Great sushi! We were there for parents weekend and it was busy, but well worth the wait!! The staff was great and helpful in suggesting things to eat. Looking forward to a return visit!

This is my second (or maybe third) review for Jaws...they never disappoint! Whatever the "special" is GET IT! The last two visits we have enjoyed the specials of the day, last time it was a delicious summer pasta salad and this time it was out of this world yellowfin bao buns! We went earlier in the evening and it was nice, no wait for our table. The staff is always attentive and friendly and the sushi is so so so good...don't miss out on this hidden gem in Fort Collins!

Nice atmosphere and good amounts of tasty food at reasonable prices. Service was good too. Lots of sushi with wide variety of choices and customers.

3.5 stars. Craving sushi while living in or visiting Fort Collins is a bit of a tragedy. There aren't many options, and highly rated ones at that. But sometimes it be like that. Anyways, Jaws was reasonably priced and relatively nearby for pick-up, so we headed to the shopping plaza where it was located. Plenty of parking along the side of the building. A group of us loitered in front of the restaurant, looking at the menu to decide what we wanted. Lots of great options, but we settled on a few basic tuna and salmon rolls, as well as unagi don. I'm guessing they had a ton of other to-go and delivery orders because the food took awhile (felt like 20-30 minutes) to prepare. We went home with our order, and as expected, the quality was okay. The rice seemed old, and the fish didn't taste fresh. However, I feel like we got what we paid for! No complaints about money wasted. Though it's unlikely I'd come here again (mostly because I'm never in Fort Collins) I did like the unagi don. Small, simple dish. But test out the variety!

I've only been to 3 places for sushi in FoCo but this is definitely the best. A friend mentioned to me that Jaw's dine in was still closed but it slipped my mind the Thursday I came for lunch. Easy enough, an employee took my order and payment at the door. She was great about explaining the menu and specialty selections for the day. I went with a lunch combo 2 nigiris and a chum bucket. It's amazing that you can choose any two of the available nigiri for the same price! Note* the chum bucket sounds gross but it's pleasantly delicious. I didn't finish it but was able to throw it in the convention oven the next day and it was still delicious! I ordered 2piece of yellowtail, not only was it fresh, the portion size was perfect. My take out lunch order was about $11 including tax Will definitely be ordering from here more often!

Our go to place for really good sushi and great service. Miso soup is the best and good drinks and options for kids.

Great place, service was also good, the sushi tasted very fresh. I wish they had spicy crab.

If you're anywhere near Fort Collins and haven't tried Kujira Ramen, you're missing out…read more I went all in: gyoza, pork belly steamed buns, and Tonkotsu Ramen -- and every single bite was absolutely unreal. The gyoza came out perfectly pan-seared -- crispy on the bottom, tender on top, and packed with flavor. That dipping sauce had just the right balance of salty, tangy, and savory. You could easily crush two orders without trying. The pork belly steamed buns were next-level. Soft, pillowy buns wrapped around rich, melt-in-your-mouth pork belly. The balance of fat, sweetness, and sauce was perfect. Messy in the best possible way. And then the star -- the Tonkotsu Ramen. The broth was deep, creamy, and packed with flavor -- that slow-simmered richness that tells you it was done right. The noodles had the perfect bite, and the pork was tender and seasoned beautifully. Every spoonful made you slow down just to appreciate it. Hands down one of the best meals I've had in a long time. Clean atmosphere, great service, incredible food. 10/10 -- already planning the next trip back.

But they were also fairly quick with the appetizers that we tried. The barbecue tofu was surprisingly delicious with a great texture and yummy sauce. The Gyoza was also a fan favorite with a light crispy bottom and a good filling. We tried two different ramens with two different proteins. The beef was a bit, tough and dry, but the chashu was nice and soft like melting in your mouth. The broth was also good and the noodles were nice and thin. Overall, I felt like this was a nice bite to eat and definitely filling. The only thing I felt that was lacking was the service on refilling water. I would definitely come back if I was around the area. They definitely got busy pretty quick.

Let me start by saying the servers at this restaurant seem to be trying their hardest. They were…read morepleasant and attentive. That said, this was probably the worst restaurant experience we've ever had in Fort Collins. My husband and I had a last-minute opportunity for a date night without our kids. It's Valentine's Day, so we knew a wait was possible. Luckily, we called ahead and they could take us as a walk-in. We were seated almost immediately, orders were taken, and everything seemed fine. Then it went downhill. There was a large party of about ten people who turned out to be the OWNERS. This table monopolized the attention of both servers and the kitchen, ordering one drink or dish at a time. We waited 30 minutes for our appetizer gyoza, then another hour for two rolls and a six-piece sashimi. The sashimi never came. During that hour, whenever the owners' table wanted something, they would start whooping and shouting for the servers, each person getting louder than the last, like a table of middle schoolers playing the penis game. Except these were adults who appeared to be in their 50s. It was loud enough to startle every other guest in the restaurant. When the check arrived, we were charged for a roll we never ordered, and we had to remind the server about our missing sashimi. We didn't even want it at that point, but were never given the chance to say so. What eventually came out, after yet another ten-minute wait, was a hack job: what looked like leftover end pieces from other rolls, room temperature, and not fresh. As we left, we rolled our eyes at the large table, not yet knowing they were the owners. They began heckling us, yelling "losers" and "assholes" at us as we walked out. The owners are sabotaging their own employees, who will almost certainly lose tips from other tables because of this behavior. Despite the incredibly bad experience, we left a generous tip, only because it was a holiday and it was clear the staff were being harassed by their own employers. We will not be back.

The beef gyoza were very good, the dough was soft and the meat was flavorful. The acidic side sauce helped balance it out too. All of the dishes were very beautifully plated. I had the California and bonzai rolls, which were both good. The California was simplistic but had a nice flavor. The bonzai roll was delicious, it was smoky, and the tempura inside was crispy and cooked perfectly. The fish on top added a nice texture too. Service: The food came out quick, and the rolls came out as they were finished, which I appreciated. They didn't all come out at the same time so it made it feel more relaxed. Atmosphere: The decorations were nice and calming and it was overall a very laid back experience. We got to pick which tables we wanted and ordered at a leisurely pace. Overall: The food here was very good and had an upscale feel to it. The only thing though is that it's a little on the pricier side. $19 for one of the rolls is a lot but the quality and flavor were good.
