The employees attitude was bad and even felt annoyed to have to take our order. Multiple tables were dirty and we even had to clean our own table. Easy, open late, and delicious. Seriously the best carne asada fries I've ever had! They use the best kind of fries for it, the condiment ratios were perfect, and I am bummed I was just passing through and probably won't be back anytime soon. Carnitas smashed flat like hashbrowns and fried in grease-they were so fried and so greasy there wasn't any PORK (for Pork Carnitas) taste left in them. Just burnish grease taste. Com'on. We took a chance after driving six hours. The reviews looked great. My Tamale dinner was incredible. A bit spicy but not lip burning, you can add your own sauce of the hot sauces they supply. I don't care for hot, the tamales were perfect. It's not a pretty dish but the flavor is authentic and super delicious. My husband ordered the Carnita dinner, he could not eat it all! They were not stingy at all lots of meat, juicy too. I tasted it and loved it too. It's a shame we will be here only one night or I would probably eat here 3 times a week. Ordered on DoorDash as we do every Sunday morning. We order the same thing. A breakfast burrito and chicken enchiladas with rice and beans. I think we got carne asada fries and a carne asada burrito. Thank heavens for DoorDash refunds when your order isn't even close. Not to mention, my husband has gout and can't eat a lot of beef. Wanted a breakfast burrito as we drove I-80. Found this place on Yelp and decided to try it out. So happy we did! Huge burritos with tons of meat, made fresh with a well stocked salsa bar (5 sauces, cucumbers, pickled carrots & jalapeños, and lime). $9-12 per was well worth it. This was a great place for authentic Mexican food. It's typically hard to find a great authentic Mexican food outside states such as Texas or California, but Fernandito's knows how to deliver. Plus side, they have a drive through so you can get it on the go. When in the area or driving through I will definitely return for more of their delicious menu items. read more

Stopped by for some breakfast food in a pinch, went through the drive-thru and ordered a family size amount for a full car of five. Service was a little short and sounded rushed but was not rude. Waited perhaps 15 minutes at the window for a medley of items. Our order was around $40 for 5 items, when we got them each order was the size of two items combined. My rice and bean burrito was tasty, our sausage breakfast burrito got a thumb up, and so did the OG brekkie burrito, carne asada taco and asada quesadilla. This is a nice little Mexican café. You can either drive through or go inside and eat. There's plenty of tables. There's a free salad bar with every kind of chili sauce you would want and cucumbers. I was thrilled to see that they had Macha and eggs, which I love just shredded beef with chilies and onions and eggs and then you have your fresh hot tortillas to make your little taquitos up with it was served with beans and rice. My husband had Carne Asada, and instead of coming in Big piece. It was like chopped up into lots of little pieces that you could make your own taquitos with it was a little chewy but still nice and hot and good they had or chop in a drink. I would recommend this to anybody that wanted to have a nice lunch or breakfast or anything delicious little place. Thank you. read more

We were on our way to Colorado Springs and stopped here for one night. We accidentally discarded this local gem. Originally we set gps to another Mexican restaurant and we made a wrong turn and ended up in their parking lot. We went in and tried. It's fantastic. Love everything about this place. Fresh salsa bar for customers and food potion was way bigger then I anticipated. We order carnitas plate, chicken taco, fish taco, carnitas taco and rolled tacos. If you have the chance passing Laramie, please stop by and support local restaurant rather then big corporations like Taco Bell. read more

We stopped in randomly after getting gas on our drive from Denver to Salt Lake City. Three of us got the breakfast burrito, each with a different meat. These were some of the best breakfast burritos we have ever had!! I am so sad that they aren't local to us. I would frequent this establishment if they were! I stumbled on this restaurant while eating at an Indian restaurant across the street. For years my go to drive through Mexican restaurant in Laramie was Almanzas out on Grand Ave & 30th. I'm a creature of habit and order almost nothing but grilled chicken burritos. Fernanditos' are excellent. Nothing but chicken and a milder red sauce. No filler. No beans. No rice. Just chicken. The burrito is large and totally filling, and fulfilling. Fernanditos salsas are excellent as well. I'm particularly enamored of the spicy guacamole salsa. They have a lot of fresh salsas, from mild to tongue burning. It's worth getting out of the car to see which appeal to you. Their credit card system doesn't allow for tipping. On one of my drive through visits I gave the guy at the window a five dollar bill. He was mightily surprised. Don't forget to tip. Probably the best part for freeway warriors is the restaurant is 10 seconds north of the I-80 freeway at exit 313. read more

This was our third choice, because Buffalo Indian restaurant and the Corona Village restaurant were both closed on the Tuesday after Memorial Day. We had high hopes considering the higher Yelp ratings. But were disappointed for a few reasons. The chips and salsa we ordered were more like chips and pico de gallo. My #6 combo enchilada was barely luke warm and the cheese was not melted. Chimichanga and burrito tortillas were rubbery chewy. The "shredded" beef was good and tender but in large chunks.
