Restaurant is cute and the server was nice. It took a while for the food to come but not crazy. The avocado roll and sweet potato rolls were both pretty decent. The ramen, however, was nasty. We were both gagging after a few bites. Vegans and vegetarians beware, the veggie ramen is basically weird smelling broth with uncooked soft tofu and random vegetables like cherry tomato. Went there a couple weeks ago. It was about 5:40 pm. I figured there would be a wait. Nobody there. Two tables had people eating that was it. We got sat down. Waited 20 minutes. No one ever came over to us said anything to us. The place was filthy. The floors were filthy. We got up to leave. All the wait staff was outside the door on the sidewalk talking. I said to them this is why we didn't get any service. Not one of them said a word to us about being sorry. or they would take care of us. They just blamed each other.So we walked over to Bejo's ate dinner there and had wonderful service. Can't say that I would probably return. read more

Great broth, but extremely sad garnish. Even the description lists tomatoes as plural. I received one cherry tomato and a lonely bok choy leaf. You can add another tomato upon ordering for $1. I'm going to be honest. We were passing through Cheyenne on a road trip and were not expecting much. But this place kicked ass! The sushi was fresh and delicious, and the ramen we got was even more amazing than my favorite place back home. The place was clean and the open kitchen concept worked really well. Me and the guys came from Colorado for the week on a work trip and found this place and had dinner here back to back nights. We enjoyed everything we had. The service was great, but the ramen was only ok. The description of the tonkotsu ramen didn't quite add up for me. It was described as a white shoyu broth, not pork bone broth. I decided to try it anyway. I did have them remove the extra veggies that you usually don't find at a ramen shop in Japan like tomatoes and bock choy. The broth was fine. The noodles and pork cashew were quite good. Where I take issue was with the ramen eggs. The whites were not set at all, but the yolks were pretty firm. They just sort of fell apart in the soup. It's almost like they cooked them sous vide and then just dropped them in the bowl. I might go there again, but definitely won't be getting ramen eggs in my soup if I do. read more

The waitress was (I'm completely assuming here) Asian, either Japanese or Chinese... could be neither. The waiter was an African American (assuming again) with tattoos. Both of these people did an excellent job and were extremely friendly and professional with their guests. Thank you both. Our waitress, blue hair and glasses, took our order and we never saw her again. Not only were we not ever asked how our food was or asked if we wanted refills our entire visit, she didn't even give us our check. No one did. The hostess and another waiter and our waitress( not sure what he actually was because I never saw him doing any work) were constantly on their phones and talking with each other. At one point the three of them walked out of the restaurant because apparently there was something more important to look at outside rather than take care of their guests. We can see our food was ready at the counter waiting for our waitress to bring to us, but she was outside. Thankfully the kitchen staff kicked butt at making some really great tasting food for us. The sushi was great and so was the ramen. This place could be the best sushi spot in town if they'd hire more competent serving staff. read more

Came across this gem on the way to visit the State buildings. We ordered the ramen and the curry Katsu. The food was surprisingly legit and tasted good. Honestly this kind of food is the last thing we expect in this Western town. Service is a bit slow but we can see the place is newly opened, so staff were probably in training. The place is clean and decors were pleasant, price is reasonable. Will definitely recommend. read more

Didn't get a call after placing order to tell me that they were out of gyoza so they didn't even start my order until I got there and after I chose a replacement. The person said that she tried calling me, which was a lie and I proved it, she then just walked away. Finally got my bag and drove home just to find out half my order was missing. I called to let them know and as I was speaking, she hung up on me. Rude staff and slow cooks. I've worked the industry over 14 years and have never seen terrible service like this. Where has this restaurant been??! I could go on and on about this place. From the fun and clean atmosphere that is very lively and hip to the open kitchen that is clean and well ran, I was very impressed!! The food came out fast and the service was phenomenal. The employees are very friendly and well trained! Now the food!!! The miso soup, ramen, and sushi were excellent. The fish was so fresh and the flavors of the sushi were phenomenal. All in all, this place is fantastic and highly recommend if you want actual good Japanese food and atmosphere! read more

Atmosphere was lovely decorated for the Christmas season, playing music very loud and lyrics full of profanity. I asked for hot tea, I received a large cup, one green tea bag and a pot full of hot water. Guess you can only have one cup. Should be a pot full if you are gonna offer a pot. Hokkaido ramen is fantastic! From the moment we arrived the staff treated us extremely well, answered all questions we had and gave us the best advice on our orders. We have been twice in two days and both times were wonderful! I opted for the veggie ramen - rich and savory broth, umami-laden tare (the sauce that provides the seasoning for the broth), and springy quality made noodles, my husband had the spicy beef he praised it for a rich, flavorful broth ,balanced spice level and the beef was premium grade and tender. We will definitely become regulars! read more
