This is a good place to hang out with friends and relax, which is what I went to do. I didn't see any Japanese or Asians eating here, so I was suspicious. The space has a mixture of seating styles, and the wall art unique. Be careful where you sit. The menu has mostly Japanese, with a few Korean items. Service was relatively quick, and when asked, suggestions were provided. The servers checked in frequently, a be it brisque. The portions are a good size, and there were more flavors than just soy sauce and salt. Something was missing, or added that felt off. There are lots of drink items including the hot honey ginger tea. There is a dessert menu-maybe next time.

Delicious food! Amazing service EVERY TIME. I've been here a few times now and can definitely say this place is consistent with not only the quality of their food but also the friendly service! What I've ordered: Beef tataki: 7/10 big portion, lots of sauce, would like mine a little less well done Rocky Mountain roll (only on dinner menu, but you can ask to see the dinner menu which has additional rolls and they're still happy to make it for you!) 10/10 It has everything you could want...sauces, crunch, fresh fish, and veryyyy filling! Hungry: 8.5/10 a little messy to try to eat, but worth it. Diablo: 6/10 this was my least favorite as I'm not a fan of baked rolls but still glad we tried it! Someone who loves baked rolls will like this! Spicy tuna: 8/10 it's a super simple roll, but still great flavor. Get this is you want a more plain roll or smaller one Centerra: 9/10 if you love shrimp tempura rolls and fresh salmon - this is the roll for you! Heart attack roll: 8/10 very rich, crunchy on the inside and just an all around creative roll Service is always so freaking friendly and I love seeing the talented chefs joke around with the servers! When everyone is having fun you know you're going to have a good experience. Basically, you can't go wrong with this place at all. It's got something for everyone and truly my favorite sushi spot. I drive 30mins from FC just for their sushi and I'm from San Diego, so I've had some great food. See y'all next time!

Had the honor of dining in at one of the top 50 restaurants in Loveland. Took a detour from the mountains to stop by for a snack to avoid traffic. First time here, so the server recommended her favorite roll, which is the Samurai Fiesta Roll. This had shrimp tempura, cream cheese and avocado, topped with mixed spicy crab, masago and scallion, baked and topped with spicy mayo. Kid-friendly restaurant and the best spot for sushi in northern Colorado. Also, you can tell a lot by the restaurant by the looks of the bathroom and it was indeed very clean.

If you're into sushi, Japanese cuisine, and eating with chopsticks, you're going to love Sushi Jooa. We tried a variety of items, from the "Heart Attack" appetizer (the last thing to arrive at our table), to chicken teriyaki/spicy crab/yellowfish rolls, to salmon teriyaki and chicken udon. All were well prepared.

I came here for the first time since the name change two weeks ago and already made it back today! The first time, I opted for the Teriyaki Salmon lunch special, and was entirely unprepared for the insane amount of food that was about to show up at the table. They started us off with fresh salad drizzled with a sweet honey mustard dressing, and an adorable cup of piping hot miso soup. Immediately after, our fresh four piece California Roll showed up, followed by crispy tempura vegetables and shrimp with a sweet sesame dipping sauce. Already I was feeling pretty dang full, but then we had two gyoza appear! I was becoming more anxious about the actual entrees since I was overstuffed, but I'm glad I decided to pack it in. The Teriyaki Salmon was an absolute monster of a cut - gigantic and thick, and perfectly cooked to a medium rare! It's so difficult to find a correctly cooked salmon, so this was an absolute shock to me to find it at a sushi restaurant. They offered us mochi as our final course which I physically had to turn down since absolutely nothing else would fit into my stomach. Went back today for the Miso Salmon and now need another two weeks to stop feeling full. Highly recommend if you're ravenous and ready to stuff yourself silly!

We got take-out here for dinner yesterday (Sunday). We'd been wanting to try Sushi Jooa since we moved to Loveland last year but just hadn't gotten around to it. We were not disappointed! I got the chicken teriyaki (the entree, not the sushi roll) and it came with salad (I couldn't eat some of the lettuce so I gave it to my spouse) and miso soup! The chicken was really well-flavored, the rice was sticky and delicious. And the sauce was just what I was looking for in a teriyaki sauce. My spouse got their seafood fried rice and he raved about it for hours. They also gave us a salad and a miso soup with his order! I LOVED their miso soup. The broth has that delicate, fishy, distinctively miso flavor, the tofu is cut into nice small pieces, and the seaweed is tender yet thick. Really some of the best miso soup I've had in a long time. We look forward to trying more of their menu, maybe even their sushi, soon.

Will be a "go-to" -- I haven't found the perfect dish yet...but love that we can actually dine-in at this place instead of feeling like a fast-food joint (which is what was the norm in Nashville, TN). Service was great -- very attentive...and the atmosphere reminded me of what I remember when I was younger. Tons of fish, Asian art, wood paneling...very nostalgic. There edamame is so good! Not sure what else they do to it...but they put more than just salt on top!!! We've has the Hibachi chicken -- which is GINORMOUS and Soba Noodles w/ Chicken and Shrimp. Their Shrimp tempura was very tasty, and the chicken that came with the other Soba soup was tasty as well. So, have not had anything that I didn't like :)

We either get takeout for dinner or eat lunch in-house. Their lunch specials are out of this world and ridiculously cheap! My most recent visit we were greeted immediately and seated in my mother's favorite cozy booth by the window after request. They were pretty busy, but our server was with us immediately asking about drink orders. We all ordered the same - water and salmon bento boxes for the lunch special. She brought out the miso soups along with waters, and then barely minutes later brought out our boxes with an "apology for the delay". There was absolutely no delay, and the main dishes we had were piping hot and perfectly cooked. The salmon flaked apart, the teriyaki sauce was not quite as thick as I would have liked, but still delicious, and the egg roll and California Roll were fresh! I did feel like the crab wonton was a little stale and lukewarm, but I still devoured it thanks to the flavor. We wrapped up after emptying our plates and got our bill immediately. I love having a place you can go to for a blend of multiple cuisines when they're all done to par and beyond.

If you're anywhere near Fort Collins and haven't tried Kujira Ramen, you're missing out…read more I went all in: gyoza, pork belly steamed buns, and Tonkotsu Ramen -- and every single bite was absolutely unreal. The gyoza came out perfectly pan-seared -- crispy on the bottom, tender on top, and packed with flavor. That dipping sauce had just the right balance of salty, tangy, and savory. You could easily crush two orders without trying. The pork belly steamed buns were next-level. Soft, pillowy buns wrapped around rich, melt-in-your-mouth pork belly. The balance of fat, sweetness, and sauce was perfect. Messy in the best possible way. And then the star -- the Tonkotsu Ramen. The broth was deep, creamy, and packed with flavor -- that slow-simmered richness that tells you it was done right. The noodles had the perfect bite, and the pork was tender and seasoned beautifully. Every spoonful made you slow down just to appreciate it. Hands down one of the best meals I've had in a long time. But they were also fairly quick with the appetizers that we tried. The barbecue tofu was surprisingly delicious with a great texture and yummy sauce. The Gyoza was also a fan favorite with a light crispy bottom and a good filling. We tried two different ramens with two different proteins. The beef was a bit, tough and dry, but the chashu was nice and soft like melting in your mouth. The broth was also good and the noodles were nice and thin. Overall, I felt like this was a nice bite to eat and definitely filling. The only thing I felt that was lacking was the service on refilling water. I would definitely come back if I was around the area. They definitely got busy pretty quick.
