We were seated promptly and Kailynne brought us water immediately. We ordered a sampler appetizer plate, and they were delicious. Kailynne answered all of my extensive questions as this was my first time dining here. She was patience and so very kind. Right on a main street in Laramie, it was cozy, decor was nice and it was nice dining in a peaceful environment. Our meals were hot, fresh and spiced perfectly to our tastes. We really enjoyed our meals and I would definitely return! read more

My aunt, uncle, and I came from out of town to visit Laramie, and while we didn't expect authentic Asian food here, we were still very disappointed with both the food and the service at this restaurant. The food itself was below average, but what really stood out was the poor service from a waiter with long hair. He seemed inexperienced and inattentive. After we finished a shared dish, he cleared not just the serving plates but also our personal plates without asking. We had to ask multiple times for basic things like utensils. He also appeared to pick and choose which guests he wanted to serve water to, ignoring others at the table. When we politely asked for water, he seemed annoyed, and even placed items on the table with unnecessary force, as if to show displeasure. At times, his facial expressions made it clear he was not happy serving us, especially when we spoke with an accent. That felt very unwelcoming. Despite the service, my uncle still left a generous tip because he didn't want to give 0 at any restaurant, but we left with a bad impression. I truly hope this staff member gets retrained. If you're working in hospitality, basic respect and professionalism should come with the job -- no one should feel like they're being a burden just for dining in. read more

Our party of six enjoyed a wonderful meal of pad Thai, pad see u, yellow curry, pineapple fried rice, spicy eggplant, broccoli beef, sweet and sour pork, chicken satay, wrapped shrimp. Our servers, Eli and Amber did an excellent job with our crazy group We had a lovely time and will definitely be back. read more

We found this place on yelp they had good reviews so we went in. We had the roasted duck curry and my husband said that it was the best he ever had. The waitress was great, portion was amazing. We're traveling so we don't need leftovers so we split it. The eggrolls were also fantastic. read more

Absolutely AMAZING! What an improvement. Spring rolls and steamed potstickers get 5 stars. Pad Thai chicken and pad gapow are also amazing great service too! This place has always been good but it went from good to great. They also painted and put in some new seating. Had nice background music as well. Really good for for the money is as good as any place you will find in a bigger city. read more

I got the chicken Pad Thai and pork Thai Fried Rice. The Pad Thai was delicious, some of the best I've had. The fried rice was also amazing, lots of fresh veggies which I appreciate! Portion sizes were very generous as well. I ordered take out and the hostess was very friendly and pleasant. Will definitely be returning soon! read more

We were in our way through the area and stopped by this amazing restaurant. The historic downtown area was pretty cool and the restaurant was making great use of an old building. The walls are bright the room is small enough that sound bounces around so it can get noisy quick. However, the service was quick, and friendly. Now for the important part, the food. The food is the best Thai food I've had in more than six years. I love Thai food and I always judge a Thai restaurant by its curry and this place did not disappoint. If ever I am in the area again I will make a point of eating here again. read more

I've eaten a lot of Thai food and this is probably the lowest quality I have ever tasted. Reconstituted "chicken meat" on sate' skewers was probably the crowning achievement...... read more

We slipped in just before the 3pm lunch closing, to get one massuman curry and one yellow curry to go (serious road trip). Food was fresh and delicious, we picked two mellow (not spicy) dishes and got exactly what we hoped for. The curry portions were HUGE - each taking up the majority of a quart container! Saved the rest on ice in our cooler for Thai dinner in Utah that night. read more

We are in Laramie from out of state staying here for a wedding. We found this place randomly and decided to try it. It started off great! We had an appetizer and drinks and our server was sweet. After 35 minutes of waiting with 2 kids, turns out they lost our ticket and never made our food. It happens, truly it does. However, NOTHING was done to remedy the situation. At the very basic level of customer service, you'd think they would have given us the $7 crab rangoon complementary? NOPE. We couldn't wait any longer; I have 2 kids under 4, we had to go. They deliver- they could have offered to deliver our order. Gift card, literally anything to fix the problem. But we got nothing. No food, no service, and left hungry. I'd give 0 stars if I could, since that's how much we received from them. read more

We were blowing through town and I had a craving for Thai. We thought, Thai, in Laramie?! YES! Thai in Laramie! It was delicious and the deliver! We ordered the Roast Duck Curry and potstickers. Just delicious. read more

Thai Spice has reliably tasty food, and I haven't tried something I don't like yet. The bubble tea place (Boba Cafe) is attached so it's nice to order some food and bubble tea at the same time. The service is much less reliable. Not sure if this is just a Laramie thing, but they often don't answer their phone, and the service is pretty chaotic (but always friendly). I'm not a big fan of eating-in at Thai Spice as the tables are pretty close together and it can get packed. Plus, their food lends itself well to carry out! I'll come here often as long as I live in Laramie. read more

While waiting there was someone that had waited so long for their DoorDash finally came to the restaurant at 7 after ordering when they open (4:30) and the owner told her to go home and it would be there soon (I'd question if it had even been made at that point) Another man came in that had been waiting for about an hour and a half he had said to the owner and he had asked for a refund totally reasonable in a situation like this. At first the owner said no, and then he said he wouldn't take the food with him because half of it had just been sitting for over an hour and the other half hadn't even been made BUT HEAR THIS as he was waiting they finished up his food because the owner was trying to get him not to get a refund and then after he got his refund they offered him his food still and said sorry (AGAIN TOTALLY REASONABLE AND THATS WHAT I WOULD DO AS AN OWNER) But this is where us gets bad ( at least for me and all of my college roommates ) So then considering they just gave that guy his refund and offered him his food that he declined because the owner literally told him half of it had been waiting and the other half wasn't ready yet I thought I should do the same thing considering I had been waiting in front of the restaurant for 2 hours for my food which was taking even longer than the other man that got a refund. So I asked the owner if she could give us a refund since we had waited longer and wasn't yelling at her for a refund I figured she'd be a decent human and refund me Nope she actually just gave me 4 gift cards for 10$ (half of my check not even the whole check) So I am like whatever, she's had a hard night I am just going to get out of the way and I will come back on Monday since they aren't open Sunday. I end up getting home Saturday with my food this was about 3 hours after I ordered and realized I didn't even get 2 orders of dumplings that I ordered So I call and ask to leave a note so that I can come back on Monday and just get a refund for the whole thing Come back and ask to talk to a manager and the owner was there again so I was like perfect you gave us these gift cards would you mind refunding us like you had that other man that was being super rude (hoping that she would be considerate because of the fact I wasn't super rude and didn't make a scene on Saturday like the other man had) I showed her my 4 (10$) gift certificates and said that we would like a refund she replied with no And I told her that I was trying to be considerate and patient unlike the other dude who she ACTUALLY REFUNDED and then she told me that he didn't take his food and that was her entire argument even though she literally offered him his food and he didn't want it because it had been sitting out for over an hour Then I said okay dude I guess we took the food whatever can we atleast get refunded for the gift certificates you gave us in exchange for half of our bill to which she also replied no. This seriously confused me considering she gave the other guy a refund for his whole check and now she is not even offering me a refund in the same situation Then I am like okay this establishment is an absolute is super unprofessional (in my head) AND THEN THE OWNER STORMS OFF INTO THE BACK (Don't know why just don't think she had the mental capacity to handle this situation) To which then the owner must have sent up a manger to refund me for my dumplings and then I literally only got refunded for one of the orders if dumplings that I was missing and at that point I just left, couldn't be wasting anymore time at this place. The worst part is the only reason I ordered food there was because anongs was closed that day, and boy have I been glad I've been going to anongs all this time because Jesus this place sucks Even the food was sooooo subpar compared to anongs from the egg rolls to the pad Thai to the massaman curry Thai spice's food just isn't comparable to anong and the service that the OWNER not a hostess or a waiter that was frustrated and didn't know what to do in a situation like that this was the OWNER like Jesus if that doesn't speak volumes about this place idk what does Also just want to shout out all of the employees the hostess girl working Saturday night (12/4/21) like handled everything perfectly while getting yelled at by this super rude guy where as the owner couldn't even do that In addition the workers working on 12/7/2021 were so much more professional than the owner and i truly hope they get a raise just for working for this lady and handling situations that are meant for owners and if anything I hope they find a better place to work read more

We visit Laramie at least twice a year and always want Thai food. My daughter stopped in (she lives in Laramie) a short time ago and told us about Thai Spice. Her enthusiasm required us to stop and I'm very pleased we did. It was the day after Christmas so it was nice and quiet. Other than the group that left as we arrived, there was only one other group tonight. We were immediately welcomed and seated by a server who was friendly. We kept it simple (a wise move after feasting on Christmas) and had only chicken satay ($5) and the big serving of soup ($14). The satay was easily cut with the edge of my fork and very tender. The soup was FANTASTIC. We had a full quart of soup that we brought home. I asked about gluten free menu items, as my mother (not with us) has celiac and is highly sensitive to cross contamination. The chef, who is the owner, came and talked with us, recommending specific items. She even knew so much about gluten that she knew even gluten free items that were fried would be cross contaminated by the oil. Five stars for service Five stars for food Five star for value Five stars for prodigy knowledge. Thank you!! read more

Amazingly alluring interior for a weather beaten part of town. I was impressed with the flavoring and freshness of the food and promptness of the service. I had the ginger beef, I asked for it to mildly spicy, I got food with an acridity of the sun. I couldn't finish. My wife got a Thai beef salad she loved. Also, they were out of Thai egg rolls. Not sure how that can happen, but it did. Overall, a little treasure in a hick town. read more

So if you're going to be calling in for a take out, it can be kind of a drag as them picking up the phone is usually a hit or miss and you'll almost always be put on hold for at least a minute. However, the food is always worth it. I'm giving it a four stars only because the service isn't perfect, but it's hands-down the best Asian food in Laramie. read more

I ordered takeout when visiting from out of town. The food was ready very fast, and it tasted delicious! We had the spicy eggplant with fried tofu and Penang curry with beef and it was all delicious. After ordering a dish requesting only 2 stars of spice we couldn't eat our meals due to how hot they were. Hesitant to call because it's not in our nature, we figured if we can't eat the food its warranted The person who took our call said they'd ask if there is anything that could be done and got back to us with "there's nothing we can do". Now we're eating crackers for dinner. read more

We went there for the first time on New Years Eve. Since there were 6 of us, we were able to sample a variety of food. It was all yummy. The pad prik king - green bean dish was outstanding.!!! They do have tofu as a protein option for veggies. It is not on the menus Our waitperson, Katy, was also outstanding. She raised the average level of service in Laramie all by her own self. When are we going back? Hopefully tonight! read more

I consider myself a bit of a Thai food snob, lol. I have had it from all over this country. I thoroughly enjoy the food here, and opt for the Larb and dumplings almost every time. My foodie friend that comes with me enjoys the curries. We both have never had a bad meal here, nor bad service. This is my go to place for Thai in town, and one of the best Thai eateries I have ever frequented. read more

The best Thai food. Try the Massaman curry and their Thai tea. I eat here all the time.

It is difficult to compare two different Thai restaurants in Laramie. On the one hand, Thai Spice is slightly cheaper than Anong's, but I do favor Anong's as well. The staff is friendly and it's never too long of a wait to grab a table. On one occasion, I got the chicken pad thai and a friend got the sweet and sour beef. Both entrees were enough that we had some to take home. Another time, I decided to call in an order for chicken pad thai and they had it ready to go in the short travel time from near the stadium to the restaurant. Perfect for a nice meal for a busy, stressful grad student that didn't have time to cook that night read more
