gripe (not a deal breaker) is that the slices were too big. Definitely not bite size but I sure tried for them to be. My OBCD was definitely showing its ugly head that night. read more

The chicken lettuce wraps were flavorful and came with a decent portion of chicken - if you like sauce I'd recommend ordering extra sauce as it wasn't quite enough for each of our wraps. Made a spontaneous lunch trip here yesterday and was pleasantly surprised! It wasn't busy but for the food quality I was surprised, I'd expect it to be a lot more busy for how delicious it is. I had heard good things about this place and being new to the area I decided to go out for lunch while exploring the very walkable and inviting downtown. The menu is fairly large and has some interesting rolls. As others have stated, the sushi tasted a bit fishy but the presentation was beyond superb. I had the cowgirl and my daughter had the aloha roll as well as the crunch roll. Someone definitely needs to warn patrons about the portion sizes because they were enormous! Portion size and presentation they definitely get a 4-star rating. The fishy taste sort of threw me. Management, please steep your green tea a little more because I could hardly taste it. Overall it was a good place but coming from a coastal state, I'm used to a bit fresher. I would still try them if you're considering it. Edamame was good and so was the vegetable tempura. read more

My husband and I went tonight - I've eaten here a few times and he has once. Tonight was a date night and we ordered quite a few items off the appetizer list and one main dish. We needed to take the main dish home/ the appetizers were more than enough for a meal for both of us, and everything was delicious. Our waiter was Bryan, wonderful job and very personable. Better yet Matt, one of the owners, came out and greeted us and gave us great advice on what we should be drinking in conjunction to what we were eating. He was not wrong! After waiting for 30 minutes with no service I asked if we could just get some water at least and very rudely they told me it would just be a few more minutes...the restaurant was not very busy at all. When it came time to pay I went to use my credit card and just so happens they didn't take my type of credit card. I had unfortunately lost my debit card a few days prior so I didn't have a different form of payment. I told one man there I would have to go home and grab my girlfriend's card. He tried to not let me leave but I explained to him I'm trying to pay! It's not my fault you don't take that credit card. When I come back to pay, he makes me wait 10 minutes and then tells me somebody had paid for our meal. Whoever did that I really appreciate you and wish I knew who you were so I could pay you back! I'm just upset because I know the worker probably told them I just left and didn't want to pay so they felt bad and paid. I will definitely never be back to this place. read more

Very solid sushi in Cheyenne! My colleague and I usually are able to destroy 4 sushi rolls in a sitting. Not here; and not these, we were pleasantly surprised with the quantity and quality of the rolls. We tried some fried and standard faire; all were fresh and each had their own pizzazz. The only situation with the visit that wasn't on point was the server. He wasn't very attentive with keeping up with the drinks at our table or monitoring our progress. He would seat a table, bring drinks, take an order then disappear for long periods. Had to hunt him down to get boxes and ask for the check when we hadn't seen him for 30 minutes. But for that, I would have given them a 5 star. Good sushi at a fair price. read more

This place has REALLY gone downhill. Used to be the best sushi place in town, now, I'd rather have grocery store sushi. Just ordered 4 rolls for almost $80, and not one roll even had a piece of fish in it. Every one of their rolls now just has a fish-paste filling like you get at the Chinese buffet and a couple of them have thin slices laid on top. Also have a strong fishy smell now, not even close to fresh. Used to it was high prices for high quality, now they've kept the price, but lost all quality. read more

We go to Bejo in Cheyenne at least once per week. Their sushi is top notch, but my wife and I get the Pho every time. Their broth is super good. I eat a lot of Pho in my travels and this is one of the best. Glad they're right here close by. read more

Fried rice was great, my three sushi roles were lite in flavor. I will say first I'm from California and have had some really good and fresh sushi. Now being in the middle of the country I kept expectations a little low since they would have to fly fish in. I ordered my food to go. The resturant looked very nice and was packed. My food had great presentation. My complaint was it didn't have a lot a flavor, not bad by any means just not rich in flavor. I didn't get any dipping sauce or soy sauce in my to go order which I expected. If i had eaten at the resturant I would probably be able to give a four star rating. So so delicious! We had massaman curry and shrimp vegetables with rice. Both very flavorful! We got there before they opened for lunch and there was a small group ahead of us. Only stayed for about 40 mins because we had to get back on the road but when we left there were several groups dining. The atmosphere is modern with a slight club feel but nothing over the top. We are done purchasing food here! I understand about being short staffed and beyond busy on new years eave. We were fine waiting an hour to pick up our order and tipped $20 at time of purchase. We have supported this business for several years and tonight's rude service pissed me off! 1) at the time my wife placed the order, in-person with the owner, he continued to tell my wife about the long wait, which was fine, but continued to talk-down to her to be patient. 2) an hour later, we arrived to pick up our order and it wasn't ready yet. The owner rudely reminded us it would take every bit of 45 min to an hour. We waited another 30 minutes and had to inquire again with the owners wife, who then brought back our order. At time of pickup, we were told they would bring it right out when it was ready. 3) the order was correct. Found my sushi was placed in a container with hot food and that cooked my sushi. 4) I called the owner, I rudely said I was fine with waiting an hour, but waiting an hour and half to have sushi placed in a container with hot food was enough. The owner said he had two workers in the kitchen, I told him I wasn't upset with the wait, I'm upset with him shaking his finger at my wife, placing sushi in with hot food in the same container and then he hung up the phone before he could decide to communicate and show any type of customer service to resolve the situation or express understanding of his customers frustration! read more

By far the best Japanese restaurant in the Cheyenne area. Everything I had was cooks to perfection.

Had a couple rolls and the tempura plate. The spicy tuna tempura and jumbo rolls were great. The tempura shrimp however were not cleaned so you had the vein and contents along the top. We called the waiter over and showed him the big vein that contains the stuff you didn't want to eat. He just agreed with us, shrugged, and walked away. Not going to be back obviously. read more
