Unfortunately, idk what happened this time but the service was incredibly bad. Like so bad I didn't want to leave a tip at all which I never do as I used to be in the industry myself. However, the service was terrible from start to finish and the sushi didn't make up for it at all. We sat down and no joke it took almost 20mins to have a server come by. I almost got up and walked out. Other tables that walked in after us were greeted right away and I guess we were just forgot about. Their orders were of course put in before us and we had to wait even longer for our food. Then, there was zero apology when we were finally greeted. Once the food finally came out we were never checked on. We had to flag our server down anytime we needed something even though she kept checking on and grabbing things for other tables. Then, the sushi was bland so I asked for a side of eel sauce and spicy mayo. We waited and waited and then she comes back to say she forgot. Ok no big deal. I tell her what I want again. She comes back to say she can't give me spicy mayo because they're low (no wonder my rolls were so bland) and gives me the eel sauce. I taste the eel sauce and it is NOT eel sauce. We spend another 10-15mins trying to get her attention to tell her. Finally a busser comes by and we asked them instead to give us actual eel sauce. Waited forever. Basically zero service. My sushi was bland, then it got cold waiting for service. It was just an awful experience which is sad because this used to be my favorite place. We didn't even bother ordering anymore food because we were such disbelief at the horrible service. An apology for the bad service would've been nice, but nope so here I am updating my review because I probably won't be back.

My favorite sushi in NOCO hands down! Very fresh and tasty! My go to roll is always the Rock N Roll and we also had the Ocean, Volcano, and a Cali. So yummy! The dishes are also very good as well! This place never disappoints!

Incredible food! I got the $17 lunch special with the Monster Shrimp roll, and I got the CSU roll ($17) on top of it. Lunch special came out with one specialty roll, five pieces nigiri (sake, maguro, ebi, hamachi, and ika), miso soup, and crispy sweet potato fries. The miso soup, admittedly, is VERY salty and I had to drown out all the salt by downing all my water, but that aside, everything else was delicious and well worth how much I spent. I spent $44 after tip--very reasonable price for the amount of food I got. I'll be back definitely to try the other rolls there are!

4.5 stars for me. So this has to be one of the most comforting and surprising restaurants to ever be found in a strip mall. From the homemade art in frames to the chalk board and piano it is a welcoming environment for a date or meeting friends. Plus, you may get a taste of the future with their robotic waiter delivering sushi plates. I had the bulgogi hot pot with the burnt rice (on purpose from the cast iron hot pot) and it was tasty. Maybe not the best I've had but good. Plus it was smaller than expected - though to be fair, I was warned. The staff were friendly and attentive - and they have the bonus robotic waiter if you order sushi. All in all, a good experience - 5 for the environment and 4 for the food.

Sushi was good enough although the tomago was really thick and cold. Food being brought by a robot was a bonus.

If you're anywhere near Fort Collins and haven't tried Kujira Ramen, you're missing out…read more I went all in: gyoza, pork belly steamed buns, and Tonkotsu Ramen -- and every single bite was absolutely unreal. The gyoza came out perfectly pan-seared -- crispy on the bottom, tender on top, and packed with flavor. That dipping sauce had just the right balance of salty, tangy, and savory. You could easily crush two orders without trying. The pork belly steamed buns were next-level. Soft, pillowy buns wrapped around rich, melt-in-your-mouth pork belly. The balance of fat, sweetness, and sauce was perfect. Messy in the best possible way. And then the star -- the Tonkotsu Ramen. The broth was deep, creamy, and packed with flavor -- that slow-simmered richness that tells you it was done right. The noodles had the perfect bite, and the pork was tender and seasoned beautifully. Every spoonful made you slow down just to appreciate it. Hands down one of the best meals I've had in a long time. Clean atmosphere, great service, incredible food. 10/10 -- already planning the next trip back.

But they were also fairly quick with the appetizers that we tried. The barbecue tofu was surprisingly delicious with a great texture and yummy sauce. The Gyoza was also a fan favorite with a light crispy bottom and a good filling. We tried two different ramens with two different proteins. The beef was a bit, tough and dry, but the chashu was nice and soft like melting in your mouth. The broth was also good and the noodles were nice and thin. Overall, I felt like this was a nice bite to eat and definitely filling. The only thing I felt that was lacking was the service on refilling water. I would definitely come back if I was around the area. They definitely got busy pretty quick.

Let me start by saying the servers at this restaurant seem to be trying their hardest. They were…read morepleasant and attentive. That said, this was probably the worst restaurant experience we've ever had in Fort Collins. My husband and I had a last-minute opportunity for a date night without our kids. It's Valentine's Day, so we knew a wait was possible. Luckily, we called ahead and they could take us as a walk-in. We were seated almost immediately, orders were taken, and everything seemed fine. Then it went downhill. There was a large party of about ten people who turned out to be the OWNERS. This table monopolized the attention of both servers and the kitchen, ordering one drink or dish at a time. We waited 30 minutes for our appetizer gyoza, then another hour for two rolls and a six-piece sashimi. The sashimi never came. During that hour, whenever the owners' table wanted something, they would start whooping and shouting for the servers, each person getting louder than the last, like a table of middle schoolers playing the penis game. Except these were adults who appeared to be in their 50s. It was loud enough to startle every other guest in the restaurant. When the check arrived, we were charged for a roll we never ordered, and we had to remind the server about our missing sashimi. We didn't even want it at that point, but were never given the chance to say so. What eventually came out, after yet another ten-minute wait, was a hack job: what looked like leftover end pieces from other rolls, room temperature, and not fresh. As we left, we rolled our eyes at the large table, not yet knowing they were the owners. They began heckling us, yelling "losers" and "assholes" at us as we walked out. The owners are sabotaging their own employees, who will almost certainly lose tips from other tables because of this behavior. Despite the incredibly bad experience, we left a generous tip, only because it was a holiday and it was clear the staff were being harassed by their own employers. We will not be back.

The beef gyoza were very good, the dough was soft and the meat was flavorful. The acidic side sauce helped balance it out too. All of the dishes were very beautifully plated. I had the California and bonzai rolls, which were both good. The California was simplistic but had a nice flavor. The bonzai roll was delicious, it was smoky, and the tempura inside was crispy and cooked perfectly. The fish on top added a nice texture too. Service: The food came out quick, and the rolls came out as they were finished, which I appreciated. They didn't all come out at the same time so it made it feel more relaxed. Atmosphere: The decorations were nice and calming and it was overall a very laid back experience. We got to pick which tables we wanted and ordered at a leisurely pace. Overall: The food here was very good and had an upscale feel to it. The only thing though is that it's a little on the pricier side. $19 for one of the rolls is a lot but the quality and flavor were good.
