This is what you're looking for. Not Corona Village, but Chano's Village. New name I guess. Oh man, the Ceviche is the best. Ha, I had to try it a second time, the next day to see if it was a fluke. Nope, amazing so good! Like I said, this is what you're looking for. read more

The margaritas are gross, and the food was not great. I had the carne asada tacos. You have to eat them with a fork because the tortillas are wet. I had the "Ultimate" margarita. Too sweet. No salt on the rim (wasn't asked by the server if I wanted it). Not enough ice, the mixers must have been warm because the ice was melting in the drink when it arrived at the table. Won't be back... read more

Food was good we got the carne asada burrito and the steak fajitas and the molcajete Service was trash my server kept chatting with her coworkers barely checked on us and we felt like we were interrupting by just being there never got refills even tho she walked past us like 3x didn't ask if we needed anything and i would include her name but she never introduced herself or had a name tag :/ read more

The food was just okay. Nothing special. Service was poor. Our waiter must have had something else in mind for us when we ordered. My son's meal wasn't even close to what he ordered. Ambiance was good but it is pretty hard to eat ambience. read more

The name may have changed (used to be Corona Village) but the food is still the same...and it's PHENOMENAL! I went to UW from 2000-2004 and this was my favorite restaurant. Even after graduating, anytime in the last 21 years, I make sure to eat here if I'm passing through on I-80. It's right off of the 313 exit on I-80. read more

Always quick Always good Affordable This is your typical large size Mexican restaurant. It's been around for decades and it shows- in a good way via the patronage and tasty menu. The menu is large but you can't go wrong with enchiladas or fajitas. The margaritas are delicious and the warm chips with salsa always hit the spot. I recommend their cheese dip and make sure to check out the restroom, the sink and tile work are beautiful. read more

You wouldn't expect the best Mexican restaurant in a 100 miles to be Laramie WY just of I-80 exit 312, but this is it! The food is unbelievable. Very flavorful, fresh, and copious. The service is also excellent. The tables and entire restaurant is immaculately clean. This is a family owned and operated restaurant. And the pride, passion, and care shows. I ordered the $17.00 chimichanga del mar. It was perfectly cooked and extremely flavorful. Not at all fishy considering it's packed with seafood. It is served on a giant 14" plate. read more

Amazing food and service always when I stop there. This time I enjoyed the El Patron's platter with black beans. My waiter, a nephew of the proprietor, gave me proper attention without being intrusive. The food was excellent as usual. read more

Complete rip off. You now get half of what you use to get for a to go cheese dip and there was no price change and of course they didn't mention the size difference. You still though are only given about half the chips you need to eat said queso. That'll be the last time for that. So unfortunate how much greed had taken over. Oh and they charge an additional 3.5% to use a credit card. Nice knowin ya Chanos Village. read more

READ!!!! This was my first time visiting, and sadly, it will be my last. Their website advertised a happy hour with no set menu, so we asked our server about it. We were told drinks were half off, so we ordered three drinks, expecting the discount. When the bill came, we were disappointed to see that only the margaritas were discounted--and they were only $2 off, not half-price as we were promised. To make matters worse, the third drink was full price! We tried to speak with the manager, but they did nothing to address the issue, and our server avoided us afterward. This experience was frustrating and ruined our night. I feel misled and let down by both the service and the lack of resolution. You've lost a customer, and I won't be returning. read more

This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. I stop here every time I drive through Laramie. The place is absolutely beautiful on the inside. It's so festively decorated and so warm and inviting. The drink menu is out of this world. There are so many tasty drinks to choose from. The mojitos are legendary! The deserts are so numerous and unique. The plantain burrito was so unique and so very delicious. The meat in the burritos is not your typical Mexican restaurant meat that has a reputation for being rough and chewy. The steak is tender and flavorful. Absolutely delicious!! I can't recommend it enough. It's looks like it's in a kinda rough looking area, but it really isn't. The restaurant is stunning on the inside and warm and inviting. read more

My husband and I were driving through this town (Laramie WY) on our road trip from Orange County, California when we had a craving for Mexican food. We found this restaurant, we were skeptical about how good it would be but we were proven wrong! The food was authentically Mexican all the way. Coming from California where Mexican food is amazing, we were actually able to taste how similar it was. I had the Michelada and it was probably one of the best I've had. We ordered the carne asada plate with garlic shrimp. We also had their Banana burrito with vanilla ice cream for dessert l, which was super delicious! The service by "Chanito" was even better. Young waiter but with the skills of a seasoned one. He found out we had a long trip ahead of us back to Cali and made sure to give us a bag of chips with some salsa for the road!!! WOW! We can't wait to come back next year for our already planned road trip which will take us to upstate N.Y. We highly remind this place. read more

It's hit or miss at this place on the food. Most of the time, it's really good food and other times,it's not good. I guess it depends on who's working in the kitchen . If you want to eat here, be prepared to spend $20 a person. It's kind of expensive. I had a good experience this time, but last time I visited here, it wasn't very good. Perspective: My husband and I traveled the entire west coast with two service dogs for social anxiety and ptsd. Some places were not great to say the least. Service a little slow. Chicken had zero flavor. Margarita flavor was off, maybe too much artificial flavoring. Booth seating is too low for the table. And the whole dining room vibrates with pedestrian traffic. Could hear noise and slamming from the silverware prep area. read more

Corona Village is good for both takeout and dine-in in my experience! The food is pretty reliable and tasty (though I do have qualms with their extremely chewy steak), the cost is fair for the area and current economy, and I've always had very kind service. It can definitely get loud at times, especially as a family-friendly restaurant where lots of families dine in. I enjoy eating here as a Laramie-ite, though if I lived somewhere with more options than Laramie, I doubt I'd come here often. read more

It's not bad food, it's just very bland and uninteresting. Decent service, but nothing in the food would compel me to return.

Immediately seated in relaxed welcoming atmosphere in the bar lounge with sports on TV. Started with Large Guac. Very good, but no match for the Chicken Mole Plate....YUM! read more

Walked in at the recommendation of a Laramie resident. Certainly not a fancy place, but we were seated immediately and every member of the staff was friendly and accommodating. Large menu and full bar. Our drinks took a while to arrive but the margarita was POTENT (although very basic - nothing to write home about, which was fine because after two, my dinner partner wouldn't have been able to put a complete sentence together) and the anonymous-brand wine was perfectly nice. The salsa was fresh and full of veggies and contained absolutely no spice. But it was plentiful. We each got a platter so we could try multiple foods. The tamale on the El Pátron was stuffed full of meat but really dry, the cheese enchilada was as good as a hunk of white cheese melted in a tortilla could be, and the spinach-and-mushroom stuffed chicken breast was oddly Italian tasting. I mean, it was good. But odd. So odd. The Tres Amigos had two meh meat-and-sauce offerings and a pretty good chili relleno. The corn tortillas looked like they came from the tortilla factory, but tasted good. No photos because (a) the food was not plated with photography in mind, and (b) both looked exactly like the photos in the menu so photos would be unnecessary. Overall, it was fine. read more

Ate Dinner here with my hubby, while traveling from Estes Park, to Jackson Hole. I thought the outside and indoor interior/design was splendid, which environment makes up a sizable chunk of the dining experience! I started off by ordering a Mango Margarita, which was a wise move, because it took a while to actually be able to place our order. I ordered The Carne Asada, and my husband ordered the Al Carbon Steak Tacos. The food was was good, not life changing, but good. All in all it was a good dining experience, the slowness was the main area that was lacking. Still happy that we stopped though! read more

I disagree with the gratuity being added even if there are several customers. It was added to our service was really bad and we ended up paying the waiter almost $30 for the poor service. I feel it should always be by performance not because the business chooses to add it. We even had two separate tickets. I had swore I would not go back about 5 years ago. The only reason why we went this last time is because of family time. read more

I was starving and had a strong hankering for a sit down dinner of Mexican food. I visited this establishment yesterday evening and was amazed with their menu and especially the combination dinners. After what for me was a long time perusing the menu I settled on the Tres Amigos. the tortilla chips were rather plain commercially available chips, but the salsa was fresh with chunks of tomatoes, some diced onion and cilantro. This salsa was not very thick, but very tasty. This particular combination platter had pork chunks simmered in green chili, beef chunks simmered in red chili, and a chile relleno covered in thick cheese. There also was some Spanish rice and refried beans with melted cheese. These two sides were standard fare and there was nothing outstanding about them. The pork and beef were quite flavorful and the chips were full of flavor with being very spicy. The chile relleno was good also. Service was very good and the ambiance was what one would expect in a classic Mexican restaurant and had an elk shoulder mount as well. Seating was comfortable and well-spaced apart. This meal completely satisfied my desire for a good Mexican dinner. I have to add that the quantity of food on the platter was huge and nearly enough for two to share. read more

We're always excited to go to Corona. The food is always hot, fresh, and delicious, from the warm chips with tantalizing salsa to the cinnamon chips with whipped cream. I chose this spot strictly because of location and hours. Prior reviews caused me pause, but I really had few other options so I went for it. Ordered take out that was ready in 5 minutes. Ordered pork enchiladas suiza, and the amount of food was generous and included a large bag of chips. The pork was not shredded but in large cubes. The beans, rice, sauces were all delicious. Price was completely reasonable. read more

Typical Mexican joint in a small town. Food was good but not great. The salsa and chips were good, not spicy but a decent flavor. Our first and last time. Service was slow. Food took forever to cook. No seasoning on the carne. So far not satisfied. The review of taco bell being better is an exact match to our experience. My family and I always stop here when passing through Laramie! I tried a Corona Tropics drink this time around and was not disappointed - very fruity and delicious. Our food (cheese quesadilla and beef chimichanga) was hot and filling. The salsa also gets a thumbs up, but the chips do not. The atmosphere is not comfortable or cozy by any means. Although it's a very spacious restaurant, this allows for every sound to be reverberated through the entire building, so don't go here during peak business hours if you'd like to have a nice conversation. The service was very mediocre. Will likely be back, but will try to avoid busy dinner time next time. read more

It's a bit uncomfy if you aren't straight, white, and love the lord. We blended in enough but the feeling of wanting to escape asap because of the stares was interesting. We didn't look odd by any means, but you could tell we weren't from town (or so it felt like). The servers were somewhat disengaged and the food came out luke warm (both plates). The flavor was almost nonexistent and very bland but would suffice for a novice or someone who doesn't know true Mexican flavor. The atmosphere was decent for what it was and we went here because it had the best reviews in town. It was decent but not 4.7 star decent. read more

The best place for Mexican food in Laramie by far!! Never disappoints! The platters, the desserts, the drinks.... Chefs kiss.

We waited over an hour for our food and people around us that came in after us were getting there food we asked the waitress 3 times about our food due to having diabetics at our table and she kept telling us it was coming out of the kitchen right now and nothing very pissed and irritated so we got up and left never will we eat here again. read more

called Thursday to make a reservation for 10 people for Friday at 7. They guy took my name and said he wrote it on the calendar. Came Friday, was told they don't do reservations on football weekends so we were told we had to wait. After being seated, we sat for 40 minutes before our order was taken, in which we had to grab the waitress and ask if we could order food yet. Once our order was taken, another hour passes and we grabbed our waitress again to ask if our food was coming. We saw people sat after us, order before us, and eat, and leave all before we even got food. Just to get food we sat for over an hour and half. We we're never checked in on. We had to grab random servers to ask for refills on water. It was not a good experience at all. read more
