    Nabeyaki-delicious!!!

I've always loved Mt. Fuji since way back when there were only two places to get sushi in this town but I hadn't been in awhile. As usual, the food was delicious. I had the Nabeyaki which was delicious and belly warming. The tempura shrimp was amazing. My boyfriend had the Negimaki bento box with a negi hamachi roll as an appetizer. His food was also amazing. Our server Kira was wonderful and the restaurant was cozy and quiet. Great meal. We will definitely start coming again more often. This place has always been legit!

This place is totally insane. 11/10 bento box. Great price, great service. The only update is maybe some redecorating but if you want some insane food please go here.

This place was absolutely delicious! The sushi was amazing and the service was top notch! I would highly recommend checking this little hidden place out. Definitely will be back for more sashimi.

Horrible food to be called Japanese. More like a Chinese Buffett put in to go boxes. Greasy rolls, old cucumbers and avocado really poor quality. Throwing in the trash, will not eat here ever again.

This is an excellent sushi restaurant in Fort Collins. I have greatly enjoyed the fresh seafood used in their sushi. There is also a nice variety of sushi on their menu. It also has a nice dining environment. The prices are also decent in regards of sushi. I would recommend this place for sushi in residents and visitors of Larimer and Weld Counties.

This place is awesome! this will be my go to asian cuisine! thank you so much for the amazing service and i love the decor

If you're anywhere near Fort Collins and haven't tried Kujira Ramen, you're missing out…read more I went all in: gyoza, pork belly steamed buns, and Tonkotsu Ramen -- and every single bite was absolutely unreal. The gyoza came out perfectly pan-seared -- crispy on the bottom, tender on top, and packed with flavor. That dipping sauce had just the right balance of salty, tangy, and savory. You could easily crush two orders without trying. The pork belly steamed buns were next-level. Soft, pillowy buns wrapped around rich, melt-in-your-mouth pork belly. The balance of fat, sweetness, and sauce was perfect. Messy in the best possible way. And then the star -- the Tonkotsu Ramen. The broth was deep, creamy, and packed with flavor -- that slow-simmered richness that tells you it was done right. The noodles had the perfect bite, and the pork was tender and seasoned beautifully. Every spoonful made you slow down just to appreciate it. Hands down one of the best meals I've had in a long time. Clean atmosphere, great service, incredible food. 10/10 -- already planning the next trip back.

But they were also fairly quick with the appetizers that we tried. The barbecue tofu was surprisingly delicious with a great texture and yummy sauce. The Gyoza was also a fan favorite with a light crispy bottom and a good filling. We tried two different ramens with two different proteins. The beef was a bit, tough and dry, but the chashu was nice and soft like melting in your mouth. The broth was also good and the noodles were nice and thin. Overall, I felt like this was a nice bite to eat and definitely filling. The only thing I felt that was lacking was the service on refilling water. I would definitely come back if I was around the area. They definitely got busy pretty quick.

That said, this was probably the worst restaurant experience we've ever had in Fort Collins. My husband and I had a last-minute opportunity for a date night without our kids. It's Valentine's Day, so we knew a wait was possible. Luckily, we called ahead and they could take us as a walk-in. We were seated almost immediately, orders were taken, and everything seemed fine. Then it went downhill. There was a large party of about ten people who turned out to be the OWNERS. This table monopolized the attention of both servers and the kitchen, ordering one drink or dish at a time. We waited 30 minutes for our appetizer gyoza, then another hour for two rolls and a six-piece sashimi. The sashimi never came. During that hour, whenever the owners' table wanted something, they would start whooping and shouting for the servers, each person getting louder than the last, like a table of middle schoolers playing the penis game. Except these were adults who appeared to be in their 50s. It was loud enough to startle every other guest in the restaurant. When the check arrived, we were charged for a roll we never ordered, and we had to remind the server about our missing sashimi. We didn't even want it at that point, but were never given the chance to say so. What eventually came out, after yet another ten-minute wait, was a hack job: what looked like leftover end pieces from other rolls, room temperature, and not fresh. As we left, we rolled our eyes at the large table, not yet knowing they were the owners. They began heckling us, yelling "losers" and "assholes" at us as we walked out. The owners are sabotaging their own employees, who will almost certainly lose tips from other tables because of this behavior. Despite the incredibly bad experience, we left a generous tip, only because it was a holiday and it was clear the staff were being harassed by their own employers. We will not be back.

Chicken hibachi - pretty standard hibachi, the rice and veggies were really good but the noodles did lack some flavor for both of us. Steak and Scallop - the scallops were delicious and probably the best part of the hibachi. The chicken and steak were a bit over cooked, and another patron ordered shrimp and salmon, which the salmon looked really well done/over cooked and we all got a piece of shrimp which was also pretty over cooked. We were welcomed and seated. The service staff was attentive and with the open concept kitchen, one could see the kitchen staff was hustling making all the wonderful food. I had water to drink on this occasion, but my friends enjoyed cocktails and beer. As a table we shared the Brussels Sprouts Tempura. I liked this preparation. The tempura was a crispy coating on the yummy sprouts. One of my favorite vegetables. For dinner, I chose the Wonton Chicken Ramen. The broth was flavorful. It had chicken wontons, spinach, green onions and thin noodles. Two of our party had a good portion left to take home. Jinya has a nice option of purchasing an additional portion of noodles to go with your leftovers. I thought that was a cool touch. With a crowd, it is loud in the restaurant so it was difficult to hear the conversation at our table. That was my only caveat for the evening. Overall good experience.
