We've had take out a couple of times since the Covid stuff and I've become a serious fan. We usually get the Massaman or the Penang curry and Pad Thai. Both curries are flavorful with lots of veggies and tofu. The only issue I have with them is that I never know what heat level to expect. Massaman is mild and I've ordered it with 1 star heat and could barely eat it. The Penang naturally contains more heat but even without any chosen heat it was hotter than I expected. Thai Spice altered my tastebuds, and I now cannot settle for any Thai food of lesser quality. My mother and I discovered it a while ago, and it's the only place we'll eat when she visits town. We ordered our food and it said it was out for delivery on the site. We waited an hour and called just to check on the status of the order, but no one answered. The time was getting closer to when the restaurant was about to close we call 4 more times and no answer. Finally someone answers and says "Calling multiple times is not a good way to check the status of the order" *so obviously they are screening their calls and purposely ignored us* He asks for the name of the order and then we hear someone in the background say "Oh that order is going out now" *the order never went out all that time* TERRIBLE Customer Service! This would've been handled so much better if they just answered and let us know they never sent the food out Update: We get the food almost 2 hours later and it's so cold. Super friendly staff and comfortable atmosphere, they also do take out if you don't have time to sit. Everytime we order delivery it's fast and friendly service. Online ordering makes it a breeze. I've never had a bad meal here, last night we ordered to go and it was a GREAT MEAL. Small and clean, the restaurant is on the corner of a street in DT Laramie. A lot like Mayberry, it's nice to have something other than chicken fried steak and burgers. The food was delicious, modestly priced and the portions were ample. The staff made us feel very welcome and seated us promptly. The menu has many options. We had the red curry with chicken and pad thai. Both were fresh and flavorful. The pad thai was very good and not as sweet as it sometimes is; the lime gave it a nice tang. The Massaman Curry is wonderful although the portion size on take out orders has diminished a bit as has the amount of veggies in the curry. Not sure if I just had two bad orders and if that is the new standard. The pad thai is great too. Didn't like the mango rice at all-tasted "off" but that could just be my taste buds as my friends love the stuff. As so many have commented previously the service was great, the staff very attentive to my dinning needs. The Crab Rangoon was better than most and the Pad Thai was served hot and spicy. What I love about Thai food is the subtle flavor nuances with most dishes but my meal was lacking this. However I would recommend Thai Spice and hope to return soon to try their soup! read more

Ok, this is not a high end Thai restaurant. It was a pleasant surprise in while passing through Wyoming, where we had seen little more than steakhouses and fast food. I suspect the pot stickers were frozen and they were served with yellow curry, which was unusual. The rest of the meal was good but bland. The worse thing I can say about this restaurant is I had to wait 5 minutes to be seated. That is because we went at the geriatric hour (3:45) and they were in the back prepping for the evening rush. Holy cow! It was awesome! We had the beef fried rice, chicken pad prik king, pork pad see ew, shrimp tom yam and chicken pad kee mao. All of it was wonderful. The food is absolutely wonderful, though I fear eating there. I've repeatedly seen servers scooping ice from the ice machine directly with glassware, chipping the glassware in the machine. Some of the servers are aware and clean the machine after, most are not. I've also seen the owner licking the cookware (spoons, ladles, etc) and putting them back into the food. Not sipping, mind you, but utensil-swallowing actions. She's even dropped a few and put them right back into the preparing dishes. read more

I've traveled and had authentic curry and also way better pad Thai. I was disappointed in the fact that the curry was super thin, the potatoes in the curry weren't cooked at all, and the chicken was like rubber. My boyfriend had the pad Thai and his was cold when it came out, the beef was rubber, and he wasn't impressed this time. He had previously came and liked his pad Thai. The restaurant was also cold. Normally this restaurant is pretty good. Yesterday I wanted to order a delivery and tried calling a ton of times and they wouldn't answer the phone. Today I tried again. Delivery only available during dinner hours. So I said I would order carry out. They said they closed already. Half an hour early. I verified the time, he said they got too busy and had to close early. A restaurant that closes to purposely shut out customers. The food is good but the service and waitstaff are one reason not to return. We tried again to see if anything had changed with this restaurant. Not so much. Just basics like the jar with hot peppers was empty--requested it filled---returned to the table with 7 small pieces suspended in the same OLD liquid. Splitting an entree and the "waitperson" did not bring plates to do so. Every request was met with some sarcastic attitude or opposition. The portions continue to get smaller and the prices higher. Order something based on a cheap base--noodles or yesterday's leftover rice--you will still receive an overpriced item but quantity is a little better. What a find. Thai Spice looks a little like a dive from the outside. The block is a little grubby, and the restaurant is very difficult to even see, located right next to a tattoo parlor. But inside it is clean, with modern seating and absolutely stunning Thai food. My wife and I have eaten Thai in many places over the years. Thai Spice ranks as the very best. A green curry chicken with coconut milk came with a sublime mix of spices, tender chicken and a well-chosen assortment of appropriate vegetables, all perfectly prepared. Delicious We also ordered a basil spiced chicken, a completely different flavor profile, a little spicier, but equally delicious. Service was prompt, courteous and knowledgeable, and prices were actually quite low for food prepared as thoughtfully as our meal. I would highly recommend Thai Spice to anyone. read more

This restaurant was good, but didn't exceed our expectations. It was sub-par Thai, and when they say their dishes aren't that spicy they really are. If I had been able to eat most of my dish without burning my mouth off, it would've been more enjoyable. They also don't customise the dish to the way you want it, i.e. taking out Chili peppers. Also, the crab rangoons are mostly fried wrapper with a little bit of filling. Decent for a stop in town by our hotel but not for a great sit down meal. read more
